The sign of a really good trend is that it can easily morph into other looks and grow as time passes. Remember how much I wore this white blouse last year? The lace-up trend has totally stuck around since then- popping up in everything from sweaters (like this one) to dresses and even sweatpants like I wore in this post last week! I love how the ribbon laced up front added such a feminine detail in juxtaposition to the grommets. It reminds me of a corset!
I finished off this casual work look with some of my trusty black jeans, some black booties, and this super cute backpack (similar here)! I never really think of backpacks outside the realm of the Honest Backpack that I use as Chloe’s diaper bag, but when I saw this one I fell in love! It’s small, sleek, easy to wear and I love the zipper detail down the middle.
So do you guys have any laced up pieces? Be sure to shop my picks throughout the post and have a great Tuesday!
