I walked a thousand miles that day. Just kidding .. I didn’t walk a thousand miles in these. But these shoes are surprisingly comfortable for having such a high heel. I think the wrap ties help keep them tight and walkable. And they’re extremely feminine and reminds me of ballerina shoes. I also love this shift dress. It’s so comfortable, and I love pairing it with a denim jacket. Tying it around my waist gives me an accentuated waistline but is also perfect for having a jacket handy now that the weather is getting cooler and the sun sets faster.
Have you guys heard of the shoe & bag theory? I’ve read about it once a long time ago, but ever since then I’m a believer. The shoe and bag theory goes that when you have amazing accessories it will immediately elevate your entire outfit. That’s why I love saving on my outfits and splurging on my shoes and bags…it can make all the difference. (See my post on the 5 essential bags you need in your closet and you’ll know what I mean.) What do you guys think? True story or an urban myth?

I absolutely agreee with you! A good bag or a pair of shoes can elevate any outfit, even the simplest one. And these are also the first things you look at (at least as for me). With that being said, I like to invest in a nice quality bag or a pair of shoes that will serve me a long time.

When I was much younger I hated handbags. I always carried a knapsack or no bag at all as it was just an unnecessary luggage and my hands would be left full. Till now, I still prefer huge bags which I carry into the office, drop and then carry when I’m on my way home. I love shoes though and I guess that has rubbed off on my love for bags, lol.
