I often get asked about how I describe my style, and my answer has always fluctuated. If there’s one common thread about my style transition, it would be to have a good bag!

I’m pretty sure my obsession with bags come from my mom. Ever since I was little, I would go into my mom’s closet and ‘borrow’ her purses. I still remember the day she passed down my first designer bag. It was a vintage Bali bag which had been passed down to her from my grandmother. And to this day, it’s one of my most prized possessions. There’s something I love about second-hand pieces. Knowing that there’s history in that piece makes it much more special.

I don’t know if it’s because there’s something about things that are hard to get that makes it so much more rewarding, but I definitely feel a rush when I score a hard to find purse.
