So the award for the most worn shirt of the month goes to this little pinstriped peplum shirt (as seen HERE , HERE, & HERE). You see…. i’m the type of girl that gets overtly excited about the things I buy, and tend to wear them over and over again (in a short period of time that is), until I get completely sick of them. I do this mainly with my shoes (as seen with these Valentino lace up sandals that i’ve worn almost everyday this past month), but this shirt was too good not to repeat itself over and over again. It brings me back to my childhood. Growing up my sister and I were polar opposites, and somehow we’ve managed to stay the same. Jane was the type of girl that saved every dime & penny. She was also the type to save all her favorite items until she felt like it was “time” to use or wear them. Whereas I was the type that would immediately spend my paycheck on the outfit that I’ve always wanted, or in this case wear my most valuable pieces immediately and repeatedly!

Anyways last time I dressed this flirty peplum top down with my boater hat and distressed denim shorts, but today I’m dressing it up with this preppy denim linen blazer for a work meeting.  A lot of times we categorize our closet into work, casual, and formal wear. However I believe that most pieces can be multifunctional. Sometimes you have to think outside of the box to restyle and rewear the same pieces you’ve had in your closet for months/years, but it’s a fun & challenging exercise to do. This week I encourage you guys to use your clothing pieces in various ways so that you can really make the most of your items.

P.S   Since there are SO many items on sale, and its a bit hard to navigate…here are some of the things that stood out to me from the Nordstrom Sale.

-These amazing Tory Burch espadrille sandal that I saw a few months ago

-The cutest & girliest envelope style cross body bag in a blush pink. Perfect for the spring.

– Cant believe that these Vince Camuto caged sandals are on sale now! Don’t you hate it  when that happens? Especially when you got them not too long ago! Anyways bad for me and good for you. Recently worn HERE & HERE , they literally match every outfit. Nude shoes is the name of the game!
