Because it’s officially the week of Coachella, I thought I’d make a guide for all of you that are traveling out to Palm Springs this weekend. Even if you aren’t attending the festival, these are a few of my favorite places that I’ve discovered in Palm Springs that you should visit at least once in your lifetime! So here are my 5 places to go in Palm Springs!
[parallax][/parallax]I first discovered Korakia two years ago when I was pregnant and decided to have a little staycation before I had Chloe. Although I would like to keep Korakia a hidden gem all to myself, it’s already been visited by probably every celebrity and blogger out there. You can do cute things like watch your favorite old films under the stars in their outdoor lounge, have a perfect and quaint breakfast outdoors or even go for night swim by the fire. It’s like your own corner of paradise! I always get a sense of the Mediterranean when I visit Korakia because of the architecture and beautiful details.
What’s a visit to somewhere new without a relaxing day at the spa? Everytime I travel, I’m always on the lookout for amazing spas. (Have you seen my favorites from Korea?) The Estrella Spa at the Avalon uses organic products, and they have a large variety of facials and massages so you can find the perfect treatment for you!
If you’re looking for a good hike in Palm Springs, look no further! The Indian Canyons is a gorgeous park with several hikes of varying difficulties. One of the biggest tips I can give, especially since it’s in the desert, is to go early! Catch the sunrise so you don’t have to hike in the heat of the day and you’ll still have the rest of the day to explore the area.
A girl’s gotta shop, right? There’s something to be said about vintage shopping and finding that one special piece that no one else has. They have clothing and accessories from designer labels like Louis Vuitton and Gucci plus a super cool atmosphere to boot. So the next time you’re in Palm Springs, definitely stop by this one of a kind vintage shop, you never know what you might discover!
A beautiful place that people often forget to visit is the botanical gardens. If you guys are looking for beautiful cacti landscapes and dessert flowers, be sure to pay this botanical garden a visit. There’s a small entrance fee but you won’t regret it. It’s super instagrammable and who doesn’t love some adorable succulents!
Although I won’t be in Palm Springs this weekend, I’m wishing you guys a fun and safe festival weekend!
