Happy Day 8 of the 12 Days of CHRIS-elle! Today I teamed up with Elemis to bring you guys my tips on achieving that permanent winter glow. Keep scrolling to see how I do it and make sure to comment on all of the 12 days to be entered to win some amazing stuff!
Dry winter weather really takes a toll on my skin. It’s almost like the air just sucks all the moisture out of my pores! Luckily, I’ve figured out a way to keep my skin hydrated AND give it a gorgeous glow during the colder season.
As you guys know, the key to getting fabulous skin during the winter months is moisture, moisture, moisture! And no products give me that winter glow quite like Elemis. Sourced from nature and ever-evolving, the Elemis products are some of my top skincare staples. They’ve got everything from a killer Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm (because who will really say no to more collagen?) to get off all that holiday party makeup to a SuperFood Face Oil that instantly hydrates without leaving an oily residue.
1. Remove All Makeup
The first step to making sure your skin is glowy and not dull is to get alllll that makeup off! Having a clean slate for your skincare products mean that they can do everything they need to do. No one likes clogged pores and nothing is worse than last night’s makeup still on your skin! I added the Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm to my routine and I’m so glad I did. Cleansing balms are a great gentle way to take off all your makeup- it just melts it right off and this one smells especially nice! It leaves my skin cleansed, nourished and soft.
2. Add a Layer of Moisture
After I take my makeup off, it’s time to replenish that moisture. Not a lot of people realize this but having a different moisturizer for daytime and nighttime can be really beneficial. The Peptide⁴ Night Recovery Cream Oil is a great overnight boost of moisture to add to your skin when it’s rejuvenating its cells while you sleep. It’s all the moisture of a cream and oil combined! For daytime, the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream gives me the moisture and radiance I need to look and feel brand new!
3. Don’t Forget Your Eyes
Along with the Peptide4 Night Recovery Cream Oil and the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream, Elemis has moisture covered for all over! When my skin gets dry, the first place it shows is around my eyes (you guys know how insecure I am about my under-eye circles). The skin there is so delicate that it really needs that extra hydration. Along with the Cream Oil and Marine Cream, these eye masks are great to give your eyes some extra love and brightness.
4. Lock the Moisture In
You guys know how OBSESSED I am with oils, and the SuperFood Face Oil is amazing. I like to think of oils as a way to lock all of that other moisture in. This oil, in particular, is a part of their Superfood line which means it’s packed full of amazing nutrients to help nourish and hydrate your skin. It’s full of healthy anti-oxidants like broccoli, flaxseed, and daikon radish and though most people would think to only use oil at night, this one is made to use first thing in the morning! Add a few drops of the oil all over your face before your moisturizer and it will instantly create a barrier of moisture for your skin as well as gives instant radiance.
[parallax] [/parallax]See? Keeping that winter glow is a lot easier than you think! Thanks to our partnership with Elemis we were able to make a generous donation to Baby2Baby just in time for the holidays!

I really like this question… I am somehow a bit negative in life and asking myself what I am thankful for is the perfect way to look at things in a different light. So, I am thankful for my move in my new apartment (so exciting!) and most importantly for my friends and family that are always by my side no matter what.
Thankful for my family. Their support means so much to me.
I went through my first break up and number one lesson is how beautiful and important family and friends are. I am so thankful for them.
Being a mother to three incredible young ladies….who contribute to society, are kind and all around some of the most interesting people I’ve ever met! What a true blessing for which I’m deeply grateful for. #12DaysGiveaway

I’m obsessed with good skincare! My momma taught me well! Turning 40 in February and people still tell me I look 29! I’ll take it! I’m most thankful for my health this year. I fell off a ladder at work and had back surgery. It’s been a long recovery, but far from what I’ve seen others experience. ❤️❤️❤️
Seriously needed this right about now! I’ve been so dry this winter!
I’m blessed with the time spent with my grandma as she’s the closest person to me since I was a kid. She took care of me and taught me things that I can never learn in school. As she’s growing older, I have the responsibility to give my love to her as much as she did for me. Time doesn’t stop for anyone, so I really appreciate the moments I get to spent with her.
I’m most thankful for my health this year
I’m thankful for the opportunity to travel, thankful for the good health of friends and family, thankful for my wonderful fiancé, it’s been a great year ❤️

Thanks Chriselle for the reminder. So thankful for health!
A safe pregnancy and delivery of my daughter, xo
I am most thankful this year for being able to conquer my biggest life challenge: maintaining a healthy lifestyle of fitness and clean eating.
Something that I’m thankful for is the privilege of being able to travel the world with my family! My father passed a couple years ago and my mom started to travel to visit friends all over as a coping mechanism but it soon developed into an awesome traveling hobby so she’s always on the lookout for deals and I’m happy that I’m her go-to for a traveling buddy! Also I’m always thankful for my friends and family

Hi Chriselle!
This year, I am most thankful for my new job. Like you mentioned numerous times before…it is not work if you love what you do. I recently started this position and am loving every moment of it and thankful to have been given the opportunity to grow within the company.
x
I am thankful for my health and all the beautiful experiences I have made and wonderful people I have met in my life so far. Each of them leaves their little footprints on our soul, even if they leave at one point. These little footprints are essential for who we are. I am also thankful for the possibility of education. As for granted as this seems, it sadly isn’t for so many people and especially children all over the world.
Love,
Deborah Chloé
How I wish I had my grandmother’s skin. She’s totally vintage but all she uses these days are the simplest of moisturisers and she only has the faintest of crows feet around her eyes. Maybe it’s the genetics but who would know you have a daughter and is not in your 20s! Funny how we used to want to be mature when we’re young but we want to be young when we grow older. Winter has been harsh on my skin and I am trying all sorts of remedies to try and keep my skin happy. My grandma thinks its hilarious how my mum and I are trying to make fermented lemon soju face toner but if our skin likes, we make! It nice to be able to have family activity time even though I am all grown now and I hope you continue to be hands on with your cute Chloe too! Family is the biggest blessing for the seasonal holidays! My family keeps my skin glow permanently from within (even if my skin is dull on the outside from the cold weather).
I am thankful for my family. Family is everything.
I am most thankful for having loving parents who can be a pain sometimes but I know they do it because they care for me and they love me. I am just so thankful for them to be by my side and so fortunate that they are healthy. I honestly think that health is the most important because if youre not healthy then you can’t do what you want to do. I am also thankful for the best boyfriend. We are long distance and it is definitely hard, but we make it work and tryy to see each other as soon as we get the chance. This year was a good year because we made it through our one year anniversary and I just can’t wait to see him for New Years which I am surprising him. He doesn’t know I am visiting him so I am so excited!
I’m thankful for so many things! One being the possibility to travel and to now be in Canada for a year with my boyfriend! Such an amazing experience!
I am most thankful for my health and being able to care for my children.
First and foremost I am thankful for my family, for the many blessings received, for a year full of health and amazing moments to cherish, and for a new 2018 that I pray will be as amazing as today. Yes, and for being able to get to know you all through the internet, but you have thought many of us a lot to be thankful for…

Your last post for 12 days of Chriselle really struck a chord with me. I’ve always been the type of person to have dreams as big as my mind could fathom yet these last few years I’ve felt so defeated and those dreams of mine somehow became just that… Dreams. I know it may seem silly but I feel like winning this computer would be the jumpstart I need to believe in myself again and know that anything I set my mind to is attainable, not just some wish. So I can get this show on the road as they say.
I am thankfull for the strength to go to gym regularly.
Your skin is gorgeous and glowing! I would love to have glowing skin! I’m very thankful for being given the opportunity to take on a job that allows more flexibility in time 🙂

I am a college student. As an individual pursuing higher education, I am extremely thankful for the opportunity to pursue my passion in medicine. The journey has been difficult, and therefore, frustration and doubt are common feelings and emotions. Despite the challenges, I am so privileged to have parents that support and encourage me to continue this journey. I am a junior, and this means that by now I know, academically speaking, whether or not I should continue down this path, and so I have never felt this gratitude more than this year because I am continuously reminded, despite occasional failure, that I am surrounded by people who challenge and empower me to work harder. I am humbled and forever grateful that I have a passion that I can pursue. #womeninmedicine

This year after graduating, I took a few months off (due to a bad work experience) and I’ve been taking the time to figure out what I want to do with my life. Its taking longer then I expected and It’s been a struggle, but she has been constantly pushing me and encouraging to try everything/anything I want. This encouragement is so huge for me and now I’m considering going back to school to pursue another degree, in a different major, so a major challenge for me. I would never have been able to imagine this without my mom’s help.

I feel like this would be my answer every year but it’s my friends and family. Every year they lift me up and not only amaze me with their capacity for love and support (which always seems to be growing) but they truly inspire me just by being themselves. Every year they remind me just how important and vital platonic relationships like friendship and familial relationships are.

My boyfriend. I’ve never imagined how much joy this man has brought me. Honestly, this year was a total roller coaster of emotions. My boyfriends and i are still together and we never argue or have any trouble in our relationship its so weird it’s exactly like it was the first 2 months
This will sound a bit cliche, but this year, I’m most thankful for understanding and empathy. I received both from my professors on multiple occasions this year – both in the aftermath of the hurricane that wiped out power in my area during a crucial exam window, and when I was late with important papers because my youngest niece was having seizures and I missed deadlines as I sat in a hospital waiting room. And on a personal level, I watched my mother extend both to me when I came out to her at the beginning of the year. Despite her deeply held conservative, evangelical Christian beliefs, she made a point to withhold judgment and remind me that her love for me is wholly unconditional. To be honest, I can’t think about that without tearing up even now, because I’d been so afraid of her reaction to that revelation for so many, many years. Our relationship is, without a doubt, multiple times stronger now because her understanding and empathy have wiped away my fears. How could I not be grateful for that?
For new oportunities.. healthy family and power to go 🙂

I am thankful that I am blessed with such a wonderful family!

We live together in a suite and I hope that we will stay this close throughout the rest of the years. I hope that this friendship will last forever and ever as the years pass by. There is also my group of friends back home and I’m thankful that they stuck by my side even during the worst of times. Since we go to college in different places, we don’t see each other much and there’s an even smaller chance to hang out with them. I’m glad that we are still close friends, and I hope that my relationship with them gets better and never break.

I’m thankful for starting my first job, and finally feeling like we’ve settled into our new city. The past few years have been really tough in our house as I’ve been finishing up my doctoral degree and an additional Master’s degree. I was so tired, depressed, and frustrated with being in school. This year I finally started my first post-school job and I have been able to do work I love, develop a better work-life balance, and find time to start settling into our home and city!
I am most thankful for Mom still being healthy and active.
I am most thankful for the blood. The precious blood of Jesus Christ that was shed on the cross; that I, an unworthy rebel, would be reconciled with the Father. I, of course am thankful for my family and friends, but above all, the fact that that gift is freely given to everyone who believes and accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is something to be thankful for!
My skin could use some love! The holiday season always takes a toll on me! There are not enough words to begin to describe how grateful I am for my core group of friends. This year I am especially thankful for the relationship I have with my dad. Our relationship was pretty non-existent. Then when I lost my mom to cancer 5 years ago I took an up close and personal look at my life. My dad and I were as distant as ever. I made the decision to not lose my other parent too. I chose to let everything in our past go. I decided that if I were to grow a relationship with him I have to ask myself what can I do to be the best daughter? So I made a plan, and put it into practice. Now here we are 5 years later and we are closer than we’ve ever been in my 31 years of life. He is my advisor. He is a best friend to me. But most importantly he is my dad and I love him.
This looks great! Loving the natural ingredients.👌🏻

Hi Chriselle,
Today’s post just made me do a little happy dance inside.
I love love skincare, And I’m always trying out different products to find the best combination for my skin. My skin is really REALLY sensitive, So choosing products that make a difference instead of worsening it, is quite a task I must say.
Approaching winter is a whole another ball game, with all the dryness and patchiness, finding the right oroducts to suit and hydrate your skin is so important in the long run.
Watching your videos for so long, I’ve picked up so many great tips from you and I’ve constantly fawned over your flawless skin. How you keep your skin so clear is beyond my imagination. It takes a ton of effort to keep it this clear and I salute you for it. Skincare is not easy and to do skincare that actually tends to your skin is even more of a feat.
Looking forward to more tips on skincare from you.^-^
Love,
Kannagi

I am so thankful this year for health. Our family of 5 took a trip overseas and when we got back we were notified that the person we were staying with was diagnosed with active TB. Our three boys one being only one years old were all in the hospital for two weeks undergoing tests and were confirmed with active TB. So we were met with the health department every morning with the kids medicines. We praise God for getting through this as it was a difficult ride getting the two little ones to take 8 adult pills and our last dose ended on 11/15. It was a long 8 mos but we are so thankful for health, for having meds to cure TB, for the little one getting through the daily meds, and for the county health department.

I am thankful for a good health for my parents, myself, and my loving pooch! To me, health is so above money/wealth- I am not saying that I don’t care to be rich and fine without any $$, but if you are not healthy, you can’t enjoy your life, and what’s the point of being unhealthy and unhappy even if you have a tons of money. Well, some may disagree with me, but I am sticking to my philosophy 😉

I am thankful for my family being closer/more connected than ever this year!
This year I am most thankful for our move back home going so well. My partner and I have been living in Western Australia for the last 7 year and only a couple of months ago we made the decision to move back to Queensland where I’m from and where my family is. There were so many things that could have postponed this move like selling our house and transferring to a different uni plus all the costs but everything fell into place and we even managed to get the dream house we had been keeping an eye on. Just shows that it was definitely the right choice.
Definitely one of the new things I plan on implementing into my skincare routine is a separate moisturizer for the night time. Heck, it wasn’t even until a couple years ago that I started using a moisturizer at all. I’m still doing research on what type of nighttime moisturizer would be best for my oily skin. The winter doesn’t affect my skin too much, but this post gives me some extra options to consider!
Oh! I almost forgot to answer the question, I’m definitely most thankful for the roof over my head, my mother, and her amazing work ethic <3

Hi Chriselle. Great tips on dry winter skin. Your skincare routine has amazing results as your skin looks naturally glowing and flawless. I will have to try to incorporate more facial oil into my skincare routine.
This year I’m most thankful for my life. It’s been a difficult year for my family and I. A bad accident that almost went from life changing to life altering. I’m most thankful also for my supportive husband and family.
So many things to be thankful this year. But the most is for my lovely second daugther, she is a blessing to my family after loosing a baby.
Thank you for making this interaction, I never did so much confession in someones blog and it feels good to be able to talk about it
Hi Chriselle!!
I am grateful for all the wonderful opportunities I was given this year. Especially the support I received from family and friends❤
I’m thankful for my family, it’s the most important thing for me…everything else comes and goes but family it’s always there!
I’m most thankful for the warmth, happiness and kindness that everyone seems to spread this time of year. Family, friends and coworkers! Everyone is just so delightful to be around during the holidays.
I’m first and foremost so very thankful for my mother, who’s a loving, caring, empowering and strong woman who is largely underestimated. She’s had my back through everything I went through and she’s been kind and gentle despite everything life threw at her. I hope to one day be a mother as good as she is.
I’m also thankful for myself, which sounds extremely self-centred, but is meant in an entirely different way as I’ve finally stood up for myself this year and I’m so thankful I could finally do that.
And that’s probably way too much information.
Hi Chriselle! I am thankful that my family and I are happy and healthy this year!
I am most thankful for my mom because she’s really been there for me this year!
I’m grateful that every evening that I do my gratitude practice it isn’t difficult to come up with what I’m grateful for. I realize that I have a rich and textured life, and that it’s based on family, friends, and community.
Hi Chriselle and CINCTeam!
I am most thankful for my job, my family and friends, and my husband. I have amazing coworkers and a supportive boss to back me up, my family and friends who love and support me, and my husband who loves me unconditionally.
I am thankful to have finished my first quarter of college!
I’m most thankful for my parents because they always encourage and support me in everything that I do 👨👩👧💕
I am most thankful for my older sister. Even tho she can be a bit harsh, I know she always think what’s best for me and will always be there for me
I am thankful for my amazing family! Love them ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you for this post, Chriselle! I’ve been struggling a lot with my dryness these days 😕
This year, I’m thankful for A LOT of things.
I’m thankful that I was able to move out this year 🏠.
I’m thankful that my parents were able to support me for moving out.
I’m thankful that I’m able to go to university 📚.
I’m thankful that I got to experience many first times even though there were a lot of failed attemtps. My first failed exam. My first time getting fired. My first failed dish.
Still, I’m thankful that I’m able to eat everything what I want 🍽 .
I’m thankful for being able to decide for nearly all aspects of my life.
But most importantly, I’m so thankful for my surroundings. That there are a few friends in my life who I can always rely on. That I’ve met my soulmate who is treating me with care, respect and love. Last but not least, my parents. I’m able to live my current life because of them. Even though, there were lots of hardships when they really pushed me. That’s why I’ve grown so much ❤️
I could go on and on, but yeah. That’s enough for now ☺️
I am most thankful for a year of good health, making new friends, and settling into a new career.
I’m most thankful for my friends in college and my friends from back home 🙂
This year, I am thankful for the opportunity to go back to school. I was not able to graduate when I would have liked to, but I am slowly getting back in course to take the classes I needed in order to finish my degree. I am grateful for getting over my fears and own judgement of not graduating, in order to take advantage of new opportunities presented to me in order to become a better student.
I am also thankful for the chance to reconnect with and old friend. We had not spoken for several years, and this year we started communicating again and have built a very close relationship. I really am glad to have her back in my life.
You’re skin looks absolutely beautiful; I’m always amazed at how healthy it looks. I wish I had the income to buy upscale products in order to better my skin routine, but I have been trying out all natural skin care products I can make at home instead. But I would love to try to incorporate something like this facial oil.
I’m thankful for good health, happy first year of marriage and supportive friends and family.
What I’m most thankful for this year is that I was able to choose and go to the high school i wanted..
Love xx
I am most thankful for the gift of hope. no matter how we can all sometimes feel we’re in the dark, there is and will always be a glimmer of hope.
Hey Chriselle! I’m excited to try this facial oil! I’ve been on the facial oil trend for a bit now and really enjoying it too 🙂
This year, I am most thankful for finding a job immediately after graduation. Plus it’s such a life-giving job where I feel challenged but affirmed as well! I get to do what I’m passionate about which is social justice related for Asian Americans. #12DaysGiveaway
I’m most thankful for being alive this year! It has been a horrible year for my partner and I…he was diagnosed with heart failure earlier this year with no warning…and then I recently had a ruptured appendix which required two surgeries..am still recovering now (my surgeon says will require at least three months for fill recovery)…even though both situations have been bad and will be ongoing for my partner, we are thankful we are still here and at least I will recover and his condition (even though severe) is not a bedridden illness…he can still walk and talk so can lead a relatively normal life which we are grateful for! After experiencing this, health is definitely the most important thing – nothing else matters if you don’t have your health and people around you that cares about you!
Lots of love from Melbourne Australia
I am thankful for my newborn, Penelope. She brings so much joy in our lives.
I am thankful that everyone in my family is healthy

It’s so important to take care of your skin and I always remind everyone that have to make sure all the makeup comes off no matter how tired you are.
I’m thankful for the friends I have made this year, it’s made me realise how important it is to have friends who support you and are always with you
This year made me appreciate the little things more than ever before,so little moments of calmness, realization, serendipity, affection etc have been making me extremely thankful! And of course-most of all-the health and general well-being of my loved ones and myself,it’s the base for everything else and it’s the biggest blessing at the end of the day. Elemis seems like a dreamy brand,it’s now on my to-try list! xx
I’m glad that you posted about Elemis. I’ve been curious about them for awhile, so it’s great to get a review from someone whose opinion I trust.
Super grateful for my health because if I’m not the best version of myself, how can I be for everyone else and the world?

I’m not thankful for my boyfriend and living with him. We did long distance for almost two years and just moved in together a few months ago and it’s been so amazing. I couldn’t ask for anything more to make my happier!
“Dry winter weather really takes a toll on my skin. It’s almost like the air just sucks all the moisture out of my pores!” – this honestly could not be more relatable. It’s like once winter hits, any moisture in my skin just goes “alright bye! See ya in a couple months!”
I’m most thankful for having really grew as a person this year, having realized and discovered new things about myself. Becoming more confident about myself also helped bring me closer with my family and friends which I’m beyond grateful for. One last thing I’m grateful for is that my hard work in college paid off and I ended with a 4.0 this quarter!!
Yes!! Great advice, I always try to give my skin some extra moisture care when winter bites. And the 12 Days Day 8?! This one is easy! Hands down, I am most thankful for my newly Fiancé!! I love him to eternity. Yes the engagement ring from Tiffany’s is a nice touch too😘😏
I’m learning more and more of the importance of a good skin care routine these days. I wish I had the discipline to be consistent with it though 😝
This year, I am most thankful for the resilience I built while growing up and the people who have genuinely cared for and supported me during my toughest year yet.

I have many things to be thankful for this year (it was such an amazing year!)
First things first, I am very thankful because my loved ones and I are all healthy.. I am thankful that I got to start talking with my dad again and we are getting closer, even my mom and him talk and grab coffee (they have been divorced since I was less than 1 year old, and the fact that they would be able to hold a conversation again was pretty much unimaginable). I am also very thankful for my sister, she is my best friend and I love being able to trust her and be close to her. And also I am very thankful for my boyfriend, we have been together for 4 years now and we really help each other grow and I immensely love him.
Moreover I got to travel to so many beautiful places I had once dreamed of (first time in Europe ever!).. Then I had a great opportunity to do an internship in NYC which taught me a lot and I got to meet incredible people! I am also very thankful because I am graduating this December and I found a job and I will be back in Miami (where my mom lives!)
