What first struck me about the Bahamas is how green it all is. I love seeing our palm trees in LA but the leaves here are so lush and green, it really takes me out of my element. Surprisingly the Bahamas isn’t as hot as I had initially thought it would be. It’s incredibly humid though, so I’m thankful I packed my Three Floor dress! As you guys may have noticed, I’ve been kind of obsessed with dresses that has movement lately, and this pink pleated Three Floor dress has the perfect amount of color and twirl.
During every trip I take I make it a point to buy a piece of unique jewelry to mark every place I’ve been. It started when I went on my first trip with Allen, but now it’s become sort of a tradition. I found this piece at a little boutique and I instantly fell in love with how unique and simple it is. I love statement necklaces that pulls an outfit together to make it extra special. My tradition on every trip I go to I find small thumb size or up to palm size model of a turtle. Whether they’re made out of stone, rock, wood. As you probably already know, turtle represents longevity.

Ps.. I also wear different kinds perfume for every place/country I visit, so everytime I smell that perfume it will remind me of the memories I had in that place.

I love picking up new clothing when I travel, especially when it’s local and/or inspired by traditional clothing or accessories. Things like Indian tunics, Hungarian embroidery or even the different styles you can find in Japan have all made their way into my closet. I might not wear them as often as my other clothes, but it’s nice to take out every now and then for something different and for the memories.

I always try to find an astonishing view in every country I’m visiting. It’s something entirely different from taking a normal shot or looking upon some in the internet which is why I can fully enjoy such things. Just imagine being on the top of an mountain while embracing the sunset in the silence. No tourists around, just you in the nature. Adorable dress btw!
