As you guys know, for the past couple of months my house has been under MAJOR renovation!
I still have yet to do a full reveal (check out the progress photos here) but I really wanted to highlight one very special room… baby Colette’s nursery! We partnered up with Serena & Lily to create this magical, whimsical and cozy room for her.
This was originally Chloe’s old room but don’t worry about Chloe. She definitely got an upgrade! I wanted to give Colette something really special, so we created this dreamy setup. To balance the dreaminess, we wanted to add some natural elements to the room as well, like the wood from the crib and the brassy pieces to glam it up, as well! An open and free-spirited room, just how I hope Colette will be.
I’ve always been way too scared to play around with wallpaper, but I’ve always loved the look of it. My interior designer Erick, convinced me that it wallpaper would be a good idea for the baby’s room to add some fun. We went with these fun gold polka dots that are subtle but still sweet.
This artwork, in particular, is a really special piece for me… I originally bought it for Chloe when I was putting together her nursery when I was in Paris! I found a street artist around the Sacré-Cœur Basilica in Montmartre but never got around to framing it because I just didn’t have the “right spot” yet. It sat in my storage for years so it means so much to me that I can put it to use in a very special place. They’re abstract watercolored ballerinas and they add the perfect finishing touch to Colette’s nursery.
I’ve always been a huge fan of Serena and Lily’s furniture so being able to team up with them for Colette’s nursery felt like the perfect fit! These pieces in particular work so well for the space and combine just the right amount of playfulness and classic touches that I wanted for Colette’s nursery. Beyond nursery furniture, they also have an enormous selection of furniture and art for any place in your home. It’s the perfect touch of California-chic everyone needs!
If you’re ready or in need of a room décor upgrade, you’re in luck! For all of you who live in the SoCal area, Serena & Lily just opened up a brand new store in the Palisades Village today so make sure to check it out!
I can’t believe I’m going through all of this again! Chloe is almost four years old already and I can’t believe how much of a nurturing and caring older sister she is now! I can’t wait to make so many new memories in this room with Chloe and Colette now.
Hope you enjoyed seeing the first look at the new nursery!

So pretty! Colette’s nursery is beyond perfect. What advice do you have when it comes to clothing storage/organization?
The result is so sweet and pretty. It’s a perfect room for a little girl.

Aw thank you so much love! xo
Everything looks really pretty and chic for the nursery but honestly, I’m not crazy about the wallpaper. If it was only one accent wall, it would’ve been ok but the entire room covered in dots will drive me insane.
I was afraid it would be too overwhelming at first, but once we had everything in it’s definitely more subtle! x
So beautiful! 🙂
