5 Trends in 1 Look

I know I’ve voiced my opinion on trends before, and I’m not usually one to adopt trends quickly, but I have to admit there’s a lot of good ones happening recently. This look can literally describe all the trends I’m into right now. From the 70’s vibes to the frayed denim, and even my new favorite hair style– there’s a trend for everyone!

1. Frayed Cropped Denim
This has been an obsession of mine for a while now and I hope it doesn’t go away anytime soon. It definitely has a throwback 70’s feel which is why I think I’m loving it so much. Although I like skinny jeans they’ve never been my favorite look, which is why I love how frayed denim can change things up. The ones I have on here are from MOTHER Denim which I’ve found to fit my body type the best. The greatest thing about frayed denim is that you can even DIY it yourself. (We’ll be posting a video about this soon!)

2. Stacked Low Heel
I like to call this ‘the mom heel’ because it’s super comfortable which allows me to be able to run around & chase Chloe while still looking polished and chic at the same time. I love that these Miu Miu flats are a throwback to the mod era while still being super modern. You might also remember me wearing the low white Proenza Schouler heels all throughout Paris fashion week. I’ll be linking more affordable versions down below!

3. High Collar Victorian Blouse
I’m so glad that the high collar neckline is back in style because I’ve always been a big fan. Whether you call it a trend or not, there’s nothing more elegant and sophisticated than a high collar. This one is from Anine Bing and I love everything from the color to the lace to the open back. If there’s such a thing as the perfect blouse, this is it!

4. Statement Earrings
Fashion is like a pendulum because it’s constantly going back and forth. That’s why I’ll never say I’m over something because you never know when it will come back! For the longest time, dainty jewelry was my thing but after doing that for a few years, I’m starting to love statement jewelry again, especially earrings! I think earrings are the most unexpected way to make a statement because girls usually gravitate towards necklaces and bracelets. I love pairing a good casual outfit with statement earrings like these from Elizabeth and James!

5. Oversized Suede Bag
Oversized bags are definitely making a comeback. It was all about the cute mini bags for a while but I think this season the  bags will be getting bigger. I love this pale blue Elizabeth and James bag. The suede and fringe detail adds to my love for the 70’s vibe. I’m excited that oversized bags are coming back because it’s totally impossible to fit a million things in a tiny bag. (Especially as a mom!)

I have to say this was one of my favorite outfits from last week, and if it’s not a sin … I think I would wear it again! I also added  few chic & budget friendly items in the widget below that I absolutely love! Happy Shopping!
