Afternoon Tea at the Peninsula Hotel

Photography by Karen Rosalie

If you guys remember last week I posted on my snapchat and instagram about the surprise belated birthday get together I had with my team! It was an intimate gathering that was much needed.. With everything thats going on, we hardly get a chance to just hang out and enjoy each others company outside of work.

The relaxing afternoon was held at one of my favorite hotels in LA, the Peninsula in Beverly Hills. It has got to be one of my favorite hotels because they have these beautiful Rococo and Baroque elements that bring me back to my trip to Paris last year. If you guys remember me snapchatting that day, I had no expectation of what the day would hold.. but I was pleasantly surprised when I got up to the 5th floor. What was waiting for me was a much needed massage! With Chloe getting heavier and heavier, I constantly get shoulder pains and tight muscles so I was so excited to relieve some of the tension.

After our relaxing massages we went to downstairs to The Living Room, yes it is literally called the living room which is a fitting name since it feels so homey. Behind the salon was large window with a view of a lush garden. We had afternoon tea paired with decadent pastries and finger sandwiches. You all know my love affair for pastries, though I usually try to eat healthy through the course of the weekday, I decided to give myself a little treat. I will definitely be coming back to The Peninsula, it was truly like an afternoon getaway.  The staff was superb, the food was delicious and the space was immaculate.  Thank you again to The Peninsula for hosting this and I definitely suggest this place for a girls day if you are in the LA area!
