Getting My Priorities Straight

In the midst of the chaos that is New York Fashion Week, this year actually seemed to be a lot easier. As busy as I was, I found that this season was more organized because my team and I were a bit more selective when choosing what shows to attend. That allowed me more time to be creative and actually enjoy the city! And I feel like that’s definitely been the theme of this year. It’s funny how having a baby can put everything in perspective. Before Chloe, I used to get major FOMO (fear of missing out!) and I felt like I had to be at everything and everywhere at all times. But now, I’m more picky about what I give my attention to so that I am using my time wisely. I can’t tell you guys how much easier it makes my life a lot easier when I have my priorities straight!

Now I feel a lot better when I have time for myself, my family, and my team. Especially when I have time to do things that inspire me! This was one of those days when I had the chance to explore the city with my team, eat at a cute cafe, all while wearing this amazing Rebecca Minkoff outfit. I was supposed to wear this to the Rebecca Minkoff show but due to time I wasn’t able to change! Either way, I love how wearable it is even outside of the fashion week sphere. The black printed dress and the unique detail on the purse gave me boho vibes and reminded me of a laid-back California day!

Hope you all have an amazing Wednesday!
