Traipsing Up & Around
This weekend was spent traipsing up & around downtown, dinner reservations, & shopping extravaganzas. But most of all spending quality time with my ever so loving mommy and sis Eye It Try It.
With Summer coming to an end i’ve been spending most of my days in bright vibrant colors. Never thought of pairing this amazing Agave Purple stone bracelet Ive had sitting ever so quietly in the back of my jewelry closet with this pretty fuschia pink skirt.
…and its Monday! back to work and back to reality! It’s a jam packed week with endless meetings and a whole lot of shoots!

Trends I'm Loving Right Now
While I'm always hopping from trend to trend there are three in particular that has totally captured my heart (and closet) this season.

lol Yes, I knew Star Wars would be brought up at some point, especially coming from someone in my age range. Plain and simple: Star Wars is pretty good, but Im not nearly as infatuated with it as most and its just not something that would every even rank in my top 10 or even top 20 favorites. For me the trilogy is just good, not great. Iconic, indeed, just not my thing as much as others.

Although the Cubs are a very improved team, they have to overcome not only the St. Louis Cardinals in their own division, but some much better teams in the National League to even get into the playoffs. Their big question this year will be how their pitching staff will hold up. There is little doubt that they will score a lot of runs with Aramas Ramirez and the addition of Alfonso Soriano. Unless the Cubs make an in-season trade for an established starter, I honestly do not think their pitching will be enough to take them to the top of the division.
Surprisingly yes, There is a chance. They have a much better team this year. Also there is no great team in the National League. The Mets have very questionable pitching. The Cardinals were not very good(83 wins) and might have a worse pitching staff than last year. Houston will be weaker without Petitte and Clemens. The Dodgers are short on power. The Giants are old and thin. So the Cubs, if they can regroup and stay healthy, could win over 85 games and get into the playoffs.If they get in the playoffs they have as good a chance as anyone to win.
Glad to see another fan of Boondock Saints as well. Is it one of the best movies? Probably not. But its definitely one of my all-time favorites. I just love everything about that movie. I can watch it time and time and time again (and I have).
