For the very first day of 12 Days of CHRIS-elle, I teamed up with essie to create this amazing unconventional holiday glam look. I love the classic holiday colors just as much as the next girl- but if you really want to stand out at your holiday party, try mixing it up a little bit with an unexpected color. When I saw this nail color “For The Twill of It,” I totally fell in love. It has a gorgeous sheen to it and I love how, depending on the light, you can see so many different shades of blue, purple and teal. I took that color inspiration and brought it to my beauty look to give me a show-stopping dramatic eye. ‘For The Twill of It’ is a part of the essie 2017 holiday minis kit! It has four of my all-time favorite essie shades in adorable mini sizes! And if you love the holiday minis kit, you’ll love the essie 2017 leathers collection by Rebecca Minkoff too! It has three beautiful deep shades and a fourth rosy mauve shade with a new take on smooth matte polish.
If you usually stick to neutrals, this is a great way to introduce a little punch of color into your life! It’s bold enough to make a statement but subtle enough to not overwhelm you. Not to mention this little essie holiday minis set is probably the best stocking stuffer ever!
So what do you guys think? Ready to rock an expected polish color like For The Twill of It? Well, you can! This color plus some more amazing essie shades are the first giveaway for the 12 Days of CHRIS-elle. Plus, thanks to our partnership with Essie, we were able to make a generous donation to Baby2Baby!
Day 2 | Day 3 | Day 4 | Day 5 | Day 6 | Day 7 | Day 8 | Day 9
Remember, to enter the 12 Days of CHRIS-elle all you have to do is:
1. Leave a comment down below on this post telling us about your favorite holiday tradition.
2. Come back to the blog every day for the next 12 days and leave a comment on every post!
3. We will be randomly choosing a winner at the end of the 12 days to be announced no later than one business week after.
So remember to comment as much as you want!
Good luck everyone and see you tomorrow!

My darling’s My favorite holiday tradition is sending Christmas cards. The days of sending and receiving greeting cards has passed, but I truly love this tradition. I am the child of British immigrants and all my life I received and sent cards to family and friends overseas. My Christmas card list has grown over the years , while the family overseas has shrunk . Send a card and bring some Christmas joy and love !

Favorite holiday tradition is beer, wine, food & family.
That’s all I need!
My mom and I have this little tradition. Every year, if we travel or see a Christmas ornement that we think we would like, we buy it to put it on our Christmas tree. So when we do our Christmas tree we re discover all our ornements and they all remind us of different places that we visited. It’s pretty cool and our Christmas tree is pretty unique! 🙂
We started this tradition when our first child was born. We give our kids 3 presents (1 from Mom & Dad, 1 from sibling, and 1 from Santa). This symbolizes how Jesus also received 3 gifts when he was born. It has also given us the opportunity to not “stress” about getting everything on their wish list since the kids know how many gifts they’ll have.
MY favorite tradition is to spend a lot of time with my family
My favorite christmas tradition is that we play with our family with water balloons, and them we all end up in the pool (we usually spend our holidays in warm weather).
I absolutely love the earrings you’re wearing in this post! So feminine and not too much, yet a beautiful statement piece to glam up every outfit (and makeup). I have three favourite traditions. The first one would be to write Christmas cards to all my beloved ones, who inspire and encourage me through the whole year. The second one would be to wrap presents while sipping a hot almond milk chocolate with mini marshmallows and watching Christmas movies. The one I am most looking forward to is a nice dinner or brunch with friends, to ring in the festive season and get all together to share the most beautiful memories of the year and tell each other what we’re thankful for.
Love,
Deborah Chloé
I really enjoy your posts about different things and the tips you give. Even though you have a successful career, it is amazing to still see you so grounded. I love how you use non-expensive items that many of us can also get our hands on! I actually really like your pop of colour in your eyeshadow 🙂

The first saturday in december we have our annual christmas party with friends which I love. It´s rather small, each of us invites one friend, we wrap gifts for charity and decorate different kinds of cookies. This is something I look forward to the whole year!
Kind wishes,
Léa
My family’s best holiday tradition is cooking altogether for Christmas dinner. It’s being quite difficult to do as our kitchen is small, however it’s sooo funny as my dad loves to make jokes, and we cook, laugh and talk throughout the process. My little brother loves to play with flour, as a result all the floors at home become white😂
My favorite holiday tradition is going someplace new every year. Being able to experience different parts of the world with my family is such a blessing and the greatest gift!
My favorite Christmas tradition is buying a real Christmas tree, and when they cut off the stump (for freshness) we save the stump and put the date, type of tree and a “theme” for that year’s Christmas.
It is a little bit hard for me to say what my favorite holiday tradition is because it is always different. I do not have any relatives here in the U.S. All of my aunts and uncles and cousins live in Korea, so for holidays I never get to see them because they are so far and it is so expensive to go there. It is hard to say what my favorite holiday tradition is because my boyfriend and I are long distance so some years I will spend it with my parents and other years with my boyfriend. If I were to choose a favorite holiday tradition overall it would be just enjoying our morning coffee together and baking sweets.
Fav holiday tradition is staying up late, wearing new jammies, drinking hot chocolate and watching “Elf”.
My favorite tradition: Christmas morning brunch with the family!!
My favourite holiday tradition is watching White Christmas with my sisters!! We always look forward to watching it together!!

I don’t have any holiday traditions. But if i’m Ever so lucky enough to start a beautiful family like yours, then maybe I will start some of my own

I really love you Chriselle
I’ve been following you for so long and I’m also very happy and excited for this giveaway.
The best holiday gift I’ve ever received was a bag of goodies, my mother used to buy me and my little brother.
Now that I’m older, I stopped receiving those gifts
Love you <3
My favorite holiday tradition is having a family photo-shoot and spend a good time together.
Your last post for 12 days of Chriselle really struck a chord with me. I’ve always been the type of person to have dreams as big as my mind could fathom yet these last few years I’ve felt so defeated and those dreams of mine somehow became just that… Dreams. I know it may seem silly but I feel like winning this computer would be the jumpstart I need to believe in myself again and know that anything I set my mind to is attainable, not just some wish. So I can get this show on the road as they say.
TO ANSWER YOUR QUESTION LOL

My favorite holiday tradition is definitely decorating the tree. It’s such a warm feeling inside during and after and sets the whole mood in the house for the holidays!
My favorite holiday tradition is going sledding in Park City with my family. We get all bundled up and sled for hours and then when we get so cold we cant feel our toes we head to a coffee shop and get hot chocolate. This year will be our 10th year doing it.
Those nails looks SO GOOD my god O.O I was actually looking for some inspiration for my Christmas themed nails ! Thank you !
My favorite tradition must be when we decorate the trees: I used to do it by myself but one year, I just got angry at my parents for not having any “real” Christmas traditions so I told them I was going to start them myself and this year, my mom tagged along ! We went my parents and I to buy a tree together (that was so awesome) and then my mom, sister and I decorated it together ! I am 22 and the one starting our traditions xD (better late than never… and someone gotta do it !!)

My favourite holiday tradition is to make my own Christmas cards for people I love! I usually cut out potatoes into many shapes, stamp them into different colours of paint, then onto the cards! It takes time and effort but seeing the reactions of my friends and family fills so much warmth and joy into my heart!
My favorite holiday tradition is baking sugar cookies while listening to Christmas music with my mom and grandma. Love spending time with family during such a warm time!
My favorite Holiday tradition is going to see the Chritmas lights down Candy Cane Lane by where I live. It’s fun to see which house has added or changed anything since the year before. I love taking my friend’s kids to go see them!

I bet even “Sheen” needs more sheen in her life.
Haha 😂 aside from picking the nail polish to match with our outfit on Christmas eve. My whole family never misses 9 consecutive midnight mass from Dec 16-24 and end it with a family dinner. Our mom usually wakes us up so early around 3am to prepare to go to church. She always remind us that if we complete it, our Christmas wish will be granted. And oh, there’s usually free food after. Hahaha 🤭
My favorite Holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree with my son because we go through all the ornaments he made all throughout his elementary school, and it brings back such sweet memories!

Decorating the tree and baking homemade cookies with my mom were my favorite holiday traditions! 🙂
My favorite holiday tradition is the yearly family vacation. This would be the time where I would meet all my cousins and hang out with them. We usually do a three day trip somewhere near and just catch up on stories and life:)
My favorite holiday tradition would be how we celebrate all day Christmas Eve and when it hit midnight we all opened presents. We’ve grown older so it’s harder to get together. But it feels nice having that love from family when we do.
My favourite holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree together with my family.
My family doesn’t really celebrate Christmas too much since we moved to California (we used to live in Arkansas) but we always make time to drive around our neighborhood to see the decorations on houses!

I love my friends gathering together to play Texas Poker
we each put in a little amount of money and the one who win the all will buy nice food for the group ~
My favorite holiday tradition is getting together with my family and having Christmas dinner. My parents are immigrants and never celebrated Christmas with the traditional home-cooked meal, or a huge holiday party but we would always make sure to have a meal together. Sometimes dinner would be at a Korean or Chinese restaurant because no other restaurants are open, or it’d even be eating in-n-out; nonetheless, I always will remember the holidays as a time of being thankful for another year of having each other.
My favorite holiday tradition would be exchanging gifts with my cousins. We started doing that when I was young and my aunt would spend days at the mall buying gifts for us. We would wrap gifts and write who it is to and then on Christmas Day, we would exchange and unwrap together. It is honestly the one day of the year that we all get together and have a good time.
My favorite tradition is decorating our tree with my dad 🌲
My favorite family tradition is to wear matching pajamas w my 4 sister’s while we open gifts on Christmas!!!

My favorite tradition is sharing a home cooked Korean meal with my family. Now that I am living on my own, I don’t get to eat my mom’s cooking anymore. I definitely need to learn how to make some dishes from her.
Hello! My favourite gift for Christmas was actually a card from my brother. It meant so much to me as I was living abroad for a period of time and I did not get to spend time with my family for Christmas as it was too costly to fly back home. My brother was a person with little words, thus as he wrote me a card with all his heartfelt words, I couldnt have been more thankful and touched. That was one Christmas that I will never forget! Family always comes first and I spent 2 hours facetiming with my family, eating my salad while they were having roasts for dinner but it was that moment where i felt that no matter what the distance, we are always together 🙂 This laptop will mean the world to me, I do really want to start a career on blogging and fashion styling just like you. You inspire me so much Chriselle and I hope one day, I can be successful just like how you are! Thank you so much and Happy early Christmas 🙂 <3
My favorite holiday tradition is honestly nothing. My family has work on holidays so we don’t eat or do anything. When I was young we had a small fake Christmas tree and we would put our gifts there but as we are growing up we don’t do those things. Everyone is busy doing their own thing like my mom and dad going to work and my brother in his room playing games.
My favorite holiday tradition is decorating christmas cookies with my cousins and grandma!
Love all the colors in this set. Essie always has great polishes.
My favorite holiday tradition is putting up the tree with my family on Black Friday! Such fond memories!
My favorite holiday tradition is going to the aquarium with my boyfriend before we join the rest of the family for dinner 🙂
It’s just us, the magnificent creatures, …. and a bunch of kids running around screaming.
My favorite holiday tradition is quality time with my family and annual Christmas tree lane walk.
My favorite family tradition is making sure every family member is present. It just isn’t Christmas without family.
My favorite Christmas tradition is shopping with my mom. For gifts or for food, it doesn’t matter, the stores or full of Christmas decor and songs, and it’s that one time of the year we really cherish together!
My favorite holiday tradition is gathering with family, eating korean food, and rewatching korean dramas. It may sound too “ordinary” but what I think makes it more fun and valuable is the warmth that my family gets from each other. Just relaxing and enjoying each other’s company. I think this year, we’ll be rewatching “Goblin” (last year was “You who came from the star”)
I would like to declare my new holiday tradition right here and now – beginning in 2017 I declare my new holiday tradition to be to either indulge in a new experience no matter how big or small or travel to a foreign place (not just out of the country) just somewhere that I have never been; even if it is just 5 miles away! #12DaysGiveaway

Definitely is the family gatherings and spreading joy and love to everyone!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, Chriselle! Thank you for starting December and ending the year with this lovely 12 Day of CHRIS-elle! ❤️ You have such a big heart and I believe your contributions to the organisations will go a long way. For myself, I volunteer my time at various events the school organises to engage the elderly or children. But you certainly inspire me to do more, and slowly but surely, I will make that desire to spread joy and love come true. Baby steps for now, but won’t be long!
May I say…. sleep sleep and sleep until the lunch time☺️☺️ and laying on my bed, just to be a lazy person hahaha😅
My favorite holiday tradition is to have potluck with my whole big family! There will be A LOT kind of food!!! From western, chinese, indian to even our malaysian food ♥️♥️♥️
You’ve inspired me to do my own little 12 days of give away because there’s nothing better than seeing the people you love with a smile on their faces. Cheers to spreading love and joy!
I love these colors! Perfect for the winter~ For this year, I can’t wait until my parents and I go look at all the Christmas decorated houses

My favorite Christmas tradition is watching old disney channel original movies with my sister
As you know Malaysia is a summer year around and tropical climate country so my family will mostly spend our holiday at another country to feel the atmosphere of the cozy holidays. Or else we will spend a night at “Genting” a most cozy place in Malaysia.

Our favourite holiday tradition would definitely have to be putting up the Christmas tree.
Putting up Christmas decorations!!
My favorite holiday tradition is the time spent with family at Holiday. Those time are precious.
Happy holidays, Chriselle
Every year, my family goes on a ski trip with a few close family friends. Starting from when I was too young to remember, we’ve had this same tradition. What I love about these trips is all the fun and joy with the people who are close to me. We always have a delicious potluck-style meal of fusion Chinese-American dishes. And then, we all chill out on the pull-out couch and watch a movie (usually action and horror, not a holiday one) in front of the fireplace. Of course, I can’t forget the skiing. It’s one of the greatest feelings to whiz down a mountain, surrounded by snow but still warm and bundled up with just my cheeks and nose reddened from the cold. #12DaysGiveaway
My favorite holiday tradition is preparing gifts to my family and friends. #12DaysGiveaway
I absolutely love Essie polish. It’s the only one I use right now!

My favorite holiday tradition is eating! Our family feasts and feasts, and my mom is an amazing cook so I get ready with some elastic waistbands to dig in!

I really enjoy putting up the Christmas tree every year.
My favorite holiday tradition is having a gathering with loved ones and playing board games! ♡

As basic as this may sound my favorite holiday tradition would have to be secret santa, ugly sweaters and a lot of family time!
I saw the For the Twill of It color when I went shopping over Thanksgiving break. I fell in love with the color, but I was focusing my shopping trip on gifts for other people so I didn’t pick it up. Now that I’m seeing it again, I’m thinking about picking it up as a little treat for myself!
The new holiday tradition we do now is celebrate with both sides of my family. It makes me feel grateful that my son gets to experience this because I’ve never had that when I was a kid. We go to my husbands parents house and bring my family over, and then have everyone eat breakfast and open their gifts! It’s interesting to see it as a tradition now. I never pictured myself having this kind of life, and I feel truly blessed and thankful.
I think my favorite holiday tradition its wraping all the gifts. I love making bows, and selecting wraping papers, making imposible to guess whats inside, decorating the gift bags, writting the identification stickers. I know its not realy a tradition, but its someting you do during the holidays, and I like it and its a must and it makes me happy.

I love this set! Im actually a nail junkie and certified nail technician (something I did while I was in school because I love nail artistry that much!). My favorite holiday memory is taking money walks with my family: which is essentially when we take long walks around the neighborhood/or state parks and had missions (such as catching falling leaves or finding animal footprints in the snow). Every time we complete a mission, my sister and I received a dollar, my parents could participate and things would get so competitive! We would come back from the walks exhausted but richer, so we didn’t mind the cold too much HAHA
Velitas! A tradition that is done on the 7th of December. Everyone lights candles as a reminder of hope
My favorite holiday tradition would be attending the christmas eve mass at church in the evening, then coming home to countdown to Christmas day. It’s not a typical american holiday tradition but once moving here to the US, my family and I decided to keep the tradition going 🙂

Hello 🙂
My favorite Christmas tradition is having dinner on Christmas Eve with my grandparents and then opening our presents together (in Germany we celebrate on the 24th).
Sadly, I only have one set of grandparents left. That is why I cherish the time I still have with grandma and grandpa even more.
This past year, I discovered a new holiday tradition. I got invited to my very first family white elephant gift exchange and it was an awesome experience! I come from a very small family and only immediate family members in the state are my parents. When I got invited to my boyfriend’s family’s gift exchange event, I got a little too excited! He comes from a big family and it was an awesome tradition to be a part of
My favourite holiday tradition would be the eve before Christmas where the whole family gathers for a scrumptious dinner and giving out presents to everyone!
My favorite holiday tradition is getting matching pjs with my family and baking cookies! Thx for a chance at this awesome giveaway ~
My favorite holiday tradition are our unconventional Christmas dinners. I’m vegan and my brother and mother are flexitatians, which means that a traditional Christmas dinner for all our diets is difficult to find. So we spice it up with either a curry which we cook together or we order sushi and eat it at home.
My favourite holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree with my siblings while my dad sits on the couch telling us for the 239473th time what a beautiful tree we have this year and my mom singing christmas songs💫
My favorite holiday tradition is snuggling in bed watching Home Alone with my husband.
My favorite holiday transition is that every year on December 1st we decorate our Christmas tree 🎄 and we bake Christmas cookies just for the smell ! I looove this 🌹
My favorite thing to do is make gingerbread houses and cookies . decorating is the best part ! Sometimes I’ll have a competition with my mom to see who’s turns out better ( its usually my mom)😂🎄❄
We have so many Christmas traditions. I am so glad that my children 👶🏾 look forward to Prepping for each tradition.
One of our traditions is opening up our stockings on Christmas Eve. A great nail polish 💅🏾 and lipstick 💄 is a great stocking stuffer for a few of my family members!
Hey Chriselle! I don’t have many traditions in my family, but we always get to see our grandparents, cousins, and other family we don’t normally see during the rest of the year, at Christmas. It’s a wonderful feeling to see the people you love at such a joyous time of year.
Every Christmas, we take a break and go on vacation!
Growing up in a Chinese household I never really had any Christmas tradition so my siblings and I started one where we’ll watch Christmas movies and eat TONS of junk food and make strong popcorn and do Christmas activities I never had the opportunity as a kid
I was born in France but my parents are Koreans so we don’t have strong holidays traditions but I think my favorite tradition is to spend every Christmas with my mum and sister and doing every time something different (going to an opera, going to a little trip, going to a ballet…).
Make up on fleek by the way haha, and thank you for the contest !
With my family, we don’t have a lot of holiday traditions… At least we didn’t think that we did!
Last year, we had a few family members from outside of our family and both of my sibs’ significant others staying for Christmas.
Generally one of our gifts from each other includes some type of new clothing item or piece. As soon as we open our gifts, we put on our new piece and wear it for the rest of Christmas morning – even if the tags are still on.
It’s funny when you don’t realize that you have a family Christmas tradition until someone comes in for the celebration and points it out to you!
my favorite holiday tradition is eating CRAP TON of food. esp korean food 🙂

My favorite Christmas tradition is putting up the tree with the entire family singing along to christmas music! Hope you’re having a wonderful December love! #12DaysGiveaway
I’ve been blessed to have a family. When my children 👶🏾 were born I wanted to create traditions that we could look forward to each year. It amazes me how much my little family looks forward to planning and prepping each activity.
1. Our Christmas 🎄 is up by Thanksgiving and we begin decorating on thanksgiving night. In the last few years we’ve added midnight 🕛 shopping to thanksgiving night.
2.Stockings hang by December 1st
And food drive/toy drive and feed the homeless
3. Matching PJs
4. Open Christmas stockings on Christmas Eve
5. Stuffed French toast Christmas morning and various frittatas
6. Ice skating ⛸ or skiing ⛷ the day after Christmas
Wow!!!…
I didn’t realize how much we did until this very moment. School activities have come to an end because 3 of my children are adults and the youngest is homeschooled.
Church activities has slowed too because we have relocated so much and haven’t found a church home.
My favorite holiday tradition is making marshmallow rice crispy treats with my family and doing a Christmas movie marathon!

My favorite holiday tradition was spending a day sharing food and clothes with poor people in the church. It was the great thing ever in my life. However, I am not able to contiue doing that favorite thing anymore since my family immigrated to USA. Hopefullt, I will find another favorite holiday tradition here in the U.S❤️
My favorite holiday tradition is on Thanksgiving, actually! My family has a strict “no utensil” rule for this tradition. We lay out banana leaves as our “plates” and eat all the food with our hands for a very messy yet obscure way of celebrating the holiday.
Favorite Holiday Tradition: Making Macaroons with my friend. Its our annual catch up tradition!!
In Mexico, the best part about Christmas is to cook a feast with Mom and Grandma for all the family. I believe that food connects generations in a way that nothing else does.
Every year I print out these templates that say ‘I am thankful for ____ because….’ and pass them out to all my family members. We each have to write about another person and at the end of the night I hang them up on the wall. It’s sweet to read what everyone wrote to each other and we all have to guess who wrote to us!
my favourite holiday tradition is tasting normal food after fast, after returning from church in the morning
My best holiday tradition is to dance with my grandma who has Alzheimer. This makes her happy
My favorite holiday tradition is listening to classic Christmas songs, drinking hot cocoa, and decorating the tree with my entire family!
Every Christmas Eve, I go to Latin Mass with my grandma. I love the tradition and ritual and pomp of this mass, and I love helping my grandma get “all dolled up” for it. When we get back home, my whole family sings Christmas hymns and carols around the tree – usually until one of my nieces starts to doze off. Then we exchange the gifts we got each other for Secret Santa, and “track” Santa’s progress before bed. When I was little, all of my sisters used to pile into my room for the night. We’d throw all our pillows and blankets on the ground, and have a little slumber party, all of us determined to somehow stay up long enough to see Santa. Now that we’re all grown, only the sisters who live out of town stay over for the night, and it’s my nieces turn to try and stay up to see Santa.
I’m from Spain and here although we know Santa Claus too, the three Wise Men are who bring presents to us. They bring them the night of January 5th and January 6th is holiday. The night of 5th we clean our shoes and put them under the Christmas tree and so the three Wise Men can know where to leave the presents for the different members of the family, we also leave some Christmas sweets and milk or a little liquor for your majesties because they are doing a big journey and we don’t forget the camels (because they ride camels) and we leave them water.
After that we eat Roscón de Reyes (a typical cake) with hot chocolate.
This is my favourite Christmas tradition and I enjoy it since I am a kid.
My favorite holiday tradition is cooking together with the family with some cheezy Christmass music on the background! X
My favourite tradition in my household is when my Grandfather used to “be Santa Claus” every Christmas morning. Every year (well into my adulthood too) we would wake up very early, still in our PJ’s, sit by the tree, while my Grandfather would pick presents from underneath the tree and gift them to each of us one by one. He would put on his best Santa Claus voice. 🙂
My favorite tradition is having a bake-a-thon. We all bake our favorite dessert and share it with each other. Soo we have a great time and good to have some yummy eats! Haha

I was born in Stockholm, Sweden and have Swedish family on one side and Jamaican family on the other side. Most of my extended family is Swedish however and we always have very Scandinavian food for the holidays. Even down to our holiday decor, there are Swedish traditions rooted in everything. I love that Christmas doesn’t feel like Christmas without Swedish smells in the home and Swedish music playing. God Jul! <3

I’m not sure if I have already commented but my favorite holiday traditions are movie nights with hot chocolate with my family. We would usually spend all day watching Christmas movies or playing Christmas music as we baked cookies and then the whole family would gather on the couches with hot chocolate and buttered crackers. Even those were “cheap” snacks, they were the ones that always meant the most to me because I shared them with my family.
My favorite holiday tradition is listening to my grandmother read everyone The Night Before Christmas. I love it because I look around and see all the little kids enchanted by the words coming out of her mouth and it’s amazing to get to listen to her. As we get older, so does she, so it’s something special that we don’t have many years left of.
Getting a christmas tree and waking up to the smell of the pine needles!
Hi, I dont have a holiday tradition. My family doesn’t really celebrate anything besides Chinese New Year! I will be working for the holidays this year.

My favorite Christmas tradition has to be buying ornaments. Every year my mom would take my brother and I to the store and as a Christmas present she would get us each an ornament (or if we chose a cheap one, two). It was so fun to pick out our own special ornaments (no plain colored ornaments but ones like a sparkly snowflake or some sort of animal) and now they all fill up our Christmas tree every year. Also props to my younger self. I haven’t broken a single ornament over the years.

My favorite tradition is the 24th December. In my city, we use to go out in the morning with friends and get “a little” drunk. We chill a lot, everyone is out so you meet lots of people (I live in a small city). Then, when the evening arrives we have the Christmas Eve’s dinner with our family. Having family conversations after having drunk for the entire day is not the best but lots of fun actually 😂
I love the Winter from beginning. Most people only like this time because oft Christmas but for me it’s THE TIME oft the YEAR I like most – I can drink my Ginger tea, eating cookies without thinking about my weight (for what else do wie habe oversized pullovers, Hoodies etc.?) and reading a book without losing my Nervs (except of buying presents). I also can take my time to make my nails! So for me it’s the perfect season💕
My favorite Christmas tradition is to buy gifts at the last minute and every year I want to break the tradition, but I can’t… 😅#12DaysGiveaway
My favourite holiday tradition is having Christmas dinner with not only my immediate family but also extended family and close friends who may not have any family in town to spend it with! And, of course, movie marathons with my sister, usually on Christmas Eve (:
Baking “customized” gingerbread people for the friends and family who receive them, so…the gingerbread man holding a soccer ball for my friend’s soccer playing kid, and so on…they can get quite fun and creative. 😉
Happy Holidays to all!

My favorite tradition, other than gingerbread house making, was going to the Christmas eve church service then going to a family friend’s Christmas party immediately afterwards. There’s a certain comfort in the ritual of the service and the party allows everyone to relax and have fun.

Hi Chriselle! I absolutely love the classic look of pearls with a little modern twist in length! ❤️ My favorite family tradition would have to be our day-after-Thanksgiving trip to the mountains to cut down a Christmas tree. Once the tree is secured to the top of the suburban, we’d eat our picnic, then spend the rest of the day sledding down the old logging roads late into the night until we were under the moonlight. The day was followed by hot cocoa and a change of socks for the ride home. 🎄🎄🎄
Hi Chriselle,
MY favorite holiday tradition is…TBD! Before the birth of my child, I’ve never really been into the holiday season but since she was born a year ago, I have started making an effort to decorate for the holidays at home. This year, I think we want to go ice skating or walk around New York city to glare at all the beautiful Christmas trees and department store windows. This is something the city makes an effort to do every year and it would be easy for us to be part of it.

My favourite holiday tradition is having a feast with the family on Christmas eve and having another feast from the leftovers the next morning. Family time is precious and it’s all (plus the good food) that matters.
P.s. I’ve never won anything and this is the first Christmas am not spending with family. 🙁 I would be happy to win even just the cutlery set in the silver egg alone. 🙂
My family only started celebrating Christmas last year (Because my sister got married and we were invited to her husband family’s christmas party) So, we started our new tradition – feast on Christmas Day. Can’t wait for the upcoming one! ☺️
My favorite holiday tradition is definitely spending Christmas morning unwrapping gifts with my family <3
Favorite holiday tradition is by far to marathon all 8 Harry Potter movies!
A favorite holiday tradition is to walk along 5th Avenue at night with friends, admiring all the festive, holiday store windows!
Happy Holidays to all!

Every holiday, my family are the first ones in line at the grocery store to buy the freshest and hottest powdered doughnuts. We all then sit around the table after lighting our menorah eat our delicious donuts celebrating Chanukah! It’s the best tradition ever!
I’ve gotten my family to do face masks with me over the holidays 🙂 We have uncles and aunts, cousins all together with sheet masks after a big family dinner. It’s hilarious.
My favorite and only holiday tradition is spending an entire day with my family. There’s always an excess amount of food both a traditional Christmas feast and Vietnamese food, it’s so nice having everyone together and exchanging gifts on full bellies!
This year, I won’t be able to participate in my families traditions since I’ll be spending it with my fiancé’s family! So I’m excited to incorporate new traditions!
A Holiday tradition that I plan to start this year is having a glass of wine the morning of Xmas Cheers!! #12DaysGiveaway
Receiving presents of course!!! Haha and gathering with friends and family
My mom has a large collection of Menorahs. Instead of Christmas lights we get to light all of the menorahs up on Hanukkah. We always place bets on which candle will last the longest.
Strolling the Christmas market with my family!
Those nail polish are so cute but to be honest, it was the earrings that caught my eye first!
My favourite holiday tradition will have to be going out to town with my family and watching the Christmas lights! That and putting up the Christmas tree has always been my favourite memories and time spent together!
My favorite holiday tradition is one my family and I have been doing since I can remember. No matter where we are in the world, we get on the phone or in person and sing the song the 12 Days of Christmas. We do a random draw before to see who sings which day and the coveted spot is always the 5 Golden Rings line.
X
My favorite tradition for a while was going to see the Nutcracker ballet with my family. Another one was the Parade of Lights on Black Friday night. It really helped put everyone in the spirit of the holidays.
My favorite Christmas tradition is having my dads pho on Christmas and playing card games with the family.
The look of surprise and pure glee of opening gifts from my family members and friends on the day of Christmas brings enjoyment to me each year. Each year gets more sentimental and celebrating my favorite holiday with my loved ones is absolutely the best feeling in the all world!!
Love the nails! I have stubby fingers, so I’m always afraid to put polish on. Might highlight their stubbiness (if that is a word.).
My favorite holiday tradition is going to get the Christmas Tree, since it was usually something my dad and I did/do together.
I love putting up Christmas decorations i think that’s actually the most funny part of Christmas
My family is multi-cultural and multi-religious; it’s like the United Nations up in our house. Our traditions reflect and celebrate that. On Christmas Eve we celebrate with my boyfriend’s family by making tamales together and then of course enjoying the ‘fruits of our labor’ by eating until we’re tamale wasted. Then we celebrate Christmas Day at my Dad’s house where we mesh Chanukah and Christmas together, by cooking latkes ( potato pancakes) and lighting the Menorah, followed by stockings we fill with gag gifts and unwrapping presents under the tree. I love being able to celebrate the different cultures and religions that have helped shape me and the simple beauty of family and good food.
My favorite holiday tradition is buying and decorating my christmas tree! The smell of pine also brings me lots of joy too.
Believe it or not, I’ve never tried Essie nail polish. It’s a brand I have always wanted to try but it’s one that I never reach for. I love their colors though. I put it down on my Christmas list, so maybe I’ll find one in my stocking this year!

In our family, everyone would all meet up at my aunt’s house and have a huge Christmas Party! It’s so exciting because we don’t see each other often due to everyone’s busy schedule. Therefore, I look forward to Christmas Day, because we can spend some quality time with my family.
My favourite Christmas tradition is when my mom’s side of the family get together for a meal at my aunt’s home. There will be lots of food, drinks and Christmas songs blaring through the stereo. Did I mention that my mom is the 14th child (same mom & Dad as her siblings) in the family? You can imagine how chaotic it gets with all of us including my cousins cramp in a tiny little home!

Love the essie nial polishes <3 my favorite tradition has to be the fact that every year my grandmother makes her special food. The thing is I never liked the food (sausages, sauerkraut, sauce, potatoes) but the dish means so much to her that I eat it anyway.

Everyday you put me to shame. I feel like a frumpy mummy in comparison. Yet, it is so hard to dislike you as underneath all those clothes, makeup, and all the nice things, you seem super nice. These Essie nails are fierce. Not sure if I can carry them off as I tend to stick to Ballet Slippers. BTW, I loved that Ballet Essie collection video you did … If only Chloe was in it, that would be everything!
My favorite holiday tradition is watching Christmas movies!! My husband and I don’t live anywhere close to either of our families so we’re always traveling for Christmas. That makes it difficult to make our house super festive, but you can watch Christmas movies anywhere!

Unrelated to the nail polish (though that is rocking too) but I love the dangly ball earrings!
My fave holiday traditions are mostly about food haha I’m from New Mexico and we have lots of traditions like tamales, posole, biscochitos and more! Of course the best part is the community aspect we have so many local events around where we get to meet with family and neighbors and eat the yummy food! There are so many occasions like lighting of different streets (when traditional Christmas decorations like farolitos the candles in paper bags are lit and everyone goes to different businesses for food), Posadas (reenacting Mary and Joseph looking for shelter, again involving going around and getting lots of food!), and especially Christmas Eve when we go to the pueblo and celebrate with big bonfires called luminarias and again, food. There really is nothing like Christmas in northern New Mexico.
That nail colours😍
Not really a tradition, but in holiday season I can’t get enough to listen Christmas songs and watch Christmas movies I used to when I was child ^^ .

Your topknot looks so fabulous!
Every holiday season, me and my family used to always go to Bryant Park in NYC for a day of skating and enjoying the holiday village shops, while roaming around and window-shopping and seeing the decorations at rockefeller. It’s always been the best way to tie in our city with our time off and really get a family activity in.
xx
My mom and I have been making mandoo in December ever since I was a little girl for the upcoming Korean New Year Celebrations. She would always tell me that if I made pretty mandoo then I would have pretty daughters. Well now I make mandoos with my sons right when Christmas break starts and while I don’t have any daughters I tell my sons the same thing when they help me make them. But as boys will be boys my sons like to make bomb style mandoo and weird shaped ones are they’re favorite.

My favorite Christmas tradition is decorating the house. My parents are artists so they taught us how to make our own Christmas decorations. My favorite holiday tradition is reading the story of Jesus’ birth from the passage of Luke with my family before opening gifts. 🙂
Hellllloooooo Chriselle & December!! My holiday tradition is finding an ornament or two that would represent something pretty special from that year. I got engaged last year so I found an ornament that represented NYC since my fiancé proposed to me at Highline Park (my fave place in Manhattan). This year I found a gold diamond piñata shaped ornament because at my bachelorette, my sweet girlfriends gave me the exact gold diamond piñata but in a larger form!!! I love decorating my Xmas tree and it’s more meaningful when I have ornaments that represent something every year. Thanks for reading! Xo, April

My favourite holiday tradition is seeing all my friends – I moved away from my hometown shortly after graduating, two time zones away. It gets lonely more often than I’d like to admit, so when I see them again it’s as if my soul feels lighter and becomes more vibrant
Most of my siblings are still pretty young, so Christmas still has lots of magic in it at my parents house. My favorite holiday tradition is waiting upstairs with all of my siblings for our parents to tell us that we can run downstairs and see all the presents on Christmas morning. Even though I’m an adult and married now, I’m very excited to bring my husband in on this tradition that always makes me feel like a kid again.
I’m obsessed with your blog! Thanks for always keeping me update and being so open with your followers. Xoxo
I don’t have any Christmas tradition but it’ll be our baby’s very first Christmas! So excited to start a little tradition of our own 🙂
Omg… Essie nail polish is amazinggg ❤️❤️❤️
So glam yet so chic! You’ve always been an inspiration to me ❤️
My favorite tradition has to be putting up our Christmas tree! I love unwrapping my childhood ornaments from storage and remembering stories with my family– so much nostalgia!
Decorating the Christmas tree with my family!! Need to try the essie mini kits!!
That is ONE gorgeous nail polish color, babe! I love how you can see multiple colors off of it from just one bottle – that’s amazing! My favorite holiday tradition is playing board games with friends on Friday nights 🙂

Omg! Essie nail polish kits for Christmas would be just lovely!!
Cute and fashion in one little packet 😀
My favorite holiday tradition is picking out gifts for my family and friends. It’s so fun to pick out a personalized gift for each person- especially when you remember little comments about things they need or want; their excitement and surprise as they realize you remembered the smallest details is always so joyous.
My favorite holiday tradition is to buy gifts for my family. Sometimes difficult to think of what to get them, but seeing happiness in their face makes it all worth it.
Love the Christmas tree
Putting up the Christmas tree with my little girls. They have already started remembering how we received some of the ornaments and talking about their favorite ones (which changes from year to year).
My favorite holiday tradition is to play board games with the fam
My favorite holiday tradition would be going on a trip with my family. As long as I am with them for a while, I am so happy and feel like I am recharging my energy as I am studying abroad far away from my home even though they often visit me. Also, I love it when we made barbecues in the House yard with all the relatives during this holiday. It’s good to catch up with cousins too.
My favourite holiday tradition is getting together with my best girlfriends who are total boss babes! We always are busy so being able to set a day where we can all celebrate the holidays together and reminisce on all the fun moments we had during the year. We would enjoy wine, treats and play secret santa together. Coming together with good company makes me excited for the holidays and wouldn’t have it any other way.
Love the polish! Very fun…. Favorite tradition – this is tough – I have many…. Decorating the tree with my family while listening to Christmas compilations and singing along is probably number one. Easily a close second is baking cookies with my girls, and eating all the broken ones that come out of the oven. It’s amazing how many imperfect cookies we bake!😉
xoxo
Love the eay you think about us, and cool idea of making such a glam photoshoot. Xoxox
My favorite tradition is the gifts!
Putting up the Christmas tree and decorating it with my daughters.
My family and I had the tradition to visit korea for the past 2 years in the holiday season! We live in Mexico city so there is no snow and going to korea with the kids is the best thing ever!
You make me want to be a better mom/woman every single day!
Love you and your beautiful family!!
My favorite holiday tradition is buy a gift for a needy child and see his/her pure smile. All my family do that for 50 years. It’s amazing see how little things can chance persons forever.
Kisses!
My favorite holiday tradition is spending Christmas with my extended family! As I’ve grown older, I’ve realized how important family is, and even though my family isn’t the most picture-perfect or wealthy or anything like that, I feel incredibly blessed that my family members and I have one another 🙂
For the holidays, me and my 6 best girl friends spend a weekend together in NYC. We do secret santa, get matching pajamas, favorite things gifts for each other, and matching fuzzy socks! In the morning we’ll all make an innovative brunch together drinking some of our favorite classics!
Dear Chriselle!
First of all you’re probably the first person I’ve seen who can pull off purple and green so well. The only other people I’ve seen in purple/green are evil disney step-mothers.
Now, my favorite holiday tradition is so take care of myself and my family! I am so busy year around so I don’t get to spend time with my family as much as I would like to and absolutely no time for myself. I also bake a lot of yummy goods around the holidays!
Xoxo,
SUMIYA!
Stopped painting my nails during my second pregnancy but now that I’m 1 month postpartum I can’t wait to start again. And I always use Essie~
Hey chriselle this is soon cool and fun !!!! Thank you so much for the opportunity ❣ holiday tradition including family and close friends 😍
My favorite holiday tradition is making tamales with my family. So many different kinds and all so delicious!
I still love to play secret Santa with the family and leave clues and little gifts until Christmas day!
Hi Chriselle!
That color is so perfect for the holiday season! Also I love your eyeshadow. Purple is my school’s colors so I will definitely try this look for an upcoming formal.
Each Thanksgiving, everyone makes their favorite recipe of the year and after saying what we are thankful for; we go to my mothers house to put up the Christmas tree together.
I love Christmas where everywhere is red and green. It’s warmth my heart ❣
Absolutely love the nail polish color you chose and the purple eyeshadow. Super glam and perfect to stand out during the holidays 😀
That polish is banging!
Love your Holiday Glam look! December 1 is my 31st birthday! Maybe my birthday charm will work! We celebrate Hanukkah which is in December as well. Love the holiday tradition of family gatherings filled with lots of kids, food and laughter!!
My fav holiday tradition is decorating the house/tree and reuniting with my siblings!
My best Christmas Family tradition is to sit at home with my Family and talk. We talk for hours and hours not realizing that the time has passed :p Being from India, over here people don’t quite celebrate much for Christmas. But as I studied in a Convent School, Christmas is like any other major celebration for me and my Family.
PS – You were THE inspiration for starting my blog. It is still under construction but it’s soon gonna be live.
I just wanted to put that in there. So that you know how important your blog has been not only for you and your team but as an inspiration to others as well.
Love from India!
XO, Parishi
I looooove Christmas so much. It’s my favorite holiday. Every year I like to give presents to my family while sitting and laughing together beside the Christmas tree. We also eat Chinese food too, our own little touch to Christmas.
Love all the colors!!! Thank you so much for the opportunity!
So festive! Love this! My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree with my family when I go home to visit AND making all our favorite cookies with my mom. xoxo
My fav holiday tradition is making our special chicken ragout for christmas morning with the fam. And after eating it playing board games the whole day. We do this every year and I love it!! Best time of the year ❤️
And just wanna say I loooove these pictures of you!
Growing up my parents were workaholics… many they had no choice, raising two kids and working in Korean restaurant for 12 hrs a day.
We never celebrated holiday not because we didn’t want to but they had no choice and I remember one year they tried to celebrate it became really awkward… then as I grew up.. Christmas meant alcohol.
Now with two beautiful kids, we really try our best to keep the holiday spirits. It was a bit challenging in the beginning because I didn’t know where and how to start but as I celebrate Christmas each year with my loved ones my heart really fills with tear, joy, love and blessing… I tear because I don’t want my kids to have to same feeling as I did, my heart is filled with love because of my kids and it’s a blessing because now my parents are celebrating Christmas with us! I pray and hope that this moment of joy and memory will never stop!
My favorite holiday tradition is without a doubt decorating the tree the day after Thanksgiving 🎄
Being a Hindu, my holidays involve different festivals. Tihar(for Nepal as diwali for India) is one of my favorite holidays. It lasts for 5 days and the 5th day is undoubtedly the most awaited of all days. It resembles Christmas in ways except for the fact that we decorate our houses with different lights and play deusi/bhailo instead of Christmas carol. The fifth day is called “Bhai-tika”, “bhai” means brother. On this day, all sister fast for their brother’s long health and well being for half of their day until they break their fasts by putting on colored tika of seven colors on their forehead and putting on garlands made of “globe amaranth” and serving them delicacies especially the “selroti” which is like a deep fried sweet rice doughnut. In return, the brothers provide gifts/money to their sisters and respectfully touch their sisters’ feet with their heads. This is my favorite holiday tradition.
Sending you love from Nepal, Chriselle! Happy holidays!
My favorite holiday tradition is picking out a tree and decorating it while listening to Christmas music. This year was extra special because our 3 year old helped us.
Love love love! Who doesn’t love Christmas! My favourite tradition has to be our Family Christmas Dinner, our family lives in so many different places that it’s likely to be the only time in a year we can all be together for some good quality time. We are Greek so Christmas looks a little different for us, but the food my Grandmother makes is incredible and always a highlight!
Elle x
My favorite tradition is definitely putting up our Christmas tree. We have this tacky but kinda cute artificial Christmas tree that’s layered with fake snow and putting up is the biggest hassle cause my mom is a clean freak. Whenever we put it up my mom cause crazy cleaning the house, every couple of minutes she’s just vacuuming the floors trying to get all the fake snow from spreading to other rooms haha
Those colors are giving me life! Spending time with my family and friends are one of the best things about the holidays. My favorite holiday tradition is baking and decorating cookies with my family.
My favorite holiday tradition is getting in the car and driving around to different neighborhoods looking at Christmas lights while listening to Christmas music.
I love the polish colors!
Love all the Essie nail polish colors in the holiday mini set! I swear Chriselle you can pull off any color/trend they all look great on you! And it’s so great that you folks are donating Baby2Baby always so nice to give back during the holidays to those less fortunate. Growing up with a single parent, mom was always working on Christmas. So my favorite holiday tradition would be pre-Xmas, picking out our tree together and decorating it while sipping on hot chocolate and listening to Christmas songs. Till this day she still works on Christmas (night shift), so now that I’m older I always stop by her working place with some hot food and a little Christmas cheer 🙂 sharing time with loved ones is the best way to spend the holidays!
Love the nail polish color you’re wearing!
My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the tree and putting on a new ornament every year ❤️
I love to just spend time with my family. I am away at college and to just be home for the holidays is the best thing I could ever want
Loving the metallic colors! My favorite holiday tradition is going to see the Chinese New Year lantern festival in my city. It definitely is earlier than expected but I sometimes feel like the lanterns are ever prettier than ornaments 🙂 #12DaysGiveaway
Christmas is my favorite holiday! My favorite holiday tradition is setting up all the Christmas decorations – from the tree, the lights, the garlands, stockings, and lasers. Teehee! It’s great family time and it’s exciting to know Christmas is coming up! Love the look!
I love the idea of gift exchange but my family do not have such tradition when I was younger. So I’ll used parts of my pocket money to buy a bunch of snacks and wrapped them with newspaper ( yes newspaper! Hahaha). Sometimes I organosed lucky draw and made sure everyone had similar amout of snacks ( now that I think back why do I even want to do lucky draw? Hrmmm). One thing never change is my love to Christmas. My mum’s birthday falls on Christmas day and I love how mall going to spend on decoration for Christmas and people choose organising gift exchange christmas dinner. Its like the whole world celebrating for my mum (or anyone who having the same birth date). The whole December is so magical! 😍
Happy day to you and your team Chriselle
I love the polish! My favorite holiday tradition is Christmas Eve with my family, we each open one small gift before the big holiday and it’s just such a nice evening to spend together and do our little thing.
Hi Chriselle. I love the new colors by Essie!!! They have the best polish and it long lasting and doesn’t chip. My favorite holiday tradition is spending time with my family. And every year we do secret Santa and exchange gifts on Christmas Eve, while we bake all desserts for dinner on Christmas Day!!!! Making homemade egg nog also.😍
That nail polish is absolutely gorgeous!!
My favorite holiday tradition is building the gingerbread house with my family! (and eating about 3 pounds of candy along the way…)
My favourite tradition is settupjng the Christmas tree with my family! I’ve continued this tradition since I’ve moved out! It brings me so much joy!!
I love these bold colors it is absolutely wearable and unique
well my fave tradition is staying up late during christmas eve with my family of course opening gifts its not a lot but its the smile on my folks faces that counts.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS CHRISELLE not only that you give back but most importantly thankful for your continues effort inspiring us everyday .
I love going to craft fairs and go to all the outdoor winter activities like Christmas light watching, and baking cookies during the holidays
L o v e the festive Essie hues this season.
Just enough spice to elevate your holiday outfit.
“For the thrill of it” is a fun & sexy nail color!
Love how it compliments many skin complexions due to how the sheen changes color in the light.
The purple and teal tones specifically have a great shimmer and catch your eye! 🎇
Hey Chriselle, one of our family traditions is to give to those in need for this month. Christmas time can be really difficult on everyone & the joy we get from helping those in need is honestly the best feeling in the whole world! We’ve been doing this for years & im hoping to pass it down onto the next generation 🙂
Xoxo
Aimen
Oh my gosh, Chriselle, love the metallic nail polish and how it matches your eyeshadow! Perfect for the festive season 😍❄️
I Love Essie and the color you’re wearing is Stunning! My favorite holiday tradition is going Back to my family to set up the Christmas tree while listening to Christmas songs 😊
Chriselle,
For Christmas this year, I just want to spend some quality time with my sister who’s currently away for college. I also hope to hear back with an admission to the graduate program I’ve applied for.
Thanks,
Valery
PS: You and your family are so cute!
I have been away from home for the past five years. I have been shopping for presents for my family online every year around Christmas and ship them home. Then I call them to make sure they got it and see if they liked it 🙂
Hi Chriselle!
Thanks for this opportunity for us to participate a 12 days challenge😊 this is actually fun! My traditional way of spending Christmas is with my loved ones. Love sipping egg nog with a good brandy at night and this is something I have been repeating every year! Feels cozy!
I always love your photos
My favorite Christmas tradition is drinking hot chocolate while watching Christmas movies 😳😳😳
Hi Chriselle, this is a great read 🙂 So my favorite holiday traditions are every Christmas day, my best friends (3 people, including me) and I would exchange gifts under the Christmas tree. We would usually buy multiple random gifts and give it to each other as a surprise. I normally don’t celebrate the Holidays with my family because they don’t believe in Christmas, but for me, I usually go to church by myself in the morning, then head over to my best friend’s house 🙂
Hi Chriselle and team! Happy holidays! My favorite holiday tradition is to spend quality time with my family, from yummy meals to new experiences, love spending every moment together with the fam!
Hi Chriselle,
Talking about traditions, it used to be having warm tea or hot water with jaggery and sitting nearby the fire with the family.. singing carol songs.
Eversince i moved to australia, its been drinking chiled beer by the pool, with barbecue for the lunch. I do miss the wintery feeling of christmas. Christmas doesnot feel like christmas without Winter.
After my grandparents passed away my Mother and I moved to the Virgin islands (St. Thomas). I was 11 at the time. As an only child raised by just my Mother, her and I had a tradition that after we exchanged 🎁gifts in the morning and I helped her prep Christmas dinner, we would get fresh and clean put on a new pair of pajamas and watch 🎄 movies together all day while eating a fabulous meal (as my Mom is an amazing cook). Just the two of us! It’s really the little things that make you feel blessed in life. Cherish them!
Happy Holidays 🎇
My favorite tradition has always been making Arancini, Italian rice balls, with my moms side of the family. It’s a recipe that has been used from my grandfathers side of the family and they are the best ones i have ever tasted. I love traditions and being able to do this every year and be with my family makes it even more special!
My favorite holiday tradition is doing the advent calendar with my kiddos and making gingerbread houses- so many great memories!
My favourite holiday tradition from home is completing the “Simbang Gabi”! This tradition starts on the 16th of December of each year where you have to wake up very early in the morning (4 AM) to attend the holy mass at church. You have to make a wish during the very first mass and you have to continue attending the Early Mass until Christmas Eve. When you complete 9 days of the “simbang gabi”, our elders told us our wish will come true. 😊😁 it is a struggle to get up early for mass back then but meeting your friends and then seeing your crush play at the band during the masses was really fun! Ah youth!!! And on the last day of Christmas eve mass we would be lighting up fireworks as we all head home! 🤗🤗🤗
Love Essie! I recently threw out all my nail polish during my move, so would love to restock my collection!
My favorite tradition would be drinking warm chocolate milk, a very classic one. However for some reason during the cold winter days I tend to crave for sweet and warm foods, which I usually both never consume (exept for chocolate haha). #12DaysGiveaway
We dont really have a tradition but we look forward to have some family and friends catch up time due to busy and hectic schedules. Its nice to take a break from early morning school runs and not having ro wake up so early… so defo a xmas stress free break to spend time with the children and family. X
My favourite Christmas tradition is my family always buys our Christmas tree on the 1st December from a local farm and each year we get another bauble to put on the tree. Problem is : we’re running out of space on the tree!
My favorite holiday tradition is baking with my family and decorating our Christmas tree!
It’s not a traditional tradition 🙂 it’s a family one, and to be honest, I like these ones better. So, what i like most during the holidays in my family, is that awkard moment when we all finished dinner, sit around the table chit-chatting, and, even though we all know what’s going to happen next, we pretend we don’t. And one by one, we dissapear from the table, drop our presents under the tree (that is strategiclly placed in a different room) and quietly return to the table. At some point, one of us (when we know we actually all finished our rounds) plays the surprised kid while pretending to go to the bathroom: ‘Oh my gosh, Santa was here’ :))) From that point on, we gather around the Christmas tree, pick up our presents, and open them up, one by one, each person at a time – as it always comes with a ‘show’ no matter what’s insided those boxes. Oh God, I LOVE CHROSTMAS! ❤
Seeing the holiday lights at meadowlark park! 😍
My favorite holiday tradition in Poland is going from house to house dressed as an angel, or any kind of holy person, and signing Christmas Carols. It’s so beautiful to see people open doors of their houses and listen to such 2 minute performance. I miss it much here in the US.
i would like the boldness to pull these colors off!
loving the look!
My favorite tradition is to be back home with family and exchange gifts ❤️❤️
My favorite holiday tradition is being home with family, eating my favorite Vietnamese dishes and meeting up with my childhood friends at our favorite Korean restaurant and karaoking after
My favorite holiday tradition is going home and eating all my the yummy food my parents make! <3
Hi Chriselle and the CINC team!
My favorite holiday tradition is staying up all night on Christmas Eve with my family! We’ll go to Christmas Mass, watch Christmas movies, play games, and eat crabs and lobsters and all our favorite Filipino foods. At midnight, my mom would put on a Santa hat and pass presents. As kids, my cousins (there’s a lot of us!) and I would tear up all the wrapping paper and start playing with our new toys. Now that we’re older, we watch the little ones and feel so much joy and warmth as we watch the excitement on their faces.
i love these colors on you!
Hi Chriselle! My holiday tradition is getting the family together and watching a movie until it hits 12 pm on the 24th.
My favorite holiday tradition is opening gifts with everyone after coming home from a midnight mass. It’s fun to see what everyone received for Christmas and their exciting and happy faces. Also the food 🙂
My favorite holiday tradition is baking cookies with my family and putting up all the decorations! I hope you have a happy holiday season!
I just love how interactive your blog is and how you love to connect with your readers! Thanks for the giveaway!
My favorite holiday tradition is definitely setting up the Christmas tree with my parents! I remember growing up as a kid in Seattle, my parents were definitely not that familiar with the whole concept of Christmas, since they were both born and raised in Korea. But my dad wanted to make me feel more at home in our new house and I didn’t know that many other children my age in my neighborhood, so he got our family a Christmas tree which was always so much fun to decorate, and the tree ended up lasting us for more than 5 years! It just made me happy to see all the sparkles and splashes of color lighting up our small but cozy home, even if there weren’t any presents underneath it. We’ve kept up the tradition since then even though my parents are always “too lazy” to take out the tree because I insist that we continue it, haha!
Our family’s favourite Christmas tradition is our Christmas day picnic lunch at the beach. Kiwi style.
Xo, Jesicka
Nothing like family being all together!!!
Chris💕 you are ao sweet and amazing!!!!
My favorite holiday tradition is being reunited with my family❤️ We dont live on the same state so its the best to come to my mom’s home and share quality time with her. One of our traditions is in New Years Eve, at 12 we do so many things: we jump on our chairs so bad luck doesnt catch us, we hug each other and wish happy new year, then we eat 12 grapes and you make a wish for every grape and after have 2 spoons of lentil soup for prosperity. Then we go outside with a luggage which is supposed to bring you luck to travel on the new year! All of these things are so fun and emotional !!!! LOVEEEE the holidays!!!!!
I know this about the nail polish but ugh, I love that eye shadow that you’re wearing! So my favorite holiday tradition is reeeeeeeeeeally really random. I always wrap gifts and watch Nick + Jessica’s Newlyweds DVDs while drinking hot cocoa, lol. Not sure why these things go together to me but I’ve done it for the last few years, lol/.
That is so cool, furthermore that you are making a “give back to your community” – seriously, I’m a fan ! You and your amazing team – you put up a standard everyone should follow 🙌 !
Forgot my favorite holiday tradition is making a fire on my childhood home with a parents, cozying up with a drink and sharing stories. Laid back, relaxing and full of love.
Favorite “tradition” is when the whole family, on evening before Christmas, sits it the decorated living room and drinks hot tea or milk ❤️
Ugh that polish!!!! Love a good edgy nail color to go with all the red / white / silver and gold this time of year!!!!
Baking with my mother ❤️
So gorgeous!!
I don’t have a particularly favorite tradition, but I love having all my family members over for Christmas dinner. The house smells delicious and warm and it’s always a good time.
We spend together as a family.
My favorite Holliday tradition is picking up presents for my beloved. I’m always waiting to see their reaction – it’s The best thing for my heart)
xxx
My favorite holiday tradition is my family gathering around the tree on Christmas morning, opening presents from youngest to oldest and then sitting down to have a warm homemade breakfast together.
I love this nail color and I love how your eyeliner plays on the different colors of the polish! Christmas is the only time of the year that I can manage not to destroy my nail polish since my job involves a lot of carpentry, but I always go for a pearly shade with a red or green pattern for the holiday.
My favorite holiday tradition is Christmas Eve Dinner at my uncle’s house before/during/after church. We can never agree on which service to go to, so the party goes on while small groups step out to go to their preferred service.
The best and my favourite tradition during the holidays is baking delicious Christmas cookies for my family and go for a long walk with them in the woods enjoying a frozen winter wonderland outside. There is nothing better than the warming feeling when you get from the cold outside into your warm and cozy house that’s smells wonderful and delicious. After this long walk we all sit together with a cup of warming tea enjoying the cookies while talking and laughing about our lives …
My favourite holiday tradition is buying gifts for my loved ones! I always buy them socks and many many more lovely things. I loveee seeing their excited faces more than anything else in this world!
Hope you’ll buy some socks for CloClo and Alen this Christmas, it’s just a beautiful family tradition!
Love youuu xx
My favorite holiday tradition :
On Christmas, we choose one of our pot belly uncles to be the fake Santa . It is usually the uncle who smell like cigarettes and has a rough five o clock shadow . That way underneath his fake beard, you can feel his cactus – like bristles scrape against your face when he kisses your cheeks.
The best part is also seeing the aunts squeeze themselves into a tiny Santa “helpers” outfit . Which is a red velvet fringed shoulder less dress .
The whole team would bust through the doors carrying garage bags full of gifts . It’s quite lovely .
My favorite holiday tradition… nails in the shades of red and gold…
Ooo love the essie mini sets! I always pick one up at the airport during a layover somewhere.
My favourite holiday tradition is making a gingerbread house with friends or family while listening to Christmas carols ❤️🎄
My favorite holiday tradition is picking gifts for my loved ones!
My favorite thing about the holiday is that every year my family will play a game and the loser has to take home this losing trophy and add something to the trophy. The trophy is very ugly now and no one wants to take it home but we have fun playing together
My favorite Christmas tradition is going out to see the lights and drinking a hot cup of mulled wine on the street with friends!
I love what you do Chris, you are such an inspiring person! Have a lovely Christmas!

Thank you!
My favorite holiday tradition is singing Christmas Carols in different languages with my family and friends around the piano while my mother is playing it. So much fun 😊
By the day, all these photographies should be titled:
“Portraits of a women”. I love the fact that you make differents moods!
My favorite holiday tradition is playing White Elephant with family I only see on Christmas (they live far away and only come in for the holidays).
The singing, the food, the presents, the city lights, the tree, the family being together, everything is wonderful at Christmas. It’s the Christmas spirit altogether.
My favourite holiday tradition is driving out to see Christmas lights and declarations with my family because we live in a tropical country so we’d do anything to indulge in the “winter-y” Christmas vibes! I’m 26 now and it still makes me feel like a little girl when I do this with my parents every year!
not sure that i’m part of any holiday tradition since i’ve moved quite a bit and wasn’t always able to fly back for the holidays. but it’s always been a blessing to spend the holidays with friends, extended family, or any other loved ones around….they’re even better if we’re all stuffing our faces together. as a newlywed, hope to start a holiday tradition this year!
My favourite holiday tradition …
Take my family out for dinner on 24 Dec:
Pick a wheelchair friendly place for my grandma, it also has to be a place with food that everyone likes – everyone means my parents, uncle’s family, aunt, grandma & her caretaker who can’t eat pork !
When I make the reservation I have to ask for a table with easy assess and enough space for grandma !
Arrange transportation for grandma, send everyone the address including the “how to get there” ..
Prepare gifts for everyone and remember to bring them !
Wow I can feel the stress just to write about it !!!
I love the colors in this polish! My favorite holiday tradition is getting the tree and decorating the house. It smells so good and just makes everything feel so warm and festive!

Hello everyone, well I would definitely say my favorite holiday tradition is the Chritsmas eve dinner with family and friends, and of course getting all glamorous for it!
My favorite holiday tradition is doing secret santa with my expanding family and watching the little kiddos open up all of their presents! Christmas has always meant a time for family for me and I look forward to it each year!
My favorite holiday traditional is going to the beaches! yes that’s right I used to live in New Zealand so our holiday season is gorgeous summer time. What can beat a day out at the beach with families and friends?

Another favourite Christmas tradition is putting on cosy pyjamas and drinking hot chocolate while watching Christmas movies 🙂 🎄🎄🎄

Hi Chriselle ;
Since you guys are doing 12 days of Chriselle I thought I do my know version called 12 AN’s Tradition’s… well short version!
So for the first day i want to share with the CINC team and everyone else that one of my most favorite Christmas traditions is decorating…
Every year after thanksgiving I start to buy Christmas decorations for the tree and the house. This is my thing; like i can ask my family for there opinion and they help me but in the end i just decorat everything the way I planned because to me that’s where Christmas starts and i just love doing it. It won’t take me a day it will probably last a couple of days since I’m in finals but i feel that in a way helps me relax and enjoy the moment and just shut off for all the stress from finals.
Oh and PS love the post Chriselle I myself am obsessed with nail polish

Togetherness is something I adore very much.. Families are my priorities! I love hanging out and just chilling at my parents house together with my siblings, niece and nephews. We don’t do it every year, but I know that’s something I’ve always waited every year. As we live in separate cities, it is very hard to gather all of us, normally we gather during Chinese New Year and Christmas time. However, as the family gets bigger, it gets harder every time. I would love to bring back old times when everybody is as free as me!

Never celebrated Christmas growing up as it is not a holiday we celebrate back home but since moving to US, I have started celebrating with friends from back home. We just get together and eat yummy foods and exchange little gifts and I love it as it gives us a chance to get together and catch up on our lives and also show appreciation to one another.
My favourite Christmas tradition is that my family and I do a secret Santa for each other with one bigger gift, but the best part is that it has to come with a poem! The poem reflects on that person’s year, and turns into the ultimate opportunity to poke fun at them…in a rhyming scheme, is there anything better than that?! Creates so many laughs and revisited memories.
💕💕💕💕 #excited

It’s all about food when it comes to Christmas in Puerto Rico. Ready for some “coquito”!! 😂🎄
My favorite holiday tradition is cooking American food with my sister. At the end of the night our table is the perfect Korean-American fusion!

I just started to follow you not too long ago and I absolutely love your posts, your style, and all your beauty tips. Thank you for sharing with us your life, you are a great inspiration! Keep it up girl! 🙌🏼
I would never ever even think of wearing a nail color like this, but it matches perfectly with your stunning eye makeup! My favorite holiday tradition has to be opening presents on Christmas morning with my family🎄
Best part of holiday tradition is getting together with the family in a warm and cozy atmosphere, and eating good mom food, especially after being away from them because of college ❤
Holidays are about giving and giving back. They’re at the end of the year so we can reflect about everything: what we loved, what we liked less, how some things were hidden blessings… 12 days of Chriselle just joins this spirit.
Much love and respect for this Day 1 !
My family always watches a movie together on Christmas Day! There have been some good movies and some bad movies, but it’s always something I look forward to.

Chriselle, I love you! You’re such a huge inspiration to me. I’m so thankful to you!
Chriselle ☺❤. I love what you do and I love reading your posts because I feel that all you post was made with love and dedication and that’s amazing! My favorite christmas traidition would be the “hallacas” we make here in Venezuela as Christmas Dinner ❤🎄✨. 12 Days of Chriselle is a really cool idea ☺.
Holiday traditions have become so important to me lately! My family wasn’t super close growing up. However, now that I have two little ones, I have really tried to make sure we are forming some holiday traditions that they can remember forever. One of the traditions we have started is that, the weekend before Christmas, we stay at The Mission Inn in downtown Riverside to be a part of the a Festival of Lights. We go have a nice dinner, go on a Cinderella carriage ride, ice skating, get pictures with Santa, and of course see the most beautiful Christmas lights. It’s a very beautiful time for our family!
Sadly, my family does not get together for Christmas because we’re so spread out distance wise, and for those of us that are close by are not in a situation to. So… no Christmas tradition as a family at the moment, but my church takes Christmas as an opportunity to share the reason for Jesus’ coming! Without family, Christmas can become lonely, but with our church tradition, it has become all the more meaningful.
My favorite holiday tradition is getting the whole family together. Everyone comes together for the holiday. No matter where they are they always come home for Christmas.
My favorite holiday tradition is just spending time with my family, since I don’t get to see them throughout the year. Thanks Chriselle!
My favorite holiday tradition is having breakfast with my family on Christmas Eve’s morning. It’s nice to start the day together before all that Xmas madness begins 😊🎄🎅🎁
Love the post! You’re such an inspiration 🙂 my favorite Christmas tradition is putting on Christmas music and drinking hot chocolate with family.
My favorite christmas tradition is the making the christmas meal. In my family, everyone makes something so we are all in the kitchen cooking and having a laugh. Obviously we always put christmas songs super loud!
Xx
My favorite tradition is the one I created myself: every year before Christmas I watch the same movie – “Love actually”.
It always puts me in a holiday spirit ❤️

One of my holiday traditions is that all the cousins get together and make diy project gifts to send to our other cousins across the globe. I enjoy that bonding experience so much.
Wishing you a wonderful holiday season!

Impeccable!!!Thank you 🙂
My favorite holiday tradition used to be for my parens, sister and I to travel down to Mexico and spending time with all my cousins for both Christmas and New Years; however we don’t usually do that anymore because my little family has different work squedules and school. Now we just celebrate Christmas 🎄 here in the States. We don’t have a lot of family here where we live, but what I have recently is expecting my sister home for the holidays and getting time to spend with her. To play board games and binge watch shows as a family!! I think those are the best moments we have! Thank you, Chriselle. I hope you have a joyous holiday season as well! ❤️🎄❄️
This photo shoot is amazing!! The nail polish definitely ties it all together 💕
My favorite holiday tradition is a bit weird. Every Christmas Eve we have a crock pot of cocktail weenies, they’re not the most popular so we always have leftovers. The next morning breakfast always consists of hot chocolate (since I’m not a coffee drinker) and semi-warmed up cocktail weenies.
In love with your style, your family and your elegance, thank you for offering that amazing giveaway💗🍒💗🍒
Yay! 12 days has begun! Thank you!

The holiday traditions have become much more important now that I have my son and that my mother is getting older and has had some health scares. It is about family and spending quality time with those you love.
Love u chriselle 😊💓✨
LOVE!!!! What a great gift!
My favorite holiday tradition is getting together with family that I haven’t seen in a while. I love that the holidays always bring us together in the best way.
I am the queen of doing a dark lip and minimal eye make up around the holidays, but NEED to get out of my comfort zone. Love the Essie glam here!!
Christmas morning breakfast in pj’s…just the four of us 🙂
We celebrate Chanukah in Israel, and each year all the family gets together at my grandmother’s house, who buys the craziest doughnuts 🍩 which are the traditional food in Chanukah. We light up the chnukia (candles) and we sing all the holidays’ songs.
Best time of the year⭐️
So excited about this! Love that you’re also encouraging the spirit of giving through the giveaway and donation for the next 12 days❤️
Decorating sugar cookies with everyone- it gets messy and sometime you eat more then you decorate but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
My family and I always go on meditation retreats together during the holidays! Always exactly what I need toward the end of the year, and so relaxing.
Hi!
As someone who has had some health issues thay make my nails really brittle, I still absolutely LOVE to paint my nails and a good way to look at it is that because they break so often, the more colors I get to try! I love adding color as a pop to my wardrobe. These holiday colors are gorgeous!
Xoxo,
Libby
My favorite tradition with my family is just being together on Christmas 🎄 day and with my daughter she is only two so it make Christmas more special 💕☺️
Hi,
Love wearing bold/unique nail polish.

Hailing from India, we don’t have major Christmas traditions but me and my frnds we throw house parties , go for glam dinner very weekends and go clubbin until New Years . so yeah!! It’s a whole month of celebration!
Hoping to be as chic as you one day Chriselle! Xoxo
Such a different yet beautiful nail polish color! Personally, my favorite Christmas tradition is when my family and I spend a day dedicated solely to watching Christmas movies. We get cozy in our Christmas pajamas, order chinese take out, and have a movie marathon!!! It’s such a fun tradition!
Love these nail polish colors! A tradition we’ve done ever since I was little was to open presents on Christmas Eve with my immediate family. We would then save presents with our extended family for actual Christmas Day, but that way we would be able to enjoy spending time with just each other before the holiday festivities!
This is great! I would love to win the giveaway x
My favourite holiday tradition is do the Christmas tree with my family and eat homemade panettone and pandoro for all the holidays 😍
My favorite holiday tradition is my mom letting us open one present on Christmas Eve. She’s been doing it since my older sisters were able to open presents themselves. It reminds me so much of my childhood.
Love this color! I’m usually super traditional with nail colors for holiday parties and just do a sparkly red, but this is definitely tempting!
My favorite holiday tradition is doing the advent calendar with my 2 kids. They love waking up every morning to see what the activity is for the day!
Happy #12daysofChriselle! One of my favorite holiday traditions is when we open our Christmas crackers/poppers after Christmas eve dinner! We all take turns reading our jokes/riddles & we all must wear the silly paper hats. We always get a great picture from the catwalk looking down at everyone playing with their toys & wearing their hats. Love love love.
My favorite holiday tradution is eat twelve grapes and have a glass of wine at 12am the 25 of december with all my family and friends.
Hi Chriselle! 😀
These Essie polishes are absolutely gorgeous! I’ve definitely been trying to incorporate more dark metallics in my nail color rotation since I usually stick to pastels, so these are so pretty for the holidays! One of my favorite family traditions is our Christmas hot pot. We start it Christmas Eve midnight eating our way through boxes of tofu, trays of meat and an assortment of fish balls. I enjoy it because it’s a time to cook and eat together while reflecting on our year as a family
Every Christmas, I make it a must to going back to my Home country to visit my parents 💖
Love from Australia xx
So lovely post 🙂 I started to feel that Christmas is coming after reading ^.^ My favourite tradition is to buy presents for my relatives and leave them under the Christmas tree secretly. I’m a secret Santa 😉 I love making their small dreams come true)
My favorite holiday tradition actually has to do with nail polish. As a little girl, I would always help my mom cook a feast with her speciality the slow cook beef stew. After putting all the ingredients on the slow cooker, my mom would paint my nails and I would paint hers (not as pretty ;)) we kept the tradition going until this day, it’s a great bonding time with her.
My favorite tradition is decorating the house for the holidays. On friday after thanksgiving my mom, sister and I would wear comfy pjs and put on Christmas music and set the whole house up. Now I get to share this tradition with my husband 🙂
Our favorite family tradition is making Holiday Pie (basically marshmallow pie), with my 3 girls. They absolutely love it and always want to bring it as their potluck dish for school parties!
My church’s Christmas cookie walk is the best!
Hello Chriselle! My favorite holiday tradition for Christmas is to play with the fireworks but in the last years, because I have a lot of nephews, they hire a santa for the kids and it is so fun, I love it.
Hi Chriselle!
I love your channel, I’m also a skin care junkie. Can’t get enough of trying new products ❤️
Have a happy holiday 🙂
Hello Chriselle, this is a very special Christmas for our family. Our little one started to understand what does Christmas means, and so we gonna introduce all the Christmas traditions to her, like the big dinner, the Christmas shopping. And yes I’ll let her watch I’m doing my nails with this Essie kit especially! xx
Hi Christelle,
My favorite holiday tradition is to wait for first snow in Paris (when it snow) and go out collectif as much snow as we can so that my parents and I would make a snowman. So sad that I actually miss the first snow in Paris as I choose to spend for the first time since I was born Christmas with my grandmother in Vietnam, but I know Christmas here in Ho-Chi-Minh City will be pretty amazing too.
Wish you and your all team and family a beautiful holiday seasons!
Xoxo
Julie
I guess would be eating turkey 🦃
My favorite holiday tradition is every Christmas Eve me, all my siblings and my mom wear matching pajamas and play board games. It’s nothing special but I look forward to it every year !
Since my birthday is on Christmas, my favorite tradition is to eat a slice of 20 layer crepe cake, from Lady M, and a glass of rose!!!

My favorite holiday tradition is celebrating Christmas Eve with my family. We eat a big dinner, dessert, and either sing some karaoke or watch a holiday movie.
Hello Chriselle! ❤️
This year’s christmas is going to be so special to me. I just moved out from the city I was born and now I live in Vienna (Austria) for my studies.
Our family tradition each year is to get together in Vienna with my relatives and have a feast! I love that when my whole family sit together to eat, drink & have a nice talk. So this time, I’m not going to come from my city to Vienna, instead my family is going to come for me and this will be the first time I see them after I moved out ☺️
My favourite tradition is watching Christmas movies with my family and to wear ugly christmas sweaters ❤️🎄
Love this nail polish color! My family’s tradition is rapidly becoming to not cook and instead order out our holiday meals. Saves so much time on prep and clean up!
Hi Chriselle! My favorite Christmas tradition is defiantly going to my families house and just spending time with the people I love and thinking back on the past year I’ve had, and the regrets, achievements and everything in between this year has brought to me. Xx
hello my holiday tradition is watching Love Actually!
My favorite holiday tradition is watching Home Alone and Elf with family. We wear comfy clothes, sip on hot chocolate, eat chocolate chip cookies and bundle up in blankets.
Love everything about this look! Thanks for always giving up tips to stay chic 🙂
My favourite tradition for the holidays is a simple one – family dinners. Now that I have a family of my own and moved out, spending time with my entire family is rare. I treasure the holidays for this very reason and look forward to planning these dinners every year. My baby is also born 2 days before Xmas so I think this time of year is that much more special.
Stunningly beautiful
Hello Chriselle!
My favorite tradition for Christmas is decorating the christmas tree and spending the time with the family.
My favorite Finnish christmas tradition is watching live from TV the declaration of Christmas and peace broadcasted from my hometown! Thats the official start of Christmas holidays for us here in Finland! 🙂 Hyvää joulunodotusta!
My favorite holiday tradition is the decoration of the house . First we decide a team for our christmas decoration for example this year it is cold winter, a couple years a go was fantasy land. Then we see what we have and the we go shopping for new decor items. This for sure is my favorite part, go to this amazing stores and get inspire. When we have all our decor , we put some christmas songs and start decorating our home . It is a wonderful moment , because i live in another country and for me is extra special spend this quality time with my family.
My favourite Christmas tradition is watching “Three Wishes for Cinderella” with my younger sister on Christmas Day. It is such a lovely movie. I’m not sure if there is an English version, but I’m sure Chloe would love it!
My favourite holiday tradition is Christmas cake. In my family, for some reason we adore the cheapest low budget supermarket cake to the point that we usually eat and have to keep buying a new one in the lead up to Christmas day!
I love that nail colour and all the photos are beautiful! I’m so excited for 12 days of Chriselle!
Since I moved to Canada my family tradition became to have my parentswirh me (they still live in Brazil) and every Holliday we added a North American tradition, brunch, natural tree, Xmas pjs etc… this year they couldn’t make it for holidays. So I will spend Christmas with my Canadian family , friends that I had the blessing to meet during the last 4 years and we are going for the Xmas ugly sweater… I’m so exited 🙂
When I was a kid my favorite tradition was decorating the tree. Our ornaments are all different ornaments that my mom and dad collected over the years from different places and people and each one has a unique story. But when my sister and brother and I were little we played games with them pretending to be different ornaments. It was so much fun and something that only the imagination of children could come up with. Some of my best memories are those times with my family.
PS. Hand modeling on point! Love that color!
Also, I’m obsessed with those Essie nail colors 😍
Hi Chriselle! I’m very excited about 12 days of Chriselle, it’s so nice that you brought it back this year (seems like the beginning of a TCF tradition *wink wink*)
My favorite tradition is “posadas”. In the 9 days prior to Christmas Eve we gather as a community and walk around the neighborhood to a house that volunteered to host the posada (it’s different every night). Usually we encourage little kids to dress up as Mary, Joseph and little Angels. While we go walking (usually staring at the neighborhood park, or the entrance) we sing Christmas carols. When we reach the house of the posada there’s a special song we sing in which we ask for a place to stay the night, and it is denied several times, until the last verse where it’s revealed that it’s Mary and Joseph, and then the people from the posada (posada is like a small “Inn”) accept to give them room.
This is a very community oriented event, where we sing, cheer and share. At the end, the people from the house offer small treats to everyone who came, and the children have fun playing together.
#12DaysGiveaway
I’m IN!
My favorite holiday tradition is going to my dads for brunch on Christmas morning. He always makes this delicious breakfast casserole! There is nothing like spending time with family ❤️
Love your blog Chriselle! My favorite holiday tradition is wrapping presents. I keep everything in bags until i’ve gotten everyone something and spend an evening wrapping up gifts with a little Christmas music in the background. I always end up deep in thought about how much each person means to me and I spend time making each gift look extra special. No gift bags here!
Every Christmas our family has a holiday theme to dress up in so we can take a family picture. With all of its hard for this to ever happen so Christmas is the perfect time when everyone can be together. Top it off we do white elephant and play silly games. My sister is the best host and my brother is the best sport and dresses up as an elf to pass out gifts to all the little ones. I hope we could continue this tradition for years to come.
My favorite tradition is to add new xmas decorations to my very Asian home with my grandma. Christmas shopping is the best when we get to choose what gifts and food to prepare for our family, though small but still warm.
I love eating churros and thick Spanish hot chocolate Christmas morning! It’s my favorite, and we only have it once a year.
Love your posts Chriselle!
My favorite holiday tradition is going to church as a family on Christmas Eve and then eating sushi for dinner!
When it comes to nails, I’m definitely a neutrals kind of gal. I always take advantage of the holiday season to play around with glitter and colors. My family doesn’t really have Christmas traditions but since my brother and I have moved away from home, I’m just very excited to be able to spend some family time.
Hi Chriselle! Love the look! My favorite Christmas tradition is picking out a fresh tree with my two girls. They’re 9 and 5 so a fun age to enjoy the magic of Christmas! They remind me of all if the sweet innocence and joy of the season and life every day!
My now husband and I love in N.Y. so we love going into the city to see all the lights and decorations. It’s been our “must do” every year since we first started dating (past 7 years!). We love visiting all the little shops and taking photos. Of course we love spending time with our family and just enjoying each other’s company. This year will be a little different because we will have a larger family to spend time with, but looking forward to it!
My favorite holiday tradition is getting the tree for the first time and decorating it! And then we cut off an extra end of the tree and make it into an ornament for the next year! Love your fam!
I grew up in the Bahamas and every year there’s a Junkanoo parade on Boxing Day (the day after Christmas). The parade would start around 10pm Christmas night and go into Noon the next day. My favorite Christmas tradition was going to the parade with my dad and sister and staying up all night to watch the parade! #ChristmasInTheBahamas
I am from Europe where we celebrate on the 24th. My favorite holiday tradition is a blend of our two families traditions where we start Christmas on the 24th at night and then finish on the 25th
Wow, so beautiful 😍 As I am not teen anymore (sad), I get a new silk pjs every Christmas, do the most sparkling makeup and wear jewellery, spending all the festive days with my family, as unfortunately we live in different countries and can see each other only on some holidays 🎉🥂
My favourite Holiday tradition is spending time with my family!
My favorite holiday tradition is gathering with my small family in Chicago (the extended family is all in Turkey and Holland) and still pretending Santa is coming. My mom still leaves cookie crumbs as if Santa came.
Thank you for the beautiful content. It always calms me before bed!
Love the purple eyeshadow!
My fav holiday tradition is probably just spending time with my family. My parents are immigrants so we don’t have extended family here in the states. The holidays aren’t huge for us because we don’t have elaborate get togethers or big parties, it’s just time for some lounging around. And for my overworked mama to have a break!
My favorite holiday tradition has always been and will always be decorating the tree! It brings so much joy and memories back. I remember one year we couldn’t get the stuff down from the attic and I was so sad. It didn’t feel like Christmas without a tree. So my mom went and bought a pre-Lit and pre-decorated tree just for me.
Hi Chriselle, my favorite tradition ways of holidays is Christmas caroling and attending the Christmas Eve mass then curling on the sofa watching kids opening their Christmas presents in front of the fire place whilst drinking a glass of red wine n the English fruit cake…
I’m so IN!!
My favorite holiday tradition is breakfast with santa. A friend of mine puts up this event with santa and Mrs.claus with all my close friends and their family. We enjoy eating a wonderful breakfast with family and friends, have some time with santa and Mrs.claus, then the best part is we get a great photo session with santa and the whole family by our very talented photographer friend.❤️
I love cuddling up next to the fireplace and watching home alone every Christmas!
My favorite Xmas tradition is putting on Xmas music mid November. There is just something about Xmas music that gets me in the mood for Christmas.
It would have to be gathering together as a family.
My favorite holiday tradition growing up as a kid in SF was going to Lake Tahoe and Reno for a couple days every year. My immediate and extended family would cram into two vans and make our way up there so excited to have a white Christmas! We would all snowboard during the day and play arcade games and carnival games at Circus Circus there at night. Some of us always walked away with a stuffed animal bigger than the person (:
I love your purple eye shadow look, Chriselle! It’s so helpful seeing how you do your eye makeup, because we have similar eye shapes and eyelid folds and I’ve always struggled with how to do my eye makeup. Seeing your makeup looks are so helpful! And obviously love the nail color too!
Ps. Obsess with nail polish and loving the colors!!!!
In Germany we celebrate Christmas a Little Bit different. My favourit Tradition is the Christmas evening: eating too much, eating tooo Many Cookies, Playing monopoly with my siblings and falling asleep happy and thankfull that I have such a lovely Family and People Arround me, Supporting me every day of my live ♥️🎉🍀 I live Christmas 😍
My family was never into Christmas when I was growing up so now that I’m older I get to create my own Christmas traditions with my family. But my favourite is to simply have time off to spend with my parents and meetups with old childhood friends.
Definitely spending time with my family ❤️
I have so many favorite holiday tradition its hard to choose one. Christmas time is my favorite holiday! One of my most favorite holiday tradition is christmas caroling with the kids at my church at the hospital and the old folk homes. I love seeing their faces when we come through and sing for them. It lifts up their spirit and reminds them that they are not alone.
Hi Chriselle!
Loving the look!
My favorite holiday tradition is just being able to spend quality time with my grandparents, who live far away.. Enjoying the food, games, and all the generations getting together for that one time of year!
All the family time!
My favorite Christmas tradition is getting all dressed up and going to Christmas Eve service together as a family! And another favorite is getting up Christmas morning and making a really yummy breakfast before opening presents. Love your posts Chriselle! Happy 12 Days of Chriselle 🙂
Growing up, our family would drive around to look at the Christmas lights in our town and the neighboring city. We went to church and exchanged gifts. I love how the snow cascades down to coat everything, making us feel cozy inside. I love the music, the soft lights, the extra warmth, and the break from work to spend time with friends and family. I love walking into O’Hare airport when I land because it jumpstarts the feeling of being back home.
A tradition with friends and colleagues is doing the white elephant gift exchange. I love getting creative with the gifts each year!
By the way, those earrings are fabulous! Totally wishing I had a pair now! 🙂
My favourite holiday tradition is to spend time with my loved ones. Baking treats with mum while dad and little brother falls asleep on the sofa straight after a non traditional xmas meal hahaha xo
Every Christmas as a child we go to church in the morning as in no sun up yet. And if u complete the mass for 10 days ur wish will come true.
My favorite part about Christmas is spending an entire day with my whole family just being lazy together, opening mountains of gifts, and eating yummy food all day.
This year is the first year in my entire life that I’ll be doing without that beautiful day because at 23 I just got my first job as a Registered Nurse and I will be working on Christmas.
Much love from Florida, xx

I’m the girl that almost always sticks to nuetrals, but this Essie polish looks amazing!
One of my favourite holiday traditions is when we gather round to decorate the tree, obviously with *NSYNC Christmas music playing, some spiked eggnog & laughs at how our two little kids “decorate”. (After they go to bed, we always redecorate)! It’s such a special times to laugh & dance around as a family. xo
Every year I travel home to Hong Kong so that my family can be together at least once per year- My favorite tradition is that we go to Hong Kong Disneyland every year on the 25th to celebrate the holiday together !
One of my favorite holiday traditions is when we decorate on thanksgiving. We’re getting the tree up and decorating it and putting our lights around the house and at the end of the day we have such a great big meal… feels quite rewording to work so hard. 😊
So cute! I love the colors. Matching my nails to my outfits is always how I tie a look together. I change my nails almost every week to express my feelings that week. What a great idea. Happy holidays!
To be with my mom as she has been very sick. This Christmas is certainly going to be a special one with her.
As an only child, Christmas could get a little lonely sometimes but my parents always made the most of it. Our first Christmas was spent in Sweden when I was 4 years old and we had just emigrated. I was so excited that first Christmas that I woke up super early and grabbed my presents from under the tree and started tossing them into my parents bed and began opening them as they woke up to the noise of crackling gift wrap :). Every year since then, we have brought all the presents to bed and done gifting at the earliest wake-up, before breakfast, before teeth brushing, before anything else!
My favorite holiday tradition is when my immediate and extended family have dinner, reunite and reconnect with each other which lasts into the wee hours of the morning.
Hi Chriselle !
Chloe is such a sweetheart ! She’s makes me really want to have a girl now !
My favorite Christmas tradition ever since my son was born is dressing him up in an adorable Christmas theme PJ/holiday outfit for family photos and for Christmas Day.
My favorite tradition is baking with my four sons. They help make their favorite sweet each year. We have the best quality time and conversations. I also love watching It’s a Wonderful Life with my Hubby!
My new favorite holiday tradition is to pick a real Christmas tree from a local farm with my husband David and daughter Mila. We started the tradition last year and look forward to it every year. Mila is now 18 months and she will actually be able to point one out. An old favorite tradition is to hang out on Christmas Eve with my side of the family, I grew up in Puerto Rican household with lots of music, delicious food and coquito!
My favorite holiday tradition was that we always go out to dinner at a fancy restaurant on Christmas Eve and then we we came home from dinner we each got to pick out one gift that was under the tree to open.
My favorite holiday tradition is basically just sitting in the living room with my dad listening to the Christmas music classics with a glass of egg nog or wine depending on the mood.
Essie here we go!!!
We unwrap presents on Christmas Eve as a family 🙂
My favorite Christmas tradition is going to see the lights in the lobby of the Roosevelt in New Orleans!
Growing up my favorite holiday tradition was going out on Christmas Eve. I grew up in Guyana, South America and Christmas Eve was the one day you get to play dress up… walk the street market and get thing like grapes and apples which were priced fruits only for holiday. Now I am older I’m looking forward to starting new traditions. ❤️
My favorite christmas tradition is having dinner with my whole family, we usually don’t have time for all of us to be together but we get together on christmas!
my favorite holiday tradition is all of the baking! i love being able to bake sweets with my mom, and I think my Dad and brother enjoy eating them even more!
Our family doesn’t have much of a tradition. We just stay home and bum all day together. But I’m getting married soon!!! And hope to start new traditions with my soon-to-be husband! 🙂
My favorite holiday tradition would hands down be shopping, wrapping all the gifts and organizing what to buy for my family and friends. One of my top love languages is giving and receiving gifts so it’s always nice to just be able to splurge for the people I love. I usually work for Christmas and New Years so the day itself may not be too special.. but I love being able to share the gifts and seeing their faces light up (-:
My favorite tradition is cooking with my family. Also wearing my ugly Christmas sweater that my family hates but secretly loves.
I can’t choose! There are so many lovely traditions this month, which is also why it’s my favorite time of the year. Glögg, advent calendars, Danish æbleskiver, Santa Lucia, great food, giving presents to the people I love. 💗
My favorite christmas tradition is too spending time with my whole family and go on a mini trip. My uncle’s family always come visit us during Christmas and it is nice to be able to spend time with them❤️
Btw, the makeup is amazing!😍
Hi Chriselle!! My favorite holiday tradition is the Christmas carol and on Christmas Day spend the day in pijamas and watch movies, Disney movies!! 🍿 🎥
For me, it’s definitely making Korean dumplings with my mom, grandma, and sister. Mine come out the ugliest and usually end up opening up but we have such a fun time making them!
My holiday tradition is typically Australian, beach and a whole lot of seafood which is great fun but this year I am so excited because we will be spending Christmas with my partner’s family in England which means we’ll be having a white Christmas! Plus it’ll be the first time I see snow! I can’t wait to build snow men, pet reindeer and do a load of other stereotypical activities.
Happy holidays!
Stace xo
Hi there! My favorite holiday tradition is making the Sicilian cookies and Christmas dinner that my dad’s family has made for many, many generations. I’m not a very traditional gal, but I die for this tradition!
My favorite holiday tradition is decorating our christmas tree, with christmas carols playing in the background. Wish you all an amazing holiday season! xxx
My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree with my son
My favourite Xmas tradition will definitely be having secret Santa exchange with many many of my friends ❤️❤️❤️ It’s less stressful and more fun to buy for someone random every year:)
My favorite is secret Santa with my siblings and significant others! There’s 6 of us siblings so it’s nice not to have to get everyone something and just get something nice for that one person. We always try to figure out who has who and our oldest sister seems to always figure out 75% of it..somehow.
My favourite holiday tradition doesn’t happen anymore, but when we were kids we used to wait with the neighbours out on the street for Santa to come on the fire truck and give out lollies
My favorite Christmas tradition is going to church with my family. It always reminds me of the greatest gift of all and how blessed I am to be reminded of the gracious gift with the people I love. ❤️
My favorite holiday tradition is definitely all the cheesy Christmas movies and tree decorating!
I love the colors! So beautiful! One of my favorite holiday traditions is making and decorating gingerbread cookies from scratch with my family.
Hellooo chriselle! Absolutely the secret santa that we do every year with family and friends! Never gets old😌.
My fav holiday tradition is spend the Xmas dinner with all my family
Those couleurs looks amazing! Perfect for the holiday! Thanks Chriselle
I LOVE going to see the lights and window displays on 5th ave and near Rockefeller Center every year, but this year I’ll be in Paris so I’m excited to see the Christmas market near the Eiffel Tower!! <3 <3 <3
My favorite Christmas tradition is being with family. I don’t think I’ve ever appreciated getting together with my parents and sister for Christmas or any kind of holidays or any day actually before my sister and I’ve moved out of the house. It’s so difficult to gather all together at the house at the same time but it’s truly a blessing to see each other at least a couple times a year to celebrate the most jovial time of the year!
Hey! First of all, A Big Fan here.
This time of the Year is Magical and what I love the most about it is that how it brings everyone together. Meals, chats, laughter, presents and warmth, it is what knits us together again each year for as long as we live.
Happy Festivities!
Lots of Love to you and your Family.
Shikha
I love decorating cookies with my family!
My favourite holiday tradition is Christmas midnight mass with the family! It’s the reason for the season and Christmas mass always feels extra magical. Even though it’s late when it ends us kids would stay up to open our presents before we stumble happily into bed 😀
We buy breakfast burritos and pass them out to homeless people at the beach on thanksgiving and Christmas.
Staycation with my boys in the city to see the holiday decorations, is my fav holiday tradition
I’m so excited! My fave christmas tradition is baking christmas cookies while listening to christmas music 🙂
Loving the makeup look and the nail polish! Amazing!
Those colors are gorgeous!!!!
My favorite holiday tradition is making cinnamon rolls on Christmas Eve! Every year on Christmas morning we eat cinnamon rolls while we go through our stockings as a family. However, the night before we make them from scratch so we don’t have to do any work the day of! They’re a labor of love but it’s so fun to be in the kitchen with everyone and just spend that quality time together 🙂
<3
Rachel
My favorite holiday tradition is our annual baking day! We bake from 9am-5pm and share all the goodies with family and friends! Fun holiday activity and great gifts to give!
I love the nail polish ! 🤩
One of my favorite tradition during the holidays is Secret Santa with my friends! So great to pick someone and prepare a great surprise for this person! The secret part make it very funny and mysterious!
Xoxo from Paris
LOVE your blog, Chloe and you! My family is really spread out, my mom, my dad, my brother and I have been living in different countries for 4 years now but we always make sure to come together during the holidays. My favorite tradition is decorating or Christmas tree and ordering a giant Christmas meal with everything from gammon ham to carrots to cake from a nearby hotel. We weren’t really confident about cooking it ourselves but we would always order it every holiday season. Another favorite tradition of mine is eating all the leftovers the next day!
These nail polishes would definitely be added on my shopping list for my Christmas gifts…
Celebrating Christmas eve is definitely my favourite holiday tradition. Everyone’s so busy preparing for the Day, whole family attending the Midnight Mass and whole fam staying up late to dine together for the Noche Buena feast.
I’m the best fan of nail polish and doing my own at home manicures to give myself a little love during my hectic weeks. Essie is on of my favorites and the new shades look amazing! I hope they bring them to South Africa!
Holiday tradition for me is shopping + brunch date with my bffs💖💖💖
I love love this look ! The earrings are amazing too ! There’s a lot of traditions in my family but my faves are probably a toss up between decorating the Christmas tree to our favorite Christmas music and opening up a present on Christmas Eve. Its always PJs and we wear them to bed that night and to open presents in the morning. ( I also love Christmas breakfast !)
My favorite holiday tradition has changed throughout the years. Growing up, it was waking up early on Christmas Day to find gifts piled up under the tree, but I’d have to wait until dinner to open them once we gathered together as a family with my cousins. I remember this was the most exciting part of the day for my cousins and I (and the parents got a kick out of it too)! Now that we’re much older and all adults, I would say that my favorite holiday tradition is gathering with friends and family. With our lives getting busier with work, relationships, and new families, it’s harder to see and spend quality time with each other throughout the year. Being able to throw holiday parties where everyone can get together is the one thing I look forward to every year!
Hi! My favorite holiday tradition would be to go on a fun getaway trip just for a few days every December! There are so many beautiful places that I haven’t discovered yet even in my own country:)
My fav part of any tradition is the get-together with family and friends and cachet up. It isn’t as easy to keep in touch as it used to be in young days.
My favourite Christmas traditional in my country was preparing gifts and hold a party at home. With all my uncle, aunties from other states and celebrates together with lots of loves and laughter!
Favorite holiday tradition is always spending New Years with my parents and sister no matter where in the world we are , my
Family loves to travel for the holiday but we always make sure New Years we are running in the year together United because we are one. 🤶🏼🎅🏻🎄

My family Christmas tradition starts with service at the church, Christmas feast then a huge bonfire at night and dancing around it singing hymns. 🤗🤗🤗
My favourite holiday tradition would be going to our timeshare cottage every year after Christmas and skiing at the ski hill nearby :). Thank you for finding the time out of your busy schedule to make this giveaway! Lots of love from Canada!

One of my many fave holiday tradition for myself is to get a warm peppermint white mocha from Starbucks! Love red cup season! The Essie polishes are so cute!
Hi team!
Since moving to London 2 years ago I still haven’t found my new traditions, it’s always hard to be away from my family, so I guess for now one of those traditions is skypping with my mum so that she can show me all the food she made !!
PS: you guys have amazing edits! If I tried to take pictures like that with the hands in front of my face I would look like a potato with very cute nail polish. Just saying.
My fave Christmas tradition is going to see all the Christmas lights with my family…Its always such a lovely experience!!!
The nail colors are cute.
My favourite holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree 🎄 with my family. It’s so special because it brings us together. ❤️
Yes! The holidays are finally near, my fav part is walking around my neighbourhood seeing all the Christmas decorations! I don’t know why but whenever you have a bad day, Christmas lights and creative decorations just seem to make me feel happy again.
Love, and holiday cheer!
Marit Magdalena
I want to start off by saying, love love love your style and the entire ChriselleINC teamfam! You guys have become my lifestyle manual🤪💝. I’m definitely going to try a bold chic polish and get away from my usual nudes I chose, thank you for the recommendations! One of my family traditions have been opening one gift on Christmas Eve🎄
I love your glam, Chrislle, every version of it!
My favorite tradition is hanging ornaments on the tree and having an “official” tree lighting ceremony with my fiancé and corgi while Christmas music plays in the background. It’s small, quiet moments like that that stand out in our, otherwise, very hectic schedules.
Hi Chriselle and all the team! I love you so much, as much as the Panettone… one of my favourite italian Christmas tradition!!! 😀 a lot of kisses form Italy to all of you!
Decorating the tree and baking gingerbread cookies with kids, best times 🌟!
Love to see your unique take on holiday glam!
Hi Chriselle!
This is my first time entering to any giveaway ever! So I’ll give it my best shot at commenting every single post.
My favorite holiday tradition would have to be buying the Christmas tree. Just because I find that it represents the beauty of wishing and waiting for a true purpose. It’s like you are decorating your house to make it look the absolute best; which makes it very personal and private to everyone. Also, my birthday is on December and that makes it even more special for me!
Xoxo,
LC
My favorite Christmas tradition is the food and day of eating. My family is pretty mixed so we always have the most mixed meals, we potluck and do american, Korean, Chinese, Filipino, Japanese, and sometimes Mexican or Brazilian food. 😛
ALSO! I LOVE THAT NAIL COLOR!!!
Big Bear lake trip with the whole fam!!
I love you accessories obsessed to be honest 😍😍😍

My favourite holiday tradition is the Christmas movie marathon!
My favorite holiday tradition is giving our neighbors homemade cookies and a huge box of 배 (Korean pear)
Also, absolutely loving the nail polish color!
My favourite holiday tradition is the whole family gathering around the tree in their pajamas to watch the kids open their presents. Usually followed by toast and a glass of champagne to prep our tummies for a massive Christmas lunch 💚♥
Hi Chriselle!!^-^
I’ve been a silent reader for over a year now, but I have to tell you that your styling is impeccable.
You always look so effortless and put together, and ‘that’s a look I want to try’ is always something I say when I watch your videos or read your blog posts.
I’ve always been very shy, so I’ve never really had the confidence to wear clothes that I think would look good together, but since I’ve started watching your videos, I’ve found the tiniest bit of courage to start experimenting with my clothes and I have to say I love it!
You’ve made me love fashion more than I thought I could, so thank you for that.^-^
Maybe someday, I’ll try to pursue fashion as career??
Thanks a lot for being a constant source of inspiration to me.
Love,
Kannagi
Oh my God, I LOVE Essie!!
My favorite tradition is, as typical as it may sound, decorating the tree. Just a classic
xo
Dear Chriselle,
my tradition isn‘t really a tradition I guess. But Christmas is for me the time of the year where i can go home and see my mom after a year.
XO Mael
Love the eye makeup. It looks super festive.
My favorite Christmas tradition is our family dinner we have every year. My mum cooks amazing andI love when we are all together.
Hi chriselle,
My favourite Christmas tradition is visiting the Toronto Christmas market with my family and friends and sipping a cup of hot chocolate during a cold night there. My dad also likes to create a Christmas village with miniature houses and people and fake snow which is definitely my favourite part about Christmas and this tradition started from my childhood times til now! 😍 I also have this Santa Claus figurine that my parents bought me during my 2nd Christmas and it was exactly my height (when I was two years old 😂) now that I’m 22 I’m way taller than it but we still have it and put it next to the Christmas tree every year 🎄💫❤️
OK I am OBSESSED With this post and how it looks!
chevrons & éclairs
I’m Italian so my favorite tradition is obviously sharing a good meal (or multiple i better say) with my beloved ones (family&friends)!
Those eyes are pure magic, now I want to try a strong color like that!
Essie nail polish are so good, I love changing colors but red is my all time first choice!
Thank you Chriselle xx
A Christmas tradition for us is to bake plenty cookies to help achieve a 500+ dozen cookies goal for those who serve our country! The kids get a kick at decorating them and sneaking a few for themselves too.
Loving the first post of 12 Days of Chriselle!
My favourite holiday tradition (among many) would be going out with the family to see all the amazing Christmas lights that people put up!
xxx
To be quite honest Christmas has never been that big in my family. That’s why I usually would celebrate with my closest friends. We would go out to dinner and gift us a little something. And this has become our tradition and I am so lucky to have those people in my life, not only as friends but as family. Thank you chriselle for this little task, it truly reminded me that I need to be more appreciative of the people in my life. Merry Christmas! ♥️♥️✨🎄
“The twill of it all” is so nice! Can already see it be worn so many ways for the holiday season.
Chriselle 언니!!
I love love love your statement pearl dangly earrings…they’re so elegant and beautiful. Also, all of your photo poses really highlighted your nails well 😂 your efforts were not in vain because the Essie nail color on your fingers is WOOOW! So unique. Keep up the good work~ always enjoy getting email updates about your posts and reading them.
********Tradition: My favorite family tradition during this time of the year is helping my mom cook 만두국 🥟 so so so yummy!!!!!!! Also, sitting in the living room with my parents while peeling and eating Blue Jay oranges 🍊 while watching a movie of a Korean drama together. PLUS it’s always so nice this time of the year because we pull out the electric bed heaters (전기장판). It feels so nice and cozy whenever I crawl back into bed.
Hi Chriselle,
Since my birthday falls on Christmas my ultimate favorite holiday tradition is that we celebrate “Sooniemas” which is my family nickname! All my cousins come over and we spend morning until night together! We have breakfast in our PJ’s to dinner in our fabolous holiday outfits! Maybe this year we can all have our nails painted by the new Essie collection for the Twill of it! 😉 happy holidays to everyone and their families!
My fav holiday tradition is traveling!! Usually I travel to Taiwan to see my grandparents. Some times I travel to other places. This year, I’m traveling back home to visit my parents since I moved to the UK this year with my husband.
My favourite holiday tradition is cooking and baking all day on Christmas Eve and then wrapping all of the presents to bring to our friends and family at the Christmas Eve service at church in the evening. We pray and sing and exchange presents with one another and then go home to our families, where we have a special Christmas Eve dinner together and go to sleep with the anticipation that we will wake up to Christmas morning and open presents around the Christmas tree.
Hi Chriselle! My favorite holiday tradition is checking out all of the Christmas lights and decorated houses at Sleepy Hollow in the South Bay! Walking around with friends and family while sipping hot chocolate is the best! Btw, I love the purple eyeshadow! I’m always afraid to rock the color since I feel like it makes me look like I have a black eye, but it’s so beautiful on you! Also, I’m digging the new Essie collections! I’m gonna have to go out and pick one up ASAP! 🙂
My favorite holiday tradition is waking up and watching family open up presents under the tree. I love surprising family with individualized gifts!
Baking cookies and setting up our Christmas Legos with my 2 boys.
Putting up Xmas decorations with my loved ones
So excited about this!! Love the 12 Days of Chriselle!
I’m from Norway but I study in the UK, so I just love going back home to spend time with my family, especially when we go to the mountains! My favourite tradition is definitely cooking traditional Norwegian Christmas food with my mum!
Love, Julie
Ever since I was a little girl my favorite holiday tradition has been going to the Grove in LA and admire all the Christmas decorations with my family. I was absolutely obsessed with the magnificent Christmas Tree! Christmas in LA is beautiful even if it doesn’t snow!
xx Natalia
Hi Chriselle! I love the multi-hued nail color from Essie! It really is so unexpected for the holidays.
My favorite tradition is having hot chocolate after opening presents with my family. We rarely drink it any other time of the year but on xmas day there is always hot coco!
My favorite Christmas tradition is going to the Christmas markets over the city and meeting up friends to drink Glühwein and catch up!
One of my favorite holiday traditions is spending a couple days in Disneyland with our closest family and friends. Disney just knows how to make the holiday experience – one to cherish and remember! This year we were lucky enough to take my brother in law’s family (which includes my 4 yr old nephew) there for their first time to Disneyland! We made sure to get the appropriate “first timer” pins and stay for almost the entire day (from opening at 8a to 11p)!! It was, and hopefully will continue to be, a holiday family tradition 🎄
Putting up the Christmas tree with my family.
Hi Chriselle!
Happy holiday season and love the way you look on those pop up colors!
My favorite holiday tradition was decorating a Christmas Tree with my mom. When i was younger I used to play around the Christmas tree and accidentally break the decoration. It’s what makes me think that this is the feeling of Christmas.
Looking forward for your next awesome posts!
Stella
My favorite holiday tradition is opening presents with my family and after enjoying each others company!
I love that nail color!I’m so excited to see what you post for the next 12 days!!
I forgot to mention my favorite holiday tradition!
We don’t reallly have a tradition, but we always have Christmas at my aunt/uncle’s place. We would always snack and watch TV before the REAL dinner starts! 😀
On Christmas eve, when all of the family members are together (cousins, aunt’s and uncle’s, grandparents), our parents later in the night say they’ve just seen Santa walking in our Apple tree garden. All the kids get excited and start running out. We all try to look for the big bag of presents that Santa had left. It’s a lot of fun and the kids get hyped when they find the bag and get to carry it back to the house.
I will say that decorating and eating all of the food is a great. You get to reconnect with family members you don’t see everyday but just being alive and having the opportunity to be with family for Christmas and celebrating Jesus is my favorite holiday tradition 🙂
Dear Chriselle,
Love your posts as usual. I follow you since 2013 I guess… And never stopped! 🙂
My favorite holiday tradition is watching a movie with my mum and dad. I’m 24 and living far from them, our family is small but full of love and we like to spend time together in the most simple and relaxing way. 🙂
Kisses from Italy 🇮🇹
Giulia Maria
Dear Chriselle,
In Germany Christmas is a little different but we do have wonderful traditions! We celebrate and open our presents on the 24th – Christmas Eve!!! Me and my dad used to live in the states and ever since we came back, my mom loves the American tradition to open the presents on 25th in the morning. So what we do is… my mom saves one gift for each of my siblings, dad and me and we have a tiny Christmas morning on 25th in our PJs .
Love your little family!
Cinderella
My favourite holiday tradition is having steamboat together and sharing with each other what’s going on for the past year!
My fave tradition is opening up presents on Christmas Eve (because we are all too lazy to wake up early on Christmas Day, especially now that the jig is up on Santa)
One of my favorite holiday tradition is volunteering my time for those that have less than I do. I always wish I can do more on a regular basics but during the holidays it’s always the toughest for them. I volunteer to serve hot meals at the George R Brown here in Houston, this year is the 36th annual Thanksgiving/Christmas Eve Big Feast. I also adopt a family through houstonchildrenscharity.org, it’s such a great local organization. Being able to meet the families and see the smiles on their faces when I hand deliver the gifts from their wishlist to them is one of the greatest joy!
Another favorite holiday tradition is quality time with my family & friends!
My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the Christmas tree with my family listening to Christmas songs 🎄💕
Hi Chriselle!!!!
I love listening to old Christmas songs and eating one little chocolate each day😂😂😂 then I run to the gym !!!
Love u blog!
Happy holidays
Vivi
Since our family isn’t big on other holidays throughout the year, Christmas is the one time we all spend time together for dinner. Its the best thing spending time with the extended family too and eating far too much food. Love from New Zealand xoxo
Hi Chriselle,
First of all you look amazing! Really love the eye makeup, so dramatic and glam. ✨
My favourite holiday tradition will be writing up Christmas cards each year, with a glass of wine and lovely music playing in the background. It just takes me to another place. I’m in my happy zone with the wine, music and stationery of course.
My favorite holiday tradition is getting together with my family- including aunts, uncles and cousins- for Christmas Eve dinner. We usually start early to prepare tamales or pozole – sometimes both 😬🤗
We usually play Lotería – Mexican version of Bing until it’s time to open presents 😊
Putting up Christmas decorations is my favorite! Every year on the day after thanksgiving, we take out all of our holiday decorations and light up the house. Our whole family works together and gets the house ready for Christmas! It’s such great family time and the house feels so warm and cozy after we’re done

My favorite holyday tradition is to get together with my huge family at my parents house, where everyone cooks their favorite dish or side dish, so we have a table filled with a lot different things that actually don’t go together but it’s soo much fun 😊
Aster 🌺
My fav tradition is listening to Christmas songs and opening gifts by the tree late Christmas morning (bc we all stay up late on Xmas Eve). Super relaxing!
My favorite holiday tradition is buying holiday flavored coffee like peppermint and gingerbread! I bree these every morning for the month of December!
Hi there!
My favourite holiday tradition is the super Dutch tradition of eating “oliebollen” on New Year’s Eve! They’re like deep fried balls of dough (kinda like donuts, I guess) filled with raisins served with powder sugar mmm, so good!!
Such a great make up. I love it!
My favorite holiday tradition is to help decorating the christmas tree with my mom and spend time with my family in the kitchen while helping them to prepare food.
Wish you great holidays!
Thalia.
Hi Chriselle,
I have to begin by saying how big I am a fan of yours from India. Do visit India as well sometime. We all have a fan club for you here!
My favourite holiday tradition would be going to the cathedral and singing Christmas jingles with people I don’t know and then coming home to a family dinner. 🙂
Gathering all my family up under one house and cooking/eating dinner! It’s like thanksgiving part 2. It’s just so great to see everyone altogether and to enjoy quality time!
Hi Chriselle!!
I live in Poland where we have the tradition of sharing ‘opłatek’. Opłatek is a sort of this crispy bread. We do it on Christmas Eve, we have a very trafitional dinner, and sharing opłatek is the firts thing we do before starting to eat. Each of us gets a piece and wishes all the best to each member of the family individually.
It’s really emotional 🙂
This is the cutest post and I love all the nail polishes! They scream Holiday! 😊
So excited to be part of the #12daysofchriselle
My first time participating on 12daysofchriselle and super excited! My family Christmas tradition is to go to our family Brazilian bbq restaurant fogo de chao for Christmas. The rest of my family is on Brazil, so this reminds of a piece of home. Excited to hear what yours is!
Ps: love etsy!! # Nails for days!
My favorite holiday tradition is all the food that made especially for Christmas! I don’t spend it with my family much but my boyfriends family always makes tamales! I’m so stoked for the holiday tamales!
Also I’m loving the Essie photoshoot! I just used essie’s Nail polish to paint my nails pink today.
Hi Chriselle & Cinc fam ❤
My favorite holiday tradition is that on the night before christmas, we place an extra plate if anyone just happend to come to our place. It can be even a total stranger ! This dîner is about giving a place to everyone.
Thank you for this event, can’t wait to read the next posts !
Caroline
My favourite holiday tradition is going out of town with family and kids,, we have a small cottage there where we can spend quality time together as a family,, because in work days everybody usually just busy with their work/bussiness, dont really have much time to each other,, so its very nice to be able to gather together, unwind and just enjoy the holiday:)
My favorite Christmas tradition is to have a Christmas’ eve dinner with family and continue with just a casual chit chat.
Anyway ,love the nail polish color!
My fav holiday tradition is putting up the Christmas decorations with the family. It’s such a fun way to spend time together!
My favorite holiday tradition would be putting up Christmas decorations while sipping on hot cocoa with Christmas music playing in the background.. and eating candy canes! 🙂
My favourite Christmas tradition is making Korean dumplings on Christmas Eve with my mom, my sister, and 3 nieces. My mom steams then as we fill the wrappers and we eat them fresh!
I’m sooo IN!! 🤩🤩
My favorite Christmas tradition is, of course, decorating the Christmas tree together. I take this REALLY serious. I don’t know… There’s something about Christmas decorations that really brings out the stylist in me LOL
Hi Chriselle!
What an amazing giveaway!!! And I love that you’re also donating!
My favorite tradition is to go to the nearby Christmas market with my family and eat buñuelos and just take in all the cheer and the smell of the tree’s
My favorite holiday tradition is celebrating the birth of Jesus. Yes, Christmas has more meaning now than just the birth of Jesus Christ. Even so, I like to be reminded of the things I’m thankful for and I’m thankful for my God and the Christmas season.
Such a gorgeous photos! My favorite tradition for this time of the year is traveling with my family and friends. We always chose different place in Europe for each time and enjoy our time together, as we don’t have that much during a year because we live in different places.
Greetings from Poland 🇵🇱
my favorite holiday tradition is the simple act of being together and gathered with loved ones, especially in a season filled with thankfulness and joy. as a relatively new college student, moving 3000 miles away from my family has brought a newfound love for quality time spent with them, & to be able to see them, even infrequently, is simply a privilege that I know others may not have.
Hello Chriselle ( or santa! Hahah)
Thank you very much for this giveaway!
My favorite christmas tradition is probabily the 13 desserts buffet that we usually do on the 24th of december! It’s a french tradition ans it’s absolutely delicious, we have cakes, sweets, chocolates, cookies, christmas sweets…. Can’t wait!! It makes me hungry to even think about it…#sweettooth 😂
Have a lovely day,
Christelle
Dear Chriselle,
Thank you so much for donating this year. Through this you are spreading the christmas spirit to people in need!
My favourite christmas tradition is to go to the christmas market with my family and picking up christmas decorations.
Thank you for such a thoughtful and fantastic giveaway!!! I’ve been a loyal follower from your days as a stylist and before Laura became your Assistant. Old school!
My favorite tradition at my home is giving my two young boys their own Christmas tree to decorate however they want. That is in their bedroom. The family one is in the living room. Their tree isn’t big but it’s all theirs. I love it when they excitedly ask to turn the lights on after finishing decorating it so they could ogle over their beautiful personal tree.
I love the holiday Essie line! One of my favorite traditions is to go to midnight mass at the grotto in Portland, OR where the forest light up with lights and the mass is extra gorgeous. It really gets you in the mood during the holiday season. Another tradition is egg nog!
My favorite holiday tradition is spending quality time for my family. – my husband and I take off from work and spend time with our 2 boys.
Sometimes with the hustle and bustle of the holidays and work, I find that it can be hard to spend time with my family, especially working in the healthcare field – the hospital never closes and during the winter months, it just gets busy.
My christmas tradition is watching Christmas movies with my husband!
My absolutelly favorite tradition is coming back to my hometown (since I live abroad) and meet all of my friends and family! And of course, drink a lot of Glühwein and Punch, and gaina few pounds because of the sweets 🙂
I love egg nog during the holidays over hallmark movies! I love the purple eyeshadow in these pics!
My favorite time of the year is here!
One of my family traditions is to celebrate the New Year more than Christmas, it’s because of national traditiona i think. So we gather all together, celebrate 3 NY in different time zones, eat a lot to be losing this weight for the whole year and exchange presents! As simply as that.
Christmas Eve with the family with an amazing mix of American and Chinese foods is my favorite holiday tradition. Love the color!
My favourite Christmas is the lighting! Here in the city I live, there’s always a maze made up by beautiful lights, and when you’re walking in it, it feels like a fairytale world!
Hi Chriselle, Thank you for inspiring so many of us everyday :)) You are a positive part in so many people’s lives! 🙂 I love your pictures, please do more instagram video tips!
Love, Monica
Favorite Christmas tradition….
Taking our son to take pictures with Santa and making a family outing day!! This year we get to add our newest member of the family to the picture. It will be perfect our son and daughter with Santa! ❤️
My favorite holiday tradition is having a dinner on Christmas Eve with my family.
Great reason to get my nails did regularly and try these colors
This is the first year that I’ve actually had paintable nails so I’m gonna be trying out so many nail looks :’) x
As an Indian, I celebrate a lot of festive occasions all throughout the year. Every festival, be it Holi, Baisakhi, Onam, Durga Puja, Diwali, Gurupurab, Eid, Christmas etc comes with stories and traditions that fill you up with happiness.
For this time of the year, we follow this tradition at home of cooking a special something for the family, bringing in gifts for everyone & making the kids in the house believe in Santa stories; which my mother used to do when she was alive. Now, I have taken up the responsibility for the same, thats what traditions are, to be passed on from one generation to the other.
Also, we donate clothes, food, books at the time of festivities so that everyone enters the new year with a smile.
Love.
🙂
My favorite holiday tradition is one that leads into the Christmas season. Every Thanksgiving, after dinner (and naps!), my family have what we call “ushering in”. This is where we all exchange new tree ornaments. My grandmother was the Christmas QUEEN and lived for the holiday season. She was someone who would put up two trees in her home and was known for taking back a tree if it didn’t look right in her space! She was ready to start preparing for Christmas immediately after Thanksgiving, hence the “ushering in”. I always enjoyed it because it meant something new and fun to put on the tree and now I love going shopping for ornaments and picking out really special ones for my family.
P.S. Love your photos showing off that polish! And that eyeshadow!
Christmas time! 🙂
My family and I love to drink hot chocolate on Christmas morning before we open presents! It’s the little things that count❤️
My favorite holiday tradition is getting our Christmas tree! My husband and I go to a tree farm over an hour away because it’s where he went as a kid and “their cider tastes better than other places” according to him. We make a whole day of it, wander around the tree farm, and smell all of the trees. Totally gets us in the mood for Christmas! (As if the constant Christmas music I play doesn’t do that already…)
My favourite Christmas tradition is singing carols after the Christmas Eve dinner 💕 I play on the piano and the whole family sit around and sing. This is the moment when we are the one. This is the moment when we feel the presence of the one we love but they are not with us any more ❤
For the holidays, my husband and I wear our ugly Christmas sweaters and spend the day at Disneyland! It’s also been our tradition to take our Christmas photo in front of the gigantic tree on Main Street, and just spend the day eating all the yummy treats and watching our favorite shows and rides!
The holidays and the traditions might be different but the one thing that unites everyone is family time. My favorite holiday tradition is the getting together of the entire family tree (it’s humongous!) We have an annual feast and dance and sing and celebrate the beginning of harvest season — which is also considered our New Year. It’s simply amazing to see everyone enjoying and just letting go of all their worries when they’re all next to each other. It’s the time when we all get to re-strengthen our bonds and mend our broken ties. It’s a time of joy and re-newal
Hello criselle
Never seen those Essie beauties before. Looking forward to rock them in Athens during holiday season. Love from Greece
My favorite holiday tradition is to spend dedicated time with friends and family. We watch holiday movies, make cookies, and snuggle up with some hot chocolate.
I don’t really get to see everyone together until it’s Thanksgiving and Christmas, but my favorite will always be Christmas. My favorite tradition is present time because all the kids gather around and open their presents all at once and you see everyone laughing because it’s just a giant mess. I use to be one apart of the kid team but this year, I have a little one of my own, I’m a gift giver now. I can’t wait to watch my little one grow up before my eyes and see her plow through all those gift wrappers!
Hi Chriselle,
My favourite Christmas tradition is lighting up the fireplace and laying down on the sofa watching a Christmas movie, while sipping on a glass of red wine.
So pretty Chriselle! My favorite holiday tradition is Christmas day brunch with the fam. Nothing beats quality time with loved ones.
Hiiii! Currently Im studying aboard so my favourite holiday traidition is countdown the days in order to be back. Back to my hometown and my family. Really exiting! During the holiday, I could stay with my family and have dinner time with them. And the fun part is I could recived money from my family because its Chinese New Year Eve!
Obsesed with the nails color! 😍😍
Love it!
🤗
My fav part is to decorate my home! This is my first december in London so very excited about it ! Love the essie colours, I am all about red !
My favourite christmas tradition would be the entire family getting all together the 24th night for a night of homemade pasta, fried fish and torrone! Followed by the Tombola where each family competes against each othert to win the biggest number of sweets! At the end we all just hug each other, wishing a happy christmas! It’s the best night of the year because i get to see all of my cousins and just spend time with them talking, having a lot of fun!
It’s the only day where everything else doesn’t really matter, beacause you are with your loved ones, just purely enjoying each other’s company!
I love this day so much!
My fave holiday tradition would be to have a Christmas cake sent to me from my aunt in Hong Kong. She bakes it herself and every year it’s decorated uniquely and precisely. It comes every year making it very special!
My new favourite tradition is going ice skating with my boyfriend at the Grand Palais and then going to the Christmas Market to drink some hot cider and eat loads of sweet things.
Also, I’m an illustrator and I made an illustration of you a couple of weeks ago, you can find it on my website: http://bythea.co
Cheers !
xx
My favourite Christmas tradition got to be decorating the Christmas tree! I’m not a Christian but I love Christmas just as much as my on celebration. And also the yummy delicious food! Chloe will have to agree on that with me 😊 xoxo
My favourite holiday tradition is definitely singing all christmas songs by heart 😍
My favorite tradition is getting back together with my family and connecting again as a unit. This year will be difficult because we have lost a family member but times like these is when family is so important.
Love your style
My favorite christmas tradition is decorating the tree on the 24th and then lighting up the candles in the evening with the whole family singing christmas charols. Yes, in Austria we celebrate Christmas already on the 24th 🙂
My favorite holiday tradition would be setting up the Christmas tree with my mom. Our Christmas tree actually stays out all year round, but during the holidays we take out all the ornaments from storage and arrange them on the tree. Every year a couple new ornaments are added to the tree, collected from the places we go, so it’s exciting to watch the tree grow fuller every year, with new memories! Seeing the tree lit up through the glass stained windows of our house when I’m turning into the drive way at night never ceases to make me feel happy and grateful.
My favorite holiday tradition is definitely the annual professional family photo we take. We started that tradition when my daughter was born, and this is the 3rd yr straight that we’ve done it. Love the memories that it captures.
My favourite “tradition” is staying up with my mom after everyone has left or gone to bed and catching up with each other as we live on different continents. We make tea and and sit around the kitchen table until we’re too tired to stay up❤️
My favourite Holiday Tradition would be when our friend and family would gather together and have our tradition Filipino Feast with the banana leafs set on the table along with delicious barbeque and seafood. Everyone eats with their hands and have some mango for last.
My favorite tradition is baking Christmas cookies with my friends. 🙂
My favorite holiday tradition would be visiting my grandparents for Christmas. Unfortunately they have both passed on, but I will always remember the long car ride and the feeling of relief and excitement to see their house all lit up like a beacon in the night. Grandma would have home made pho and eggrolls because they were my favorite foods from her. And grandpa would have some surprisingly thoughtful gift for me, like a dictionary or some little figurines. I really miss them this time of year.
My favorite tradition is going ice skating!
My favorite holiday tradition is spending time with my family and driving up the mountain with our dogs to go hiking and enjoy the snow and nature. It’s nice to get out of the house after opening presents and eating a good breakfast with my family.
My fave holiday tradition is putting the Xmas tree up! It’s a great way to share some time with my partner and a thing we can do together since we are both busy with work on most days and hardly get to sit down to spend some time together!
Love the colours of these nail polishes!
Lots of love from Melbourne, Australia
Anna x
One of my favorite family holiday traditions is when we take out the tree on Thanksgiving Day to put it up! 🙂 It’s one of my favorite traditions because our whole family does this together, and it really gives us time to not only bond, but when we’re putting up all of the new and old decorations, we talk about all of our fond memories from Christmases before! <3 Loving this gorgeous nail color, Chriselle!
XO, Elizabeth

Hi there! My favourite Holiday tradition of the moment is buying christmas decoration in every country I visit so that my Christmas tree will be also a living memory of my trips. Since I am on the road since last october I am going to miss my second favourite tradition, my auntie signature dish on Christmas Day :serpentone. It’s basically lasagna sheets filled with spinach and ricotta all rolled up resembling a chubby snake (from here the name.that means big snake in Italian) and topped with a sauce in between a stew and a bolognese sauce that nobody knows how to make except my aunty.
I can’t wait to see all the others favourite.
Xoxo from an Italian in Cambodia
Valentina
So excited for 12 days of Chriselle🙌🏻❤️!!! Thank you for doing this Chriselle!!😘
My favorite holiday tradition is sitting by the fireplace, drinking hot chocolate, and watching movies with my loved ones❤️❤️ Lazy holidays off work are the best!👏🏻😅❤️
Although my new fave tradition is turning out to be this-the 12 days off Chriselle😊❤️
Starting in high school (when I actually had enough personal money to buy stuff on my own), I made it a tradition to go gift shopping with my best friend for our family! It was a really nice way to not only reflect why family was important for both of us, but to share a very special part of our lives with each other (and of course, an excuse to do some “me-shopping” as well) 🙂 thank you for doing this cute project!
Wow, you look amazing!! Happy holidays!
I’m really digging the metallic nail polish! Wish they can sell it in my country.
My favorite holiday tradition is getting together with my family and close girlfriends to bake and decorate Christmas cookies. As we’ve gotten older we have dubbed this tradition ‘Cookies and Cocktails’. Oh and we’re all in our pajamas. ☺️
Hey Chriselle❤️
Big LOVE from India!
My favourite holiday tradition (yes, we do celebrate Christmas in Goa!) is making traditional holiday sweets with my family. We are pretty much modern in our everyday cooking but when it comes to these sweets we do it old school, ancestral style. All the recipes have been passed down through our generations! Love having that extra time with my entire family with some crazy delicious sweets.
Love,
Helen
(PS – let’s win this thing, ok?🍔😇)
My favorite Christmas tradition is getting advent calendars all ready for December 1st. I really love getting the kids fresh new matching PJ. I usually have them open it on Christmas Eve but I’ve decided to change it up this year and give it to them the first weekend of December so they can feel more in the spirit of Christmas sooner!!
My Christmas tradition is to write Christmas card to my friends all over the world. It’s a great chance to reflect on the year and share it with my love ones
Absolutely love this 💖 For the second year I won’t be spending Christmas with any family because I have to work the holidays, but I’m starting a new tradition with my closest friends
Holidays are always different in mu house. But the only tradition is to spend it with my family!
My fav Christmas tradition is eating my mom’s famous baked ham and mashed potatoes for Christmas Eve then making breakfast sandwiches with the leftovers Christmas morning. It doesn’t feel like Christmas without it. Yum!
One of my favorite holiday family tradition is to pick one new ornament to put on our Christmas tree. My daughter and husband also loves it. Nothing huge but so fun for us. 🙂
My favorite holiday tradition is doing Secret Santa with friends. It’s an excuse to all get together and catch up and celebrate the holidays!
Hope you and the CINC team have a wonderful and merry holiday!
I love the nail colors! The metallics look great for the winter! My favorite winter traditions are decorating my whole house with lights and garland, as well as getting a tree with my family! I also love all of the home cooked meals my mom prepares 🙂
My favourite holiday tradition, oh my goodness there’s so many! I think opening presents one by one by the tree with my family. I love that and how we all take time to say thank you individually for what we’ve been thoughtfully gifted 🙂 we also always do Christmas breakfast with mimosas and croissants… that’s awesome! (Sorry, two traditions!)
Love the whole look! 💕 Im originally from Mexico amd currently living in San Antonio, TX, so every new year since I moved to the US a few of my friends and family come to San Antonio and stay for about a week at my house. Its always like 20 people staying and we always have an amazing time and so many fun memories. That has to be my favorite tradition!
My favourite holiday tradition would be to just go for midnight church service with the family. To be in that atmosphere of love, joy, peace and hope is really heartwarming. Everyone dresses up to invite the birth of Christ and it’s so nice to be in that environment with the people I love and care for. :’-)
Hi Chiriselle, I’m from the Philippines but now I live in Italy and my favourite holiday tradition is our family’s “monito&monita” which is an exchange gift between all of us since my we are 18 in total (including my aunts, uncles, cousins and grandparents) with a little twist. They are a few rules: clothes are not counted as a gift and we have a limit budget to buy our gifts 😄. It is always fun every year!!
I wish to you, your family and to your team a great holiday season!!
Baci, Colyne

My favourite holiday tradition is to spend time with family and watch a movie together at a theatre. It may sound simple but it’s a great time spent together enjoying a great movie over a large bag of buttered popcorn. Over the years we have seen the Harry Potter series, lord of the rings trilogy, the hobbit series and many other movies and I can’t wait to see many more movies to come.

Hello Chriselle !
I’m from Strasbourg, France and this city is like the best to celebrate Christmas. There is decorations on every corner. My favorite tradition is to go take a walk on every street every 1st of december and i’m like a kid the morning of Christmas.
I love essie it’s my favorite nailpolish brand. Finger crossed.
I love cooking or baking something for my family and friends every winter holidays!
First of all, I need to say that at the end of the day my new tradition is to make sure I take care of my skin and read your blog before going to bed.
One of the Holiday traditions that my grandmother made sure we did as a family was to give one of our presents away for an orphanage she was involved with. I will be honest that at times we did not want to assist with her, but as time went by and we got older we understood the meaning of what we were doing. I now have a soon to be teenage daughter and I am making sure she follows the tradition.
I am really obssesed with your amazing style. I am following you on Instagram and I am really enjoying each of your posts as well as stories. My country Armenia is celebrating holidays in a very unique way. First thing we do is to visit our relative’s houses and to give them chocolate, a wine or a brandy. In this way we share with each other the happiness of the holiday and wish them luck in the upcoming year. If we visit others we have to sit around a table and taste the traditional Armenian food in their homes as well. One of the traditional foods is tolma, which is cooked by the leaves of grapes rolled with minced meat. We eat that by mixing the yogurt (macun) and garlic together. From the cakes we eat paxlava, which is made from honey and nuts. Then as a tradition we take photos for having them as memories 🙂 Out of all the things I described the process of decorating the Christmas tree and the home is the most enjoyable one. As after doing so with all your family members you feel that you are in a fairy tale where in each of your stel there are happening magical things. This year I am waiting for celebrating with my family with more enthusiasm🎄🎄☃️❄️💜🌠
Firstly am always so happy to see you posting blogs and also vlogs, i always enjoy when i see you can chloe and allen, you guys give us positive vibes and how loving your husband is,,,, besides that this blog is absolutely beautiful, love how you are wearing metallic nail paint but your purfit seems black which evens out the whole look 💕💕💕💕

Love the nail colors!!! So holiday 🎄!!!
Putting decorations up!
I love getting a new ornament every year to commemorate events or travels and all the gift giving.
I wish I could wear nail polish! I unfortunately still have a nervous habit of biting my nails, so they never grow long enough to look good with polish.
My favorite tradition is to pick up a gift for a random person. Decrmber is the month of abundance & blessings. After all sharing is caring. Gifting my self its easy…just have a manicure and I used Essie 😉
the nail colors are simply perfect for winter and a night out~
Christmas are my favorite holidays and my traditions are just simply have to have a get together with friends and pig out and do white elephant. Every year it’s what I gotta do to celebrate for the end of the year, and that’s my favorite tradition.

My favorite holiday tradition.. My family always hosts everyone on 12/24. We have a large gathering with lots of food and fun. At midnight, we all open one present and then the next morning, my immediate family all make a nice breakfast and then open the rest of the presents. After that we just hang out the rest of the day and relax while watching Christmas movies.
Drinking hot cocoa by the fireside!
Hi Chriselle and Team!!!
My favorite holiday tradition is also just spending time with family and watching a classic christmas movie!
Love that nail color on you!! So unexpected but gorgeous!
Love driving around the neighborhoods at dusk to admire the lights. Our neighbhood sets up luminaries lining the streets the night before Christmas. Always feels like a winter wonderland.
Since having my daughter two years ago, my new favorite holiday tradition is decorating our Christmas tree and seeing her face light up when the lights come on!
Happy holidays, CINC- Team!
Every Christmas, me and my friends will have dinner. Either steamboat or bbq. It seem hard to make it up now because of our working schedule and some are in oversea. But we still try our best to make it up. This year too. We are planning to have dinner over my friend’s cafe! Just can’t wait for it. To meet up everyone! Like our yearly reunion.
My favourite holiday tradition is buying surprising gifts, although thy may not be the best presents. But I enjoy spending time thinking about how I could surprise them, and recalling funny moments and inside jokes. Planning is certainly fun, but when I see their reactions, it makes me so happy and proud of myself for coming up with such great ideas. Last year, I got my friend a clown joker box filled with glitter. It brought a lot of fun and a pain in the bum later to clean it, but it was worth it all.
My favorite holiday tradition is our Christmas Day Taiwanese breakfast brunch!
My favorite holiday tradition is spending time with family and watching home alone!
Love the purple shadow and polish, so glam!
love your work, Chriselle
My favorite Christmas tradition was when I was a kid and we would see all of our family on my mom and dads side of the family. It was so fun to catch up each year and open all of our presents together. My mom always made our home feel festive and cozy during the holiday season, which is also something I’ll cherish.
my favorite holiday tradition is to spend Christmas with my family with a home cooked filipino/chinese dinner. Also, after dinner, we watch Christmas movies while waiting for midnight to greet each other a very Merry Christmas and open our gifts under the tree.
My favorite holiday tradition is decorating with the family. It allows for us to laugh and create more memories.
I love Essie’s nail polishes they’re to die for 😍. And our family holiday tradition is to travel as a family and visit friends and family; and simply just enjoy the Christmas spirit.
I get red during the holidays but this color would be great for NYE.
My favorite holiday traditions are decorating, making Christmas cookies, drinking hot chocolate, watching Hallmark Christmas movies, taking the kids to see Candy Cane Lane, and listening to Christmas music.
My favorite holiday tradition is in Christmas eve preparing food with family, catching up, playing games, dancing, while staying up, and then opening presents at midnight!
Favorite Holiday tradition is putting up the Christmas tree with my two boys and husband while we listen to Christmas music!
My favorite holiday tradition is spending time with family , watching Xmas movies and ice skating! 🙂
I’m loving all the Essie colors, the mauve is such a pretty color
To transition from fall into winter. My favorite Holiday tradition is having Kris Kringle with my closest girlfriends. We have been doing it as far back as I can remember with the same group of friends. Now, over a decade later, we are still doing it with each other but we added a baby Kris Kringle. Most of the girlfriends have babies and toddlers now and they’re multiplying every year. We have decided to do one for the kids this year so that it isn’t overwhelming. So what we do is in addition to picking one of the girl’s names, we pick names from the children as well and buy a gift for both names picked. Although most of us live in other cities now, we always find time once a year in December to fly back home to our home city of New Orleans to do our gift exchange. I love this tradition because no matter we end up in life, we still make time for each other and always back to our roots. I love
That we can continue the tradition and add our little
Ones this year. We are also expecting two more baby girls in our group before the end of the year is here! It’s truly the most wonderful time of the year.

My favorite holiday tradition is actually two things from growing up.
1. Always driving around looking at holiday decorations lighting up houses and streets late at night. Coming home to a pot of yummy homemade hot chocolate.
2. Throughout the month to primarily the week of Christmas my family would play all sorts of Christmas movies or movies with Christmas throughout the whole day. Anything, my favorite was always Little Women, Babe, and The White Christmas.

My favorite “tradition” during the holiday seasons definitely has to be the whole “get festive with your make up” and fashion, as well as the gifting to those who I treasure in my life. 🙂
My favorite holiday tradition is buying one of those tins of popcorn and watching all the sappy Christmas hallmark movies with my mom. I am a hopeless romantic and love them! I just know that some handsome Christmas hating grinch is out there waiting for me to help him find his Christmas spirit! 😋
My favorite family holiday tradition is waking up Christmas morning having my girls jump in bed with us and we all open our Christmas stockings as we are all in matching PJ’s. They are now 30 and 32 and with my little grand babies.

Loved this post!
My favorite Christmas tradition is making Christmas cards for all my friends and family. When I was in college I couldn’t afford to buy gifts for my love ones so I would go to Michaels Art Store the week before Christmas to get all the sales on stencils, stamps, anything card making really. I would stay up all night customizing each card for each person I love. Now that I’m older and I can afford the gifts, I still make the cards because it just became such a tradition, for my self and for my friends + family!
My absolute favorite holiday tradition is picking out the Christmas tree with my mom. It was only her and I growing up, and money was usually scarce (but her being an amazing mom always found a way to give me amazing Christmases growing up) so picking out the tree and decorating it with her was always so special to me because I really got to spend time with her.
My favorite holiday thing to do is baking with my friends!

Growing up in Vietnam where the celebration of Christmas is totally different from where I live in Australia now. However, the traditional that’s will be always stay with me is making the Christmas log cake that my Mum always made for us kids. I am carrying on this tradition and making the cake for my little family too. I am unable to to share the physical cakes with my Mum and family who still live in Vietnam but the cake always brought me back the memories and the warm in my heart.

I’ve never been brave enough to wear dark nail polish because I have the world’s unsteadiest hands. But this may very well be the season I give it a good hot go haha
I come from a very big extended family but had to move away a few years back so Xmas to me is just so special simply by having everyone in one place, eating and playing and talking and chilling together 🙂

My favourite Christmas tradition is gathering up with my family and celebrating Christmas and my birthday (it’s on Christmas Eve) with the feast that my grandma makes! This year I turn 20 and it’s a legal age for me to start drinking so I’ll probably celebrate with a glass of champaign!
Xoxo
To start with, I just love everything at Christmas! I like this contemplative pre-Christmas time, in which biscuits are baked together, you can drink a warm punch on the illuminated Christmas markets and the first Christmas presents are bought and packaged. And the most beautiful is the annual conjoining of our Christmas tree, that’s just wonderful. Christmas is the time of contemplation, it is the time of the family I would say, and therefore this time is so fabled wonderful!
I’m so sad I didn’t see this post earlier! I just got a manicure for my Christmas party and was looking for something different and this shade would have been perfect. This a color I’ll definitely be trying on ASAP, thanks for sharing!
Hi Chriselle!
My favorite holiday tradition was going Christmas tree shopping at Home Depot with my parents and sister. My dad would pick out trees and let my sister and I evaluate each one until we found the one we loved! We’d haul it home on top of our car, set it up in the living room and start decorating while listening to Baby Face’s Christmas album. I loved picking out my favorite ornaments to hang and seeing how beautiful the tree looked after it was all lit up. Unfortunately I’m away at school at FIDM LA so I won’t be home to carry on this tradition this year. But one thing I can do is listen to Baby Face’s album and reflect on happy holiday memories.
My favorite holiday tradition is decorating the house with my family!
My favorite holiday tradition is going home for the holidays (my family is in Seoul while I’m finishing up my bachelor’s degree in the States), spending Christmas Eve chilling with my parents, then going to Christmas Eve service in the evening at our church to remember what the true meaning of Christmas is. Then, on Christmas Day, my parents and I spend the entire day hanging out together by eating a delicious home cooked meal then going to the mall to do some shopping and to watch a movie together!
I love Essie polishes. My favorite holiday tradition is actually painting my nails with my three younger sisters. 💗
My favourite holiday tradition has to be the new traditions we are making this year as husband and wife in the US for the very first time! Decorating the tree with our rescue dog and adding baubles to the tree from all of our many adventures in the years we’ve been together, traditions have to start somewhere! Love this post Chriselle, so glam x
Love opening one present on Christmas Eve! This year with three girls, it’ll be super special! Love your IG!
My favorite tradition is me and my brother always end up watching cheesy Christmas movies together!
One of my favorite holiday traditions is watching White Christmas, having homemade hot chocolate and decorating the tree. My mother started the tradition with my sister, brother and I and since my sister was married first she has kept the tradition going at her house. So my parents, my husband and little boy along with my brother sister inlaw and their 2 kids still all get together every year. It is a lot fun.

My favorite holiday tradition is going back to Korea and seeing my grandparents! We always go to church, eat really good food, and then play card games. Looking forward to this is what’s keeping me together during finals week!!!
What a great idea… 12 days of holiday fun!
My favorite tradition growing up was always being at my grandparents house with my Mom and family, especially all us kids sitting at the kids table, being silly and having a Christmas party of our own. My cousins are like my siblings as I am an only child and now we live across the country form each other and we miss each other so much. We are still so close in heart though. As I’ve grown up, things change of course and now Christmas Eve is hosted at my house and my chef husband and his family cook up a storm. (I help a bit of course.lol)
The real fun though is watching my little girl and for the first time this year my baby boy open up gifts on Christmas morning and having a cozy breakfast in pyjamas and lounging around together amidst the snow, gifts and wrapping paper lol. That’s my new fave holiday tradition.
(sorry bout the novel.) Lol
Happy Holidays!

I love using unconventional colors in a beauty palette! My favorite Christmas tradition is our Christmas Eve family reunion dinner. It is so nice to spend time with the whole family the night before Christmas with good food!
Those colors beautiful! And definitely a twist on the traditional holiday champagnes, reds and silvers. I have to say though, I think any color is capable of being a holiday/new years banger so long as it’s vibrant with a pop of glitter for the glam.
You are the best blogger,I love everything you post

This year I have moved to Seoul, South Korea to study abroad so I am not able to participate in the Christmas traditions back home.
My favourite Christmas tradition though, is going to my grandmothers house to cook the Christmas dinner.
My grandmother will always put Christmas music on and dance around in the kitchen, there is no better way to get in the Christmas spirit.
All about the unconventional! It’s a running joke with my friends that they can always expect me to have he most creative/interesting nails because I hate neutrals 🙈
Stunning! These colors are so inspiring! I usually wear all black, but these vivid jewel tones are a great way for me to experiment with color! Thanks for sharing!
Love the nail polish colors. Having my family together and enjoying each other‘s company while eating and watching Christmas movies .
My favorite holiday tradition is exchanging gifts with my friends from back home when I come home from college and seeing how much thought we all put into each other’s gifts because we know each other so well 🙂
I always look forward to getting my nails done, especially during the holiday season, but I usually struggle to pick out the right nail color! Usually, I go for pink and sparkles, but sometimes, I love to stay classy and choose a shimmery champagne color. I absolutely love Essie’s “For The Twill of It”! I think it goes along with different outfits and I just love metallic on your fingers. I’m excited to see what you have in store for us for the next 11 days! Xoxo
My favorite holiday tradition is being reunited with the family.

Hello Chriselle! I LOVE Essie nail polish! Wicked is my favorite color of all time! My favorite holiday tradition is going to Christmas Eve service at church and wearing matching Christmas pajamas! Too cute!
One of my favorites honestly is snuggling in front of a fire with books and tea!! And watching movies like Love Actually, the Grinch, and gotta love the Holiday.
One of my favorite holiday traditions is my husband and I going out to a tree farm on the day after Thanksgiving to search for, select and cut down a tree to bring home + decorate as our Christmas tree! We drink hot chocolate + relish in the start to the Christmas season. It’s something simple but I look forward to it every year ever since I moved out to the Northwest!
Hi,
I actually look foward to starting new holiday traditions with our son of 3, who has already started asking lots of questions about Christmas. He has told us he wants a decorated tree. My husband and I never bothered with Christmas decoration but I guess we will start now! And, I can’t wait to see the wonder and joy in our little one’s eyes.
My favorite holiday tradition is when my the majority of my family (9 other siblings plus their kids and my parents) come together in one house to cook up a feast and simply enjoy each other’s company. Activities range from creating gingerbread houses out of graham crackers, frosting and school milk cartons to watching a movie at my parents’ house. It’s fun seeing all of the nieces and nephews together and being able to catch up with siblings I don’t get to see very often.
Love the nail polish! My favorite holiday tradition is pretty basic-getting together with the family to decorate the house and christmas tree while listening to christmas songs, and sipping on hot chocolate-the atmosphere is just so light and everyone’s catching up and chilling together, which we rarely get to do anymore!
thank you for this amazing opportunity…my tradition every since i have had my two sons is to have a calendar christmas tree with 25 gifts -surprises for every day until the 25th of December, they totally love it and im so so happy!!!
My holiday tradition is with my sister who lives in another state than I do. We don’t see each other at Christmas and instead of sending each other gifts, we set an amount to spend and each of us buys something for ourself that we really want but we don’t tell what it is until Christmas Day when we email each other a photo of the gift we bought ourselves.
I also love the nail polish color.
Love these nail polishes, as someone who typically sticks to a pinky nude these are awesome! My favorite christmas tradition is decorating the tree with my dad, we always try and get the biggest christmas tree that we can fit in the house. What’s awesome is this year my boyfriend from Japan is visiting and he’s never really experienced christmas before so its so much fun!
It has been so long since I used nail Polish. These gorgeous shades make me itch for my collection 😆. Guess painting my nails in holiday colours is a lovely tradition to have for Christmas right?

Going to Balboa nights the first weekend of December in San Diego!
Love Essie nail polish and love Rebecca Minkoff – of course I will love a collab!
One of my favorite holiday traditions is baking various Christmas treats with my mom. It’s a great way to spend quality time together and have great conversation – all while making delicious sweets! My second favorite tradition is eating all the treats… 🙂
You and Chloe should make some Christmas cookies in a vlog!
Love your nude lips in this post!
Favorite holiday tradition is putting up the xmas lights outside. 🙂
My favorite holiday tradition is setting up the Christmas tree with my family! I used to live in Los Angeles too and we were able to have big Christmas trees. Now I live in New York with my husband, and at first I was a bit sad about the lack of space for the big Christmas tree (and less family members), but it got me thinking outside the box which turned out to be a lot of fun!
P.S. I LOVE your makeup look here and Essie’s nail polish set!
My favorite holiday tradition has to be baking cookies and decorating the gingerbread houses! Its such a fun and sugary treat to get into the holiday spirit!
Trading Christmas ornaments with my old roommate! Still need to decide what to get for her this year.
Love the look!
I loved the new mini shades!!
One of my family traditions consist in the placement of the ornaments on our Christmas tree. The youngest ones (usually children) in the family have to place the first ornaments on the tree. One ornament per person. Our Christmas tree can’t be decorated until we do this tradition that gives the start to our holidays and cherish our loved ones.
My favorite Christmas tradition is preparing stockings and putting up decorations with my sister in my parent’s house 🙂 Just seeing the lights and feeling the excitement is the best part! Thanks so much for this giveaway Chriselle! #12DaysGiveaway

My favourite holiday tradition doesn’t actually directly pertain to the holidays, but it’s always during the holiday season! My little sister’s birthday is December 16th, and being only 9 days away from Christmas, the rest of my family likes to celebrate her birthday and Christmas all in one, but I make sure to always celebrate her birthday singularly and on her actual birthday! It always leads to some quality sister time. 🙂
My favorite holiday tradition is HOMEMADE APPLE PIE. my cousin makes the best apple pie but it only emerges around the holiday times…. it’s ruined all other apple pies for me. I can’t wait :’)

So cool! I don’t have too many holiday traditions but most of my cousins and I got together last year to have dinner (there are 19 of us but not all in CA!) and we’re hoping to keep this tradition 🙂
I have always loved Essie nail polishes. This one is abosolute lush 🤩💖. And yeah my favourite holiday tradition is dinning with all my family and relatives that come together to celebrate the festival. More the merrier😍✨🤗
Oh my word! I’m obsessed with the oil/metallic sheen of that nail polish!! And when paired with gold accents, oh so chic! Love you!
Hi Chriselle!
My favourite holiday tradition is the meal that we have always at my grandmothers house! 🙂 It makes me so happy to see my family so happy and together!
For the past 3 years i spent in on mission trips sharing christmas with people that i may not see everyday but hold a special place in my heart
Love the subtle shimmer. Makes it perfect for winter/holiday parties
My family holiday tradition was always playing charades and singing Christmas songs as the clock strikes 12. Now as an international student in the US, my Christmas tradition has changed to spending the holidays with my friends and boyfriend, creating new memories together 🙂
I think for me my favorite thing is being with family. Being Puerto Rican our family is huge and we get together, dance, eat..etc. and its the best feeling to know that we have each other. Materialistic things come and go but family is forever!
My favourite part about the holidays is seeing the Christmas lights! It makes me feel like I’m on a different planet altogether.
My favorite holiday tradition is going to the Old Mission Inn and Naples Island to see all the beautiful Christmas lights. Love the colors!! 🙂
Dec. 1 of every year, my family puts up the Christmas tree and decorates!
As a mom, my favourite holiday tradition is decorate with my daughter our Christmas tree . It involves special ornaments. A few years ago, before my husband and I had our daughter, we decided to start collecting Christmas ornaments as a souvenir. In each city we visit or in every travel we make, we buy one. Now that our daughter travels with us it’s become a really lovely family tradition. It reminds us places we’ve been or things we have done.
Our favorite tradition is secret Santa with all of my siblings…theres about 7 of us plus the husbands or girlfriends or boyfriends so we just enjoy getting a random person and getting them things on their list and guessing who we each have! Happy holidays!
Love your holiday nail selection!!! <3
Yessssss For the twill of it was my first essie polish and I can never get enough of it. It is just so gorgeous! You look so good wearing it too 😍
My favorite holiday tradition is going to this Christmas eve service with my family every year. At the end of it you get hot cocoa, cookies, and an ornament to take home and as a kid I looked forward to it all winter break long. Those ornaments now cover 75% of our Christmas tree at home 😂
Yaas! I have the monochrome shade and it’s so unique and different. Never thought of using it for a holiday look – will have to give it a try!
Love your blog!
I’ve followed your Instagram for a while and just found your blog! I’m obsessed with your style and beauty looks, they are absolutely fabulous. I’m half Cuban so my favorite holiday tradition would be the great Cuban food we always get as well as the salsa that tends to resonate throughout the house, vibrating through each one of us and inspiring us to dance. We always have lechon which is pork shoulder or thigh torn up in this fantastic juice, maduros or sweet plantains, black beans and rice, yuca which is a very fibrous root vegetable, and every year I make a tres leches cake. It is an angle food cake soaked in heavy whipping cream, evaporated milk, and condensed milk and topped with a marshmallowesque merengue. No one diets at Christmas in my household.
I LOVE Essie nail polish! All of the shades are gorgeous!
My favorite holiday tradition is baking cookies with my mom- we love spending time together in the kitchen 🙂
So glam!

Love these colors! My favorite holiday tradition is baking treats and sharing food with family and friends. Everyone always rolls out their favorite dishes, which means there is a lot of heart on the table!
Also, LOVE that you are bringing this back this year! Such a great way to connect with your readers and to create donations out of valuable partnerships.

My family has a tradition of mixing up tradition — adding something new or different each year. We’ve spent Christmas in New York and taken in the holiday show at Radio City Music Hall. We’ve had “orphan Christmas.” We’ve gone for dim sum and a movie. We’ve attended a Nutcracker performance on Christmas Day. One year we had a family brunch and sang carols. The recording of that is hilarious. A couple of years we nixed the traditional feast for soup dinners followed by made-from-scratch cookies. This year is up for grabs, though my Mom is game for going to a nearby resort hotel. However, baking is the tradition we sustain year after year: rugelach (though I’m trying some new fillings), a fruitcake from a friend’s Tennessee gramma’s recipe, ginger snaps, sugar cookies, and one new cookie each year (lemon bars, cardamom cake cookies, florentines, gingerbread, Anzac, citrus shortbread, bourbon balls, Mexican hot chocolate).
Yeiii second round the 12 days of Chriselle, hope this time I will be the lucky one hahaha
my favorite tradition on Christmas is going with my family have dinner and leave the place with a chocolate milkshake on hand…. its the best because we go back to our hotel and cuddle and talk a lot…. We are always on a trip for the holidays so no matter where we go we always find somewhere with chocolate milkshake!!

Such a smart idea to use nail polish as a color pop for your look. Plus it lasts longer than one pair of heels or handbag for the week too!

[…] The first day of the 12 Days of Chriselle, I teamed up with Essie to create this amazing unconventional holiday glam look. I love the classic holiday colors just as much as the next girl- but if you really want to stand out at your holiday party, try mixing it up a little bit. from The Chriselle Factorhttps://thechrisellefactor.com/2017/12/unconventional-holiday-glam/ […]
