Paris fashion week is always bittersweet for me. I love to be back in my favorite city, but I always get so sad because I have yet to travel to Paris with Allen. I hope that one day I’ll be able to come to Paris (on a non-fashion week week) with him and have our little Parisian rendezvous in the city of love! As I’ve gotten older, my style has evolved from super girly and feminine to more streamlined and sleek, but when in Paris … you gotta throw on that a-line skirt and pink knit sweater right?

I wore this outfit to the Rochas F/W 2016 show. The bow on the pink sweater (similar here!) had me at hello and made this girly outfit even more feminine. I paired it with this voluminous a-line black leather skirt which has more shape and volume than the average a-line skirt. My whole outfit was fun, flirty, and feminine … just like the Rochas show! I absolutely loved how Rochas incorporated playful accessories and layers. From colored socks to bejeweled purses, it all made the ultra girly pieces more cool and unexpected. Next time you wear something ultra girly & pink, try juxtaposing it with a leather piece. Whether it be a skirt or pair of pants, it can give your look a little edge!
