I can’t believe it’s already been two weeks since my birthday. I’ve never been one to celebrate my birthday and I didn’t even celebrate the big three-oh, because that’s when Chloe celebrated her 100 days. I was so busy planning her party that I didn’t have time to think about my own birthday celebration. This year I thought I would celebrate by going on a little trip to Tulum. But to my surprise, my team threw me a pre-Mexico birthday lunch complete with tacos and a serape!
I’m so thankful for my amazing team because without them I wouldn’t be able to push out consistent and beautiful content for you all. Running a blog and youtube channel really takes a village, despite how glamorous it all seems at times. I am so thankful for all the girls on my team for their dedication and hard work. Part of how I’m able to balance life as a mommy and working woman is because I have this amazing team supporting me.
If you watched my snapchat (@chrisellelim) that day, you might remember that I had no clue what they had in store for me. The girls made me wait outside the office while they finished prepping. They even blindfolded me! I absolutely love tacos and these tacos from Chichen Itza restaurant were absolutely amazing! I normally don’t gravitate toward color but this colorful red filled birthday surprise was absolutely perfect! Between celebrating my birthday in Tulum and having this pre-birthday surprise, I couldn’t have asked for a better way to turn a year older!
