Just like fashion and beauty trends, there are also skincare trends! Not too long ago, Korean skincare took the world by storm (remember my post about it here?) and now there’s a whole new skincare trend taking its place. Have you guys ever heard of “glass skin?” It’s basically taking the 11 step Korean skincare routine to the next level. Keep scrolling to see how I get the most hydrated and smooth complexion ever!
The Glass Skin trend is basically all about moisture, moisture, moisture! Getting your complexion to a place that it’s so intensely hydrated and smooth that it looks like, well, glass! Hydration and moisture = youthfulness and just like anything, it doesn’t come easy. Though I wish it could be as easy as a few products and a good night’s sleep- getting your skin where you want it doesn’t happen overnight! Remember to trust the process.
Finding products that really sink into your skin and don’t just sit on top of it is the biggest thing to look for! These products really get me the perfect amount of moisture I want without looking greasy:
To get your best skin, it’s important to get all of the dirt/makeup/pollution off! I use a cleansing balm to really melt everything away and leave my skin refreshed and ready for moisture. This cleansing balm is a super luxe gel-balm that gets all of my makeup off while leaving my skin feeling clean and not dehydrated.
2. Serum
The next step is a serum. This one is a bit on the pricey side, but it’s worth every penny! It’s made with hyaluronic acid to smooth and plump your skin for the best complexion ever. It’s like an instant skin refresh in a bottle!
Like I said before, the key to glass skin is smooth and MOISTURIZED skin! This moisturizer leaves my skin feeling super dewy and radiant. I really like that a little goes a long way, too!
4. Mist
A good face mist is essential to skin hydration. This one is infused with tons of minerals and antioxidants to not only give you moisture but nutrients as well!
5. Sheet Mask
If you guys remember from this post here, I love to put a super moisture heavy face mask on to finish off my skincare routine. I feel like it really pushes in all the goodness I just put on my skin yet adds another layer of moisture to make my skin it’s very best.
Last but not least, I’ve been adding this skin perfector into my routine. I’ll usually put this on before I put on my makeup to give me a perfectly smooth base. Not only does it help minimize the appearance of my pores, but it makes my foundation glide on like an absolute dream.
So what do you guys think about the glass skin trend? Are you going to give it a try? Let me know in the comments below and have a fantastic week!

I also need to add sheet masks to my regimen. There are so many to choose from! Does anybody have recommendations on quality sheet masks in addition to Avene?
Thanks for sharing your fave products and beauty advice! Can’t wait to try! 💕

I don´t think I will ever achieve glass skin with my adult acne, but I agree about hydration. It just makes everything look so much younger.

Phew Chriselle! I’m relieved to know that it doesn’t require 11 products, just the dedication to care for the skin you’re in. As an exhausted mom, it can be tempting to just head straight to bed, but then I remind myself that skin care is a great way to make time for myself! Count me in!
Great steps! I definitely would love to achieve the “glass” skin look. Thanks for sharing. 🙂

Like all the others, your skin is AMAZING and INSPIRING! Would love to try this.
Are there more affordable alternatives? The products listed are ~$200 (more or less) each, which would cost in the ~$1000?
Your insight about this would be fantastic!
So grateful for your work.
Great post! You really do have beautiful skin. I have very oily skin and this is definitely something I would like to try. I’ve heard so much positivity about the Korean skin care.

The Hyaluronic Water Drench Moisturizer Serum from Peter Thomas Roth is another great option and it’s a little on the affordable bracket too!
