NYFW Day 1- Silver Accents

Photography by Esther Jung

Per usual New York Fashion Week was a complete whirlwind. This would officially mark my 6th season, and it seems as if it only gets more and more exciting.  Every season I make an ode to myself to get a reasonably decent amount of sleep during the week, but of course the minute we landed in NY we hit the ground running. On a lucky night we would get 3-5 hours of shut eye. I had our whole Chriselle inc. team with me this time around, which allowed us to get some really amazing content not only for the blog, but also for our youtube channel. We will be releasing our NYFW video very soon!

I was particularly excited to rock my short A-Line bob for the first time during NYFW. Funny how hair determines not only your mood and style, but also the way you dress. With my new look  i’ve been rocking more streamlined & sleeker outfits with strong silhouettes such as this asymmetrical skirt from Finders Keepers, and voluminous peplum from Cameo. I’ve been really into Australian labels lately, and hope I can make a visit out there one day! As you guys know my obsession with gold, i’ve been slowly warming up to silver accents.  In fact my best companions for the week were these  Gianvito Rossi silver pumps (as seen HERE) along with this gorgeous Rafe minaudiere  faceted mother of pearl and stainless steel. Goodbye gold, hello silver!
