Jimmy Choo x Baby2Baby

I was honored to have been able to attend a lunch at Saks 5th Avenue hosted by Jimmy Choo’s creative director, Sandra Choi. Jimmy Choo is a brand that I really love and it was made especially special because it was hosted in conjunction with one of my favorite causes, Baby2Baby. Baby2Baby is a charity that provides low-income housing families with all the baby necessities. Especially now that I have Chloe, it absolutely breaks my heart to think that there are babies in this world that don’t get all the necessities they need. I loved that Jimmy Choo partnered with Baby2Baby for this event because it shows the face of fashion at its best.

It was also Sandra’s 20th anniversary for designing her Momento collection, which was also on sale as part of a limited trunk edition. I mean, talk about shoe goals right? Sandra and I were seatmates during the lunch and it was so nice talking to someone who’s been in the industry and is killing it as a total #girlboss and also balancing it all out as a working mom. Sandra was also giving me so many amazing & valuable tips on how she balances out motherhood with her career. Although I love being a mom there are some days I question myself …“Am I doing a good job? Am I giving it my all? Could I be doing more?” And that’s why it’s so reassuring when I can connect women like Sandra, and we can share our experiences with one another. At the end of the day, that’s what life is all about right? Supporting, uplifting, and empowering one another.

I wore these strappy denim Jimmy Choo shoes and this gorgeous statement bag to the event. The bag has a knotted metal chain that gives this feminine bag a very unexpected edgy appeal. I must have worn this dress for what feels like all of Spring, but a little tip for you guys … when you have a killer bag and shoe combo, it almost doesn’t matter what you wear! I haven’t been wearing heels too much anymore especially since having Chloe, but these heels are super comfortable. I love the wrap detail and the thick sandy wooden heel, perfect for spring!

Thank you, Jimmy Choo and Baby2Baby for having me a part of this inspiring luncheon. It’s amazing to see one of my favorite fashion brands support and team up with a charity that is very close to my heart!
