Summer Slides

Dainty Details

I love how this French Connection and layered necklaces add a feminine touch to my look!

Iโ€™m adding one more hairstyle to my Hair Styles for Lazy Days, and thatโ€™s the half-up-half-down bun. It was so humid in Cannes and not to mention my schedule was so packed I really didnโ€™t have time to do my hair. I found that this was such an easy way to instantly pull a look together while keeping it super cool. This hairstyle literally took me two minutes and I finished it off with my favorite texturizing spray (as seen in my 7 Favorite Products for Thick Hair!)

I decided to go with a more laid back look for walking around Cannes with these wide legged trousers. Striped trousers already make me look super tall so I just paired it with these simple Dear Frances slides. The one time I decided to wear heels on this trip, I slipped on the stairs and basically tore the skin off my leg! Needless to say, I lived in flats for the rest of the trip after my tumble. There’s nothing better than having a good pair of comfortable shoes that work with your outfit. Check out some of my under $150 slides picks down below!

Luckily these slides are super elegant and I could dress them up or down. Because this hairstyle and pant silhouette are so strong, I decided to add more dainty details to this look. The lace details in this French Connection top combined with my layered gold necklaces still gave my look a very feminine touch. Remember itโ€™s all about balance. Happy Friday!
