Post Travel Head-to-Toe Skincare Routine
I don’t know about you, but my skin always needs a lot of help after I get back from a trip. I usually end up with a breakout and my skin is always a little dry and dull.
With all the travel during the holiday season, I really wanted to share how I get my skin back to normal after a trip! So whether you’re going home for Christmas or going on a family vacation, this head-to-toe skincare routine is just for you!
Along with getting my skin back to normal, I also have a post-travel ritual to help my body and mind readjust.
The first thing I do is get in a little workout! I like to do a 30-minute run to clear out all the toxins and then sit in the sauna and sweat it all out for about 20 minutes! When I fly internationally, I always try to arrive at my destination in the late afternoon, that way I can do my workout. It helps me get my body adjusted to the new time and sleep as opposed to arriving in the morning and being exhausted the whole day!
If there’s time, I love to get a quick massage to reset, as well as eat a really light dinner and drink TONS of water! Hydration, people, hydration!
