If you know me by now, you know I can’t live without my oils and serums. From my skin to my hair, they’re an integral part of my beauty routine. A while ago, I did a post on my Monday through Friday oils I use religiously, but today I’m excited to share my updated favorite oils & serums! Each of these items have found their way into my routine and I don’t know what I’d do without them. So if you haven’t found a good serum or oil, consider this your guide! Be sure to read about some of my other tips & tricks for a bad skin day on Byrdie!
When people think oils, they usually think about face oils, right? But because I have such coarse hair, hair oil is now a total life saver. I know what you might be thinking, the last think you want is for your hair to be oily, right? But I promise- a little bit of oil can make your hair look shiny and strong. The best time to add some hair oil in is right after you shower into damp hair.
I can’t even tell you guys how many of these bottles I’ve already gone through since I’ve started using it. Just two drops of this overnight oil before bedtime totally regenerates your skin by morning. It leaves your skin feeling soft and reinvigorated.
Shop: Midnight Oil
Besides the bottle being gorgeous, this black rose face oil is truly amazing. I use it at night as a part of my routine, and before I put my makeup on in the morning. It moisturizes and smooths your skin instantly.
This RMS oil is designed to strengthen, brighten and smooth your skin. It’s great for every skin type and immediately absorbs into your skin without leaving an oily residue behind. It’s also a really great option for those of you looking for organic beauty products. This oil is the perfect combination of radiance and antioxidant protection for your skin.
Shop: Beauty Oil
This serum is amazing for all skin types, and packs a serious moisture punch. It reduces redness and hydrates your skin. When I use this serum, I use it all over my face and neck pre-moisturizer as part of my routine.
There you have it! These oils and serums have seriously improved my skin and hair for the better! Do you have any that you swear by? Let me know in the comments below and have a fantastic Tuesday!

Love that you included a hair oil here! As an herbalist, a treatment I recommend for clients is to massage a good amount of oil into scalp before washing hair – then wrap up and seat in the sun for 15-20 minutes (or near the fire/stove/another heat source in wintertime). The heat penetrates the oil deeper into the skin and provides more lasting moisturizing effects on the scalp/hair follicles. Also, no greasy hair to deal with if you treat with it before showering.

The midnight recovery oil is amazing! I’ve been using it with the Sunday Riley stuff during the day and my skin has completely changed! I don’t even wear foundation (unless going out). Thanks for the other introductions! x
