My Day With Valentino

One of my favorite parts of Fashion Week surprisingly isn’t the shows, it’s actually the preparation that goes into attending the shows. The idea of being able to go into a showroom and play dress up is almost like a fantasy. I always told myself that the day I get invited to a Valentino show will be the day that I can finally call it quits because I can die happy (obviously, I’m nowhere close to quitting) but it’s always nice to remember when my dreams started as I mention in this post here!

The Valentino showroom was so amazing and opulent that it’s the epitome of what I believe luxury to be. For my look to attend the Valentino FW ‘16 show, I decided to go with this gorgeous silk dress (similar here). I love the streamlined silhouette of this dress but what I really fell in love with was the Victorian inspired sleeves. There’s something so inspiring and elegant about this dress. Of course, because it was colder out, I paired it with this black coat that perfectly matched the floral details on the dress. I’m sure you guys have noticed I have a thing for white low-heeled pointy shoes (as seen here and here). These were probably the most comfortable shoes I wore during Paris fashion week. The leather was soft and I loved that they were a mixture of a ballet slipper with a bit of edge. I still think about these shoes every single day, and I’m dying to get my hands on them! But for now, I’ll link some of my favorite low pointy shoes down below!

It’s so great being back in LA because I get to check out of the fashion world for a bit and catch up with my family. But today is an exciting day! Follow along on snapchat as I head to Palm Springs with my team! Although I couldn’t be any happier to be back in sunny California, but I’m still dreaming about my day with Valentino!
