I had the honor of attending the 2nd annual Diamond Ball hosted and founded by the one and only, Rihanna. Riri obviously slays the fashion scene so when I got the invite from my friends at FWRD, the pressure was on for what to wear. I was somewhat inspired by Rihanna’s sleek, sexy, sophisticated yet always playful style. My favorite part about this dress is the black mesh long sleeves. They were actually separate from the dress (so you have the option to wear them or not). On top of that, I love the dramatic and unexpected slit in the front. It’s a maxi but not! I’m so glad I ended up going with this dress, it felt like I was a secret agent on a top secret mission that night. I’ve also been eyeing these killer heels for so long. I finally invested in some statement black pumps. Ever since I first brought them home I’ve worn them at least 2-3 times a week. They look worn with a statement dress like this, but even better with something casual like jeans and a t-shirt.

Rihanna started the Clara Lionel Foundation back in 2012. The Clara Lionel Foundation is now on a mission to improve the quality of life for communities around the world. Named after her grandparents, Rihanna & the CLF aim to bring progress to the areas of health, education, arts and culture. Since the foundation’s inception, CLF has raised tens of millions of dollars. I love it when public figures do something positive with their influence, and I was such an incredible experience to be a part of that night.
