I’m currently writing this post to you guys from my hotel room in New York!! Preparing for this trip has been really hectic, so during most of last week I’ve really been relying on easy and fun dresses & keeping my hair back in a low-ponytail to keep me stress free. This dress has a young and feminine silhouette, but adding darker accessories can instantly and a cool edge to an outfit (like here!) I like pairing this grey dress with black brogues for a mix of minimal and clean elements. And like I said before, one pieces (dresses) are a great way to look instantly put together! This dress is pretty simple, but I love the clean lines that gives it more dimension. Not to mention it’s super comfortable, perfect for running around LA in!
One of the best things about packing for a trip is discovering hidden treasures in your closet you forgot about. I recently rediscovered this Givenchy bag, and I forgot how much I loved it! The metallic color is great for transitioning from summer to fall, and the cross body shape helps me stay hands-free when I’m out with Chloe! Since I’m wearing a monochromatic outfit, I like throwing in a metallic element to shake things up.

It is such a great feeling of finding something in your closet that you didn’t know was there! It is so exciting and it feels as if the item is brand new! I love monochromatic looks. As a college student who also loves fashion, it is so much easier for me to pick outfits in the same color scheme, especially for fall and winter! It allows me to stay looking chic around campus, but at the same time not feeling to overdressed when almost everyone is in sweatpants or leggings.
