I’ve been in love with knee-high boots since forever and I’m so glad that the weather is finally cool enough for me to wear them again. Although I own many pairs of black knee-length boots, these Stuart Weitzman Lowland boots are my first pair of flat knee-highs. As I talked about in this post HERE, I’m trying to minimize the amount of heels that I wear as of lately due to my pregnancy. I’m not going to lie, I’m more of a heels type of girl, but I’ve been on the hunt for amazing flats that are just as sexy as heels, as I’m sure I’ll be wearing less and less heels as I continue to (physically) grow.
As most of you know…I’m usually jumping on a plane at least once or twice a month to go back and forth from New York , but I’ve been grounded here in LA since I’m almost well into my third trimester (been trying to limit as much traveling as I can). But as the weather is slowly cooling down, I’ve had the sudden urge to be back in New York during this season. Fall in Central Park is one of my favorite things to experience, and also just so I could have an excuse to wear my boots down 5th Avenue. But I guess now that I’m LA bound for the next few months, I’m going to have to get my walking done in Downtown LA! Speaking of walking, since I can’t do any intensive exercises like I used to, I’ve really taken to walking as my main form of exercise so these flat boots are perfect for encouraging that! Around midday I start to get extremely tired, so I usually will take a walk around the block to get some air, or pick up coffee for the girls (since I recently gave up coffee). Have you guys started wearing your fall boots yet?
Also, watch Stuart Weitzman’s latest short film “Rock Roll Ride” (Julia Restoin Roitfield’s directorial debut!) down below featuring the Lowland boots I’m wearing, plus Poppy Delevingne and Dylan Penn.
