But First, Coffee.

It’s been a while since I’ve worn such a tight and short mini skirt. But as I said in my How I Lost 40lb post, my weight is pretty much back to before I got pregnant with Chloe, so I feel confident enough to wear such a fitted mini skirt! I’m pairing this mini skirt with a loose effortless sweater, so it looks a lot more casual. And as you guys know, I’ve also been obsessed with these white flats. (As seen here!) I love how they make an outfit look more preppy and sporty. Not to mention, I’ve got my whole team to start wearing white sneakers! This plaid high waisted mini skirt is great because it can be such a statement piece but here I’m keeping it casual for Monday meetings!

Also, I’m drinking coffee again. Although I quit coffee for a year because of pregnancy and breastfeeding, it was very hard to go without it because of my demanding work hours (and Chloe hours)! Before, Chloe would fall asleep at 2am and wake at 5am, but I’d have work at 10am so I really didn’t have any chance to sleep. (Luckily her sleeping schedule is more normalized now!) I usually try to get lattes with almond or coconut milk just to get a small energy boost, and black coffee if I really need the caffeine. Black coffee is awesome because it’s low in calories and is great for your metabolism, so I like to take it before working out.
