In all the chaos that has been my life the last few months, finally having a little oasis means the world to me.
The family and I finally moved out of my in-law’s place and into our house only a few weeks ago! There’s still been some adjusting and growing pains, but I can’t tell you how good it feels to be back home! While there’s still some work to do here and there, I’m overjoyed that my bathroom was one of the first rooms that I was able to fully move into!
And you know what that means – a new bathroom shelfie! Well, maybe not an actual shelf, but since I wanted the updated house to feel more minimal, we decided not to add any shelving to the bathrooms as that would just result in me adding more products and more clutter.
Here’s a little peek at what’s been on my countertop these days. A lot of old favorites like the Dr. Barbara Strum Hyaluronic Serum and the Darphin Hydraskin Light, but some new favorites have been added to the mix as well.
If you remember this post here, I’ve been really interested in clean beauty since my pregnancy, and now that I’ve had Colette, I’m still in love with it! Some of my favorites have been from the brand Youth to the People. The brand is 100% Vegan and made in California!
Nothing says oasis like a beautiful burning candle! This one from Byredo has been such a great scent to have in the bathroom and I love their hand lotion as well.
When it comes to storage, I’ve got a whole set up in my closet (closet reveal coming soon!) but for now, I’m keeping my faves close by! Thankfully the “his and hers” sinks give Allen some room too! Would you guys be interested in seeing Allen’s bathroom shelfie one day? Let me know in the comments below!
