Worth the $$

Some things are really special and worth the pretty penny.

I’ve been so lucky to try so many different products with my job across all price points and I can say with full confidence that a lot of times, the less expensive options are just as good as the pricey ones. However, I have come across some products that are without a doubt worth the money. They might be on the more expensive side, but I cherish each of them differently so I wanted to give you on honest and worth it review.

From spending a little extra money for something that’s made with better quality or even paying a little more for a product that your skin will love, I gathered some of my favorite products that I think are worth their price tag. Especially now that we’re officially in the month of love, it’s the PERFECT time to treat yourself to something you wouldn’t normally buy.

Keep scrolling to check out my picks!

La Mer Cool Gel Cream

I was introduced to this cream a few months ago and it’s been on my top shelf ever since. It’s very cooling, which is great as we start to get into the warmer months. It was created for combination skin but it’s ideal if you have more sensitive skin, too. The gel cream is extremely hydrating and moisturizing, and leaves my skin feeling and looking radiant.

Dior New Skin Effect Enzyme Solution

Adding this to my skincare routine was a complete game changer. I use it after cleansing and before I put on my serum and moisturizer, by putting the product on a cotton pad and gently swiping it all over my face. The texture is almost watery, so it absorbs into my skin very quickly. It leaves my skin feeling super soft and preps it for the rest of my routine!

Vitner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum

As I’m sure you guys have figured out by now, I love my serums and oils. This one, in particular, is actually a cult favorite in the beauty industry… and for good reason! It has 22 active organic botanicals in it and with just a few drops, this serum brightens, firms, improves clarity, tones, and gives your skin radiance as well as it has tons of anti-inflammatory nutrients. What more could you want?

I’ve been a huge fan of Tatcha products for ages now, so this primer fits right at home in my routine. It feels like velvet and is a primer balm that has silk extracts in it. It primes and reduces the appearance of your pores while preventing breakouts and reducing any excess shine that might build up throughout the day. I’ve used and tested a ton of primers before and this one is unlike any other. Everything about it feels luxe and lightweight and gives my skin a gorgeous smooth and even base for my makeup. It also has ingredients that fight environmental stressors so I know my skin is being protected in this beautiful but very polluted Los Angeles air!
This is a two in one oil and serum, so you can just imagine how much I love it! It’s amazing to use when my skin starts feeling dry. It’s got the power of a serum with the nourishment of an oil, so my skin feels hydrated, refreshed and radiant. I use a couple of drops at night to complete my skincare routine.
If you’re looking for a serum that’s very light, lifts and brightens your skin – look no further! As I’m getting older, I’m starting to notice some fine lines and baby wrinkles around my eyes and forehead so after reading the amazing reviews, I was so excited to give it a try. Worth every penny!

Byredo Bibliotheque Eau de Parfum

This scent is a total dream scent and I have the hand lotion and candle as well. The entire CINCteam is obsessed with it and I get compliments everywhere I go. For some reason, I feel like perfumes don’t stay on me all day, but with this one by Byredo lasts. This scent was inspired by libraries (hence the name!) and has a warm and rich vibe that verges on being slightly masculine with a touch of vanilla.

Fine Jewelry

I love a good costume jewelry pieces, but there’s nothing quite like the real thing. From a simple chain like this one to a customized necklace or statement earrings, treating yourself to some nice jewelry is the best. With real metals, it’s also nice that you don’t ever have to take it off and risk losing it.

The price tag may seem daunting at first, but think of the cost-per-wear of something you’ll have on every day and something that you can pass on in the future. I know that classic pieces like the ones I have in this story will not only ‘spark joy’ for me now, but for my girls in the future as well.

Do you guys have anything that you glady buy despite the price tag? Let me know in the comments below!
