Happy day 5 of the 12 days of CHRISelle!
As you guys know, I LOVE reading, audiobooks, and podcasts. I love sharing what I’ve been reading and listening to with you all so I wanted to check in and let you know what’s actually worth the time right now (in my opinion). It dawned on me the other day that I haven’t written an updated post about what I’m into in a while, so I thought now would be the perfect opportunity to do so! With the holiday break coming up, now’s the time to get a checklist going of all the things you want to listen to and read.
Although it’s much harder for me to find quiet time to read a book, you can always one by my bedside! I love to read when I travel for work, but since I haven’t traveled in a while, audiobooks and podcasts make for a great alternative. And no matter how busy I am, something about holding a physical book inspires me so much. Here are my top must-read books at the moment:
Lean In: Women, Work, and the Will to Lead by Sheryl Sandberg
Postnatal Depletion Cure by Oscar Serrallach
Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens
I Am Malala by Malala Yousafzai
American Like Me by America Ferrera
And thanks to my hour-long commute to and from the office, next up, we have a long list of podcasts I’ve been obsessing over nonstop. Each podcast inspires me to become a better person for different reasons, to think outside the box, and also motivates me in both my personal and work life. My list below is a mix of self-help, interviews and biographies that all create deep thought and a great mental headspace for me.
I’m actually really excited about today’s giveaway because I want to share my love of reading with you all. I’m giving away some of my favorite books to two lucky readers! These are books that truly inspire me, and I know they’ll inspire you too!
📚 To enter to win: 📚

Why You Should Care About Clean Beauty
Biossance is one of my absolute favorite clean beauty brands, and this post is very special to me because it’s something that I’ve been thinking about even more so since Colette was born!
Oh my goodness! Amazing article dude! Thanks, However
I am having troubles with your RSS. I don’t understand the reason why I
cannot subscribe to it. Is there anyone else having identical RSS
problems? Anyone who knows the solution will you kindly respond?
Thanks!!
We are a bunch of volunteers and opening a brand
new scheme in our community. Your site provided us with valuable information to work on. You have performed a formidable process and our entire community can be grateful
to you.
I absolutely love your blog.. Very nice colors
& theme. Did you build this amazing site yourself? Please reply back
as I’m planning to create my own website and would love to learn where
you got this from or just what the theme is named.
Cheers!
Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this site. It’s simple,
yet effective. A lot of times it’s very hard to get that “perfect balance” between usability and visual
appearance. I must say you’ve done a superb job with this.
In addition, the blog loads very fast for me on Firefox.
Excellent Blog!
Greetings! Very useful advice within this post! It’s the little changes that produce the largest changes.
Thanks for sharing!
Great, thanks for sharing this blog article.Much thanks again.
I’m not sure exactly why but this site is loading extremely slow
for me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end?
I’ll check back later on and see if the problem still exists.

very compelled me to take a look at and do it!
Your writing style has been surprised me. Thank you, quite great post.
Appreciating the dedication you put into your site and in depth information you provide.
It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same unwanted rehashed
information. Great read! I’ve saved your site and
I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.
I savour, cause I discovered just what I used to be taking a look for.
You’ve ended my 4 day long hunt! God Bless you man. Have a nice day.
Bye
I do not know whether it’s just me or if perhaps
everybody else encountering issues with your site. It seems like some of the
text in your posts are running off the screen. Can somebody else please comment and let me know if this is happening to them as well?
This might be a issue with my web browser because I’ve had this
happen previously. Thanks
Highly descriptive blog, I enjoyed that a lot. Will there be
a part 2?
No matter if some one searches for his necessary thing,
therefore he/she needs to be available that in detail, thus that thing is maintained over here.

Hello, its pleasant piece of writing about media print,
we all understand media is a enormous source of facts.
Today, I went to the beachfront with my kids. I found
a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said “You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.” She
placed the shell to her ear and screamed. There was a hermit crab
inside and it pinched her ear. She never wants to
go back! LoL I know this is completely off topic but I had to tell someone!
Hi there would you mind letting me know which hosting company you’re using?
I’ve loaded your blog in 3 different browsers and I
must say this blog loads a lot faster then most. Can you recommend a good hosting provider at a fair price?
Kudos, I appreciate it!
certainly like your web site however you need to take a look at the
spelling on quite a few of your posts. A number of them
are rife with spelling issues and I find it very bothersome to inform the truth on the other hand I’ll definitely come again again.
These are really fantastic ideas in concerning blogging.
You have touched some good points here. Any way keep up wrinting.

We love opening up the bible and reading section by section that leads up to the birth of Jesus. My five year old loves to hear about the things that happen before his birth and right after his birth during the Christmas holidays. @mrsjlim
It’s not exactly a Xmas story but I used to read it every Xmas as a little girl the Little women! I loved that book and I hope the same for my daughter
I know it’s probably not a movie or book, but I love the story of the little boy drummer in the Christmas song. It, to me, is a story that recognizes and cherishes the value of a true gift, something that has so much meaning yet doesn’t cost a thing. My instagram handle is @sereta_renea_12 ! Thank you for writing such an awesome blog post for all us book lovers!💖

The Bible Christmas story is of course the all time best, but I always love to read the Nutcracker – the full, long, large pictures by maurice sendak, story every Christmas!! The writing is very classical, and the illustrations – I could pour over them for hours taking in all their immense detail!! @tasiafaren
Not a holiday but such a meaningful book – The Giving Tree. I can’t wait to read it to my future kiddos!
