Here’s the deal.
While the holidays can be the best time of the year – the friends, family, traveling, the holiday parties… there’s also the sugar, carbs, alcohol, stress, the cold, the forgetting of drinking enough water… etc.
There’s nothing quite like waking up with a baby (or not-so-baby) hangover the morning after a holiday party where you double-fisted champagne and cookies, and now feel bloated and swollen.
So, if you find yourself a little hungover and your face is a bit more swollen than you would like – here’s what we recommend you do to depuff your face.
FIRST OF ALL, DRINK LOTS OF WATER AND HYDRATE.
SECOND, USE THESE GUYS TO HELP YOU DEPUFF!
JOANNA CZECH FACIAL MASSAGER
This facial massager is designed to help with lymphatic drainage (aka de-puffing) as well as enhance your skin’s circulation and elasticity! Roll over your favorite sheet-mask for a double duty self care. We especially love using this massager around our jawline.
NuFACE Trinity® Facial Toning Kit
Chriselle has talked about the NuFace toner a few times, and it really is the MVP. The device uses microcurrent therapy to contour and brighten your skin! (PS, if you’re unfamiliar with microcurrent therapy, check out this post here!)
STACKEDSKINCARE Ice Roller
This ice roller is heaven sent! It’s created with a gel and water core, so it gets cold fast and stays cold! Perfect for calming angry skin and de-puffing everything. It feels especially nice on the eyelids.
Joanna Vargas Bright Eye Hydrating Mask
A dead giveaway for a swollen face is puffy under eyes. Enter some under eye masks! These from Joanna Vargas are Hannah‘s favorites. They’re super hydrating and soothing- you won’t want to take them off!
Crystal Contour Gua Sha Beauty Tool
Gua Sha is something we swear by here at CINC! It’s the easiest way to promote blood circulation and natural drainage of the lymph nodes, release muscular tension and helps circulation and lift the skin. Great for de-puffing and an instant face lift!
If you don’t happen to have any of these items, using ice all over your face is a good way to use what you have in the house to depuff your skin.
Do you have any methods for depuffing? Any favorite depuffing face tools we should know about? We’d love to hear them! PS: since New Year’s Eve is right around the corner (crazy, we know!) be sure to get your hands on some depuffing tools ASAP!
Until next time,
