CINC in the City: Kate Somerville

Happy Friday, everyone!  I wanted to take this time to officially introduce the CINCteam!  We’ll be highlighting the team every Friday on the blog from now on!

As many of you know, my #CINCteam means the absolute world to me.  Since we’re such a small team, we’re constantly doing everything together and they’re basically my second family! So when I get the chance to treat them, I always do. Thanks to the amazing Kate Somerville team (shout out to Kiok & Meg!) the #CINCteam was able to get pampered at the clinic and really got to understand their skin types and what that really meant. My team has guys and girls ranging from early 20’s to their early 30’s, with all different skin types and different problem areas and the amazing skin experts from Kate Somerville broke down each persons’s skin type and were able to recommend products to help them achieve their very best skin ever!

Chriselle (@chrisellelim)
Skin Type: Normal/Combo
Skin Concern: I have really congested skin on my chin. I happen to get a lot of whiteheads on my cheeks and chin and it can oftentimes make my makeup look bumpy.  I always have to use a good exfoliator and I try to do extractions once a month.

Candice (@candice.kao)
Skin Type: Normal/Combo
Skin Concern: Hyperpigmentation, discolored skin and acne scarring.

Idalia (@idaliasalsamendi)
Skin Type: Normal/Dry
Skin ConcernAs I’m growing older (yikes!), my major skin concerns really revolve around keeping my face looking vibrant and fresh.

Reccomended Products:

Hannah (@vivalahannah)
Skin Type: Normal
Skin Concern: I have pretty big pores on my nose and my skin has the tendency to be dry, not to mention a pimple or two come my time of the month!

Laura (@lalaurrrita)
Skin Type: Normal
Skin Concern: I’m prone to pigmentation, so I always make sure I wear sunscreen no matter what.

Lauren (@lfbar)
Skin Concern: Since I live in NYC, my biggest skincare concern is dry skin in the wintertime.

Recommended Products:

Jane (@janesaisquoi)
Skin Type: Combination
Skin Concern: My skin is super annoying! My biggest concern is that I still get acne in certain areas (did you know pimples have memory?) AND I have eczema on my chin.

Timmy (@timmyngo3)
Skin Type: Combo/Sensitive
Skin Concern: Slight rosacea.

Drew (@imdrewscott)
Skin Type: Combo/Oily
Skin Concern: I have a pretty normal skin type but in the winter my skin does tend to get dryer thus I gravitate towards moisturizer during these months.

Recommended Products:

Which of the #CINCteam’s skin types is most like yours? Let us know in the comments below and have a great weekend! PS: remember to follow the @cincteam Instagram account to see all our crazy adventures!

PPS: Take it easy on the comments, we’re being brave showing our bare faces in in the featured image!
