A Beautiful Mess
I’m inspired all the time by everything around me. From music on the radio or by people that I see around me, it all sparks ideas for me.
Something that has always been a fashion inspirations for me, are magazines. The beautiful editorials and pages filled with fashion are constant sources I gravitate towards to spark my creativity. Β So at the Chriselle Inc. office we decided to finally organize our beautiful mess of cut outs and pages from magazines .
We pulled a few pages and organized them in binders by season etc.
We also hung a few cork boards to pinΒ for our current projects and new ideas.
We are constantly looking for new way to store away new ideas! How do YOU guys store your inspirations?
xoxo

Hi Chriselle,
Just wanted to drop by and say how amazing you are. I met you briefly at the Blogger Bazaar (I was the costume designer you talked to) and it was just really nice seeing how you’re so down to earth. I love all your videos. Hope to meet you soon again!

I have become very addicted to Pinterest as of late. But while shopping in Target I found a great board to use for everyday visual board! So I will make it my project to actually hang it and put some great visuals on that board. It does work when you put your mind to it and you can actually see the inspiration everyday! Thanks for sharing!
So much nice clothes, so little money D:
That’s a great technique that helps to cut the clutter out! The first time I did it I felt really bad about cutting my pretty magazines, but you get used to it and see how it’s a lot more useful in the binder showing what you prefer π

I’ve always wanted to do an inspiration board but i’m just not ready to cut out all of my magazine.. =/ but maybe it’s time for me to do so as I have many magazine in my house.. but for now, my InStyle magazine are staying with me.. I usually love saving pictures in my laptop.. being from fashion blog, beautiful pictures I seen in someone’s tumblr and of course Pinterest.. but for now, I’m taking a break from Pinterest cuz i have over-pin in my Pinterest.. kinda get addicted to it.. =P
I love how you put all your magazine cutout in a binder file.. looks less messy and easy to flip through just like magazine! Thank you so much for this blog post! <3

I find it easier to store everything digitally, so I will scan pictures/or save what I find on the Internet to Evernote – I have ‘notebooks’ for fashion inspiration, and you can add your own notes/ideas so that everything is in one place, plus I can access from my phone as well. The only downside is that the thumbnails aren’t very big and sometimes don’t sync accurately, so when I don’t need as much information or just want to flip through images, I use Pinterest π

blessing of the Lord on this blog!
I like the idea of storing inspirational pictures, but I’m always too nervous to cut up my magazines. So, I like to save pictures that I am inspired by on my computer under the bookmarks setting, or save them into a picture folder titled “Inspiration” on my computer.
