As summer fast approaches, finding something to wear in the heat can get really difficult.

That’s where some killer accessories come in! If you’re wearing a basic t-shirt dress or even plain shorts and a t-shirt, it’s the little things that can totally transform your outfit. Keep scrolling to see my picks for summer accessories to take your outfit to the next level!

Neck Scarf

A silk neck scarf is one of the most versatile accessories ever. There are so many different ways to wear them! My girl Hannah tied this one in a super cute bow around her neck, but I’ve also seen her wear it as a headscarf. Another great way to style it is to wear it as a top, tie it on the handle of your bag, or even tie it around your hat!

Straw Bags

I’m a total self-proclaimed bag lady- I just can’t stop! Straw tote bags are the ultimate summer handbag. Take them on vacation, the beach or the pool! They carry a ton, look super chic, and at this point, are totally classic so will never go out of style.

Straw Hat

Nothing like a straw hat to put you in a tropical mindset. If you’re packing your hat in your suitcase, the best way to travel with one without squishing it is to put some socks or a bathing suit in the crown (or the part where you put your head) and pack around the hat. That way it will retain its shape! And if you aren’t jet-setting anywhere tropical this summer, at least you can wear a chic hat at the beach or pool!
