So last week Aimee from Song Of Style and I decided to join the Marni x H&M pre-shopping event before the madness hit the stores to the public. Low & behold it was still a flustering MAD house of editors, bloggers, celebs, and stylists. Luckily I was following a few people in New York ( Nylon & Lucky Mag to be exact) who already experienced the madness on the east coast, and were tweeting that all the merchandise within the first 20 minutes were completely sold out at the pre-shopping event! Immediately I called up Aimee and told her that, so we went earlier than what we were planning to and scored some goodies! (Heres a pix of us shopping at the event) And we did a bit of damage but we left satisfied and went next door to get our grub on! (The damage that we did HERE)
One of my fave purchases has to be these silk shorts…so easy to wear and instantly gets you in vacation mode! Silk shorts tend to have that effect of either 1. wishing you were on a vacation or 2. wishing you were cozied up in bed!

Wow! At first, I was a bit skeptical that your outfit will look scubby, but I’m amazed how the blazer just redefines the whole outfit! I love the color scheme.
