My Louis Vuitton Cruise 2020 Experience

I had the most amazing 24 hour whirlwind trip with Louis Vuitton to NYC for their 2020 Cruise Collection!

It might have been one of the most exhilarating days I’ve had in a while! I always feel so blessed to be able to go on trips like this, and team Louis Vuitton did not disappoint! Noteworthy mention: Louis Vuitton kicked off the day by pampering their guests with a massage followed by a rooftop brunch. Guests stayed at the One Hotel in Brooklyn and my view of the NYC skyline was just breathtaking.

When it was time to head to the show, I couldn’t contain my excitement as I’ve been a huge fan of Nicolas Ghesquière’s work for Louis Vuitton and I knew the collection was going to be nothing short of incredible. Before I get into the full resort collection itself, I have to tell you about the venue.

The show was held at the Kennedy Airport in the T.W.A. Terminal (Trans World Airlines), which was built back in 1962 but hasn’t been open in years! It was designed by Finnish-American architect Eero Saarinen and symbolized the dream of being able to soar high into the sky.

The venue was the perfect location for their amazing cruise collection as it was a nod to the ’60s when aviation looks were glamourous. You could also feel the classic Pan Am nostalgia throughout the show.

The collection blew my expectations out of the water and was unlike anything I’d ever seen before. There was a healthy mix of opulence and glamour – all while feeling completely streamlined and structured. Which, in my opinion, are things that don’t usually don’t go hand in hand. Ghesquière’s collections seem to get better and better every season, but I have to say this was his best by far! I truly loved how he brought the magic of how he felt the first time he visited New York. The energy was undeniable.

Thank you again to my Louis Vuitton family for having me! I had the most incredible time!
