If you remember from this post here, I talked about how a great statement coat is the key to a winning winter look. And let me just say, this Louis Vuitton coat (similar here) is pretty much the coolest statement coat EVER. Everything from the gold buttons to the red details and the pops of red make this coat a total show stopper. I loved this coat so much I wore it during Paris Couture Week too! (Have you seen my recap yet?)
When I was styling an outfit around this coat, I knew I wanted to go with black accessories to balance out the navy. I wore some amazing black leather pants, (similar here) some black pumps and my small Chanel bag (similar here) to compliment the coat. I never thought I would end up loving leather pants as much as I do now! For some reason, I had always imagined them to be slightly constricting and sweaty, but boy was I wrong! These pants in particular (similar here) are super comfortable and add such a cool edge to any look. It just goes to show you that when it comes to fashion, you should never say never!
