I’ve slowly been introducing more fall shades to my makeup bag.
Now that it’s a few weeks into Fall, and October (when did that happen??) I wanted to share how I’ve been transitioning my makeup. While I’ll still dip back into some summer glow favorites, I’ve been loving adding some high shine and more berry tones into my looks. This summer was all about peachy colors like I mentioned in this blog post about my summer makeup routine… but now I’m loving more warm tone pinks, reds, and berries.
Think strong brows, high shine shadow, and a berry lip. Keep scrolling to check out what new products I’ve added into my makeup bag and the couple old favorites that are still going strong!
Old Favorites
Hourglass Scattered Light Shadow
You’ve probably seen me talk about this shadow a few times before on my Instagram stories as well as in my Summer Glow Post! It’s been one of my favorite shadows for a few months now and because they have such an awesome range of colors, I can’t wait to use them all throughout fall and winter.! This cream-based shadow is very pigmented so a little bit goes a long way. Just a swipe of your finger gives such a gorgeous wash of shimmer! This is also a great way to update your look for holiday gatherings as well.
Hourglass Arch Brow Micro-Sculpting Pencil
I got my eyebrows micro bladed a few months ago (check out the full story here!) and I’ve been so happy with the results. However, sometimes I like to go in and give my brows a little extra fluff… and that’s when I reach for this Micro-Sculpting Pencil from Hourglass! It’s super thin and very precise so you can get exactly the shape you want with crazy precision!
Shiseido Synchro Skin Radiant Foundation
This Shiseido foundation has been in my makeup bag for a while now and I’m STILL loving it! It’s lightweight but gives great coverage, not to mention SPF 20! It’s long-wearing, looks really natural and really buildable for even more coverage!
New Products
Berry Lip
There are a few shades of berry and dusty rose lips that I’m loving right now. The one I’m wearing here is a Lily Maymac shade which is a gorgeous warm rose but I’ve also been grabbing this gorgeous berry color (#502) from Giorgio Armani in their Lip Maestro collection. Playing around with new lip shades is such an easy and affordable way to transition your makeup!
Shiseido Inner Glow Cheek Powder Blush in Berry Dawn
Like a good lip color, a berry blush has been essential to warming my face up for fall! On any given day, I’ll usually gravitate towards more peachy tones but to shake it up this season, this berry blush from Shiseido in Berry Dawn is perfect! I love the shade Solar Haze in the same Inner Glow Cheek Powder Blush already so changing up the shade was the perfect way to transition.
Essie Gel Couture Polish in Sunrush Metal
Another great and affordable way to transition into fall is with your nail polish. This one from Essie is the perfect combination of peachy and warm golden! It’s like the color of the most gorgeous sunset you’ve ever seen! I also LOVE the fact that it’s from their Gel Couture collection which means it stays on like a gel manicure but you can do it at home! What’s not to love?
Do you all like to change up your makeup for the seasons? Are there any new products you’re loving? Drop a comment down below and let me know!
