So, this outfit definitely strays from my usual feminine and minimal look. The trousers and over-sized knit combo is more tomboy than I’m used to! But the diamond choker gives it a cool-girl vibe.There’s something very badass about a diamond choker. I’m totally channeling my inner Ri-Ri! I like mixing a more structured pair of trousers with a more loose fit knit for a really effortless, ‘I don’t care’ vibe. But the choker definitely adds an edge to this outfit.
Though I love a good pair of jeans, trousers are a great alternative! They’re more tailored, and can be easily dressed up or down. And you guys will never guess where these are from! Forever 21! (Let’s keep this between us ..)ย But like I said in my 7 tips to look expensive, tailored trousers can instantly do that!ย When shopping, it’s really important to not be blinded by labels. Though you can’t beat a good investment piece, looking ultra chic on a budget is totally attainable! I really love how subtle these printed trousers are. I think the check print is one of the most classic and sophisticated prints for pants!
