Happy Good Friday my loves! In honor of Easter & all its festivities, I’m donning pastels harder than usual in this matching floral sweater and skirt set. I’m sure many have you noticed by now, but my favorite silhouette is the A-line full skirt. (as seen HERE & HERE). Like the pencil skirt, as I talked about in yesterday’s post, it’s one of those universally flattering fits for all body types. When I saw this 2 piece floral print set, I immediately thought it would be a bit over the top if I paired this loud color & print from top to bottom, but I was wrong! The fact that the sweater & skirt are different materials breaks up the pattern making it more wearable.
This week has been so hectic!!! Between meeting my team for shoots and then going home to Chloe, I also started working out and I picked up a few exciting projects like styling Satine’s spring lookbook! And on top of being a new mommy .. you just imagine the craziness! So after my appointment at the chiropractor (I have major shoulder pains if you guys remember from this post), I decided to take a short walk just to get some fresh air & to get inspired! I came across this beautiful spot by the ocean where these flowers were in full bloom! And as cheesy as it sounds, it just reminded me that beauty & inspiration is everywhere in this world, we just have to take the time to see it. And on that note ..
