Happy last day of the 12 Days of Chriselle! Time sure does fly by when you’re having fun!
For our final day, we partnered up with Biossance! Biossance is one of my absolute favorite clean beauty brands, and this post is very special to me because it’s something that I’ve been thinking about even more so since Colette was born! Although I was very cautious about what skincare I was using during my pregnancy with her and Chloe, I’m even MORE aware of it now that she’s born and we’re a family of four.
I don’t know what it is, but it feels like with Colette, I’ve become even more obsessed with her with each day. Not that I’m favoring her, but it’s almost like I’m able to enjoy her more. I feel like I’m more present and less stressed out about having a newborn since this is my second time around and am 100% more confident with Colette. So, being able to be present and smother her with hugs and kisses is so much fun!
Since I’m always holding her and feeding her, I’m having extremely important skin-to-skin contact with Colette. I’ve become hyper-aware of the products I’m using since I know that whatever I put on my body will instantly transfer onto Colette’s skin. I’ve been using Biossance for a couple years now and was first introduced to them two years ago when I got hooked on their 100% Squalane Oil. Since then, they’ve expanded their line incredibly and I’ve been loving their Squalane + Probiotic Gel Moisturizer, too! They’re all plant-based and super moisturizing.
My skin has always been dry, so I’m always cautious about products making my skin feel too oily. If it’s too heavy, I’ll break out. If it’s not moisturizing enough, I’ll still feel dry but with Biossance’s squalane ingredient, this line is the perfect balance- hydrating enough but won’t break me out. Squalane is super hydrating and locks in moisture and doesn’t leave you feeling greasy.
This Squalane + Vitamin C Rose Oil is a must have for me, and you guys know I love my oils. I also like to mix it into my bb creams or foundations to give me that extra little glow throughout the day. A few drops can add so much radiance to your skin!
I’ve also been into their Squalane + Phyto-Retinol Serum and it’s actually retinol FREE which is great for breastfeeding mamas like myself! It’s plant-based and made with Bakuchiol, which is an extract from Babchi and is found to have retinol-like effects! It’s everything I love about reaping the benefits of retinol without the side effects. This stuff is PERFECT for all you pregnant and nursing mamas out there- or even if you happen to have super sensitive skin!
I love that I’m able to take care of my skin, give it the love and moisture it needs, while still being safe for the baby. Thanks to our partnership with Biossance, we were able to give a generous donation to Baby2Baby.
If you haven’t tried any Biossance’s products yet, I highly recommend you do! In fact, we’re giving away a full set to one lucky reader today!

I commented yesterday on IG, pero I don’t mind sharing again, hopefully by doing so it helps someone, My older brother and I were young we were close, & unfortunately during & after college we drifted drastically. It was 2 or 3 Christmas’ ago now, that when on his break, in visiting home, he saw how broken I have become, no longer the young happy tween I was. He came into my room, close the door, and we sat and talked, cried, and hugged for the first time in years. It’s what I needed & wanted for years, to be open with him again, & it just so happened I got it during the holidays. Gave me the faith that carries me even till now, that however small a miracle, it can come true.
My favorite holiday memories are of when my dad was alive and the entire family was together opening presents.
@claire_frimming
@rachal_pinkprincess /
fav christmas memory was when my cousins came over from georgia and they were leaving christmas day. but we dont get to see them often since they live far away, so after we opened presents and everything, we all went upstairs and made picket signs out of popsicle sticks and stickers (bc we didnt have tape) and we protested for them to stay. we even came up with a chant: “no parks, no peace” (because their last name is park) we marched around in the living room for forever it seemed like just chanting this 🤣🤣
@jennaayjew
My favorite holiday memory is the past 3 years…
When we celebrate Christmas as a family of three it reminds me how life’s passion, drive, and thankfulness comes from seeing my family happy, healthy, and safe. Now anticipating on welcoming in March 2019 our new addition to celebrate as a family of four next year.
Mine is setting up the Christmas tree with my family now this year my little one is going to help us

I love spending time with family and all of the thoughtful gifts. It’s always so nice to see the way everyone is able to think of gifts that truly mean something and shows how much people care for each other.

My favorite holiday memory is about making of a traditional sweet dish called ‘Gujiya’ in India which is prepared around the festival of colors called Holi.The way the entire family use to get joyously involved in each step of its making was amazing snd so full of good times. As a kid it was such a fun to hop from one stage to another enjoying the whole process plus the wait of eating something delicious:) Thank you for asking and giving me a chance of reliving those good times all over again. Love to Collette xoxo Tara

I love any good tradition. There aren’t many in my family but every year we go visit my grandparents in Montreal (I’m from Toronto). It’s getting harder as I’m getting older and my lifestyle is changing but I look forward to the memories and traditions I’ll create once I have a family of my own!

My most favorite holiday memory was the first year I came in The U.S. that’s when I knew how a true Christmas should be. I remembered my aunt took me to the mall for Xmas shopping for the first time ever and everything was decorated very beautifully. In the eye of a twelve year old girl, since then Christmas holiday has a very special meaning for me.

Family celebrated Christmas growing up, presents would always be opened morning of under the tree and Christmas lights always kept on our house until May LOL. My family is Chinese and there’s always been a fusion of Chinese and American dishes passed around for holiday dinner parties: why have ham when you can have Beijing duck. 😛

When I was younger and I was going to music school, I learned how to play the flute. Then every Christmas I was playing carols and my whole family was singing together. It was really magical moment❤️

My favorite Christmas memory: when I was a kid my family and I am moved to the states. we didn’t speak any English and we didn’t know what Christmas tradition was so we were going to skip the Christmas celebration. But our sweet sweet neighbor knocked on our door and invited us to their Christmas party. That was my first and my favorite Christmas memory.
@arianamungaray
My favorite Christmas holiday was when my grandmother first taught me to make tamales and just being able to spend time with family.

My best memories are with my family back home in NC. We would all pile up in the family van and drive down to McAdenville… Also known as Christmas Town USA. Seeing a small town with each house decked out with lights/decorations was magical for me. We would walk around the town with hot chocolate in hand listening to Christmas music and just being a family together.
@kaylaadee
My favorite holiday memory was about 4 years ago when the entire family was all together for Christmas, back when my grandpa was still with us. The whole family was all together having a great time, laughing, opening gifts while sharing stories. I wish I could relive that day again.
My favorite holiday memory was going to my great grandmother’s house for Christmas Eve dinner, with about 40 members of our family! @apmccolgan
Having my parents home (they owned a restaurant so they were working most of my younger years)! My mom and dad would cook all day for our dinner and us kids would help with small things like chopping and cleaning. Then we would all enjoy dinner with my grandparents and go to the movies!

One of my favorite holiday memories
was actually last year. It was the very first Christmas my family and I spent at our new house with my mom’s fiance! The vibe was so warm and filled with love, and it was the most comfortable and healthy environment I’ve been in a long time. He’s the most wonderful man, and he truly made my Christmas morning one of the best yet! I can’t wait for this year! ❤️

When we were little, my sister and I would stay up as late as we could in excitement. Now I love reliving the anticipation of Christmas with my 3 year old daughter. Happy holidays Chen-Lim family!
@chibi_drea
I am half Swedish and Half Nicaraguan so one of my favorite holiday memories was when we celebrated Christmas on Christmas Eve. We would eat Swedish meatballs, open presents, eat Swedish treats, and dance around the Christmas tree. Also, at around that time, celebrating Lucia is huge in my culture so seeing a woman wear a white dress with a crown made from candles and leaves was purely magical. I love my Swedish Christmas traditions!
@julessmichelle
I’ve always loved watching my family dance in my living room for holiday parties. From my abuelos to my parents it’s always so fun and heartwarming to watch. Always makes me feel more connected to them. Knowing how to dance bachata and merengue is a must in our family so don’t get caught being the gringo who can’t dance.
Happy holidays everyone!
@amy_thomas
Favorite memories is writing letters to Santa and Rudolph in Christmas Eve.
@karensyfu
From as early as I can remember, I believed in Santa Claus! Every Christmas Eve, I would make sure I prepared cookies and milk for Santa and I left him a card/letter addressed to him on the tree!
When Christmas morning comes around, I am always the first in the family awake at 6am eagerly seeing what Santa has left under the tree! One particular christmas, I see Santa has left a note for me and it said “Marry Christmas Karen”. Being slightly older (aged 7/8 I think!),I realised that it was my mother who has been leaving all the notes over the years. I recognised her handwriting because Santa couldn’t have made the typo! My Chinese parents left their home country for a better life for my brother and me in Australia and I appreciated her embrace of Christmas. I ignored the hilarious spelling mistake and continued to believe Santa was real (I still do) but I will never forget this Christmas memory because it always brings a smile to my face! Living in Australia, the smell and taste of summer mangoes, eating cherries and fresh prawns and sharing the food and festivity with family and families has and will continue to be the best holiday memory.
@theisabellafairy
My favorite holiday memory was a thanksgiving in the early 2000’s. I was really young and my memory of it is almost dream-like, fragmented & maybe to good to be true kinda thing. Anyways i loved it so much because extended family came together on my mom and dad’s side, friends came and there would have been at least 30 ppl. And my great-uncle was there, he’s a photographer. And I remember him trying to get me and all the other kids to smile for our portraits, making goofy faces and telling jokes. It was such a happy time. And the best part is I have all the portraits (close up portraits were REALLY his thing) in a photo album that I love to look through. Many people of the older generation have died in my family and I am really greatful to have all of the beautiful portraits of them.
My fav memory are the holy nights at my grandparents house. We always have a big family dinner with homemade food and games. After that Santa Claus comes and every child has to do something to get the present (sing, poems or playing on an instrument). I remember how nervous but excited I was everytime. Since I can remember, I planned my outfit weeks before and loved curling my hair. Christmas is my fav memory ❤ lots of love xx IG CarmenCherie93

my fave holdiay memory is waking up early on Christmas morning to open the presents with my family! @unicorn.princess09
@picsolate // family meals with my cousins are my yearly favorite holiday memory
@samrealica
My favorite christmas memory is actually a christmas day tradition in my family. We’d all gather around and open all our gifts at the same time but then my favorite part happens right after. The moment everyone’s finished opening and putting aside their presents we all immediately scramble to gather leftover wrapper and each take cover because before you know it, it’s a wrapper throwing war. Haha imagine a snowball fight except it’s all bunched up wrapping paper. My grandparents would pelt even the kids haha there’s no mercy in this war. Everyones always laughing and having fun and that’s why that’s my favorite christmas memory.
Jayne_partyof5 – I love memories of decorating the tree.
@gabegagnon
My favorite Holiday memory would be the time spent in the house of my grand parents where my (very) large family would gather and spend a couple days. Long walks in the snow with my sisters and hot cacao by the fire place☕️🎄

Enjoying my hot mint chocolate while watching christmas movies on the sofa in my pjs and cozy throws ☺️
Hi chriselle! My IG handle is @tchooks!
My fave holiday memory is when our entire family + extended family gets together at my mom’s house every Xmas. This is a fairly new tradition that we have adopted since immigrating to toronto from India. I am Tibetan but born and raised in India and we never celebrated Xmas back home. I’ve been living here for 13 years but we just recently started this new tradition incorporating a little bit of the Canadian culture into our Tibetan heritage about 4 years ago. I love when the holidays come around bc I know everyone will get together since our lives are so so busy here in the western world! Also I hope I’m a candidate for this giveaway bc I am 23 years old who just started her career as a registered nurse and I am just starting to really get into skincare and the whole 7-10 steps thing! I think this will give me a great boost with my new found love for skincare. Ps. I’ve been watching you for years ever since you started off and love your quiet poised nature bc that’s how I am too and I can relate and look up to you for inspiration. Thanks chriselle! Lots of love, Tenzin!

My fav holiday memory was when I was kid and all my cousins would come over spend the night for like 3 days straight while we played with the tons of new toys we all received!
As living for years in abroad in different countries, the best memory that i could make to my family and friends was to suprise them for that time of the year without telling anyone beforehand that I’m coming home.. all the tears and happy faces were worth doing that! Only once in yourlife time you can do that!

My favourite Holiday memory is every year watching Home Alone 1 or 2 with my family on Christmas Eve but never remembering which one we watched the previous year, so always ending up watching the same one year to year! Now that all the kids have grown up and none of us have Home Alone on Netflix or DVD, we haven’t watched it in years. But it’s still my favourite Christmas tradition. <3
I live away from my family. During the holidays, all of my family in Peru gets together and I get to FaceTime EVERYONE at once. It makes it feel more homey and special
My favourite holiday memory is watching any movie showing in cinema with my brother on Christmas Day. After which we would head home and try to cook some Christmas Dinner for our family. We try to up our game every year.. Usually ends up with roasted chicken with stuffings, a type of spaghetti, mashed potatoes, mushroom soup and a salad

@jadayahs When my parents surprised me with Nintendo DS during Did (the end of Ramadan). They didn’t have to get me a gift, I didn’t expect one, but they got me one anyway. my favorite holiday memory are the many christmas gatherings my family and cousins get together in vancouver. since we all live in different cities (me in hk) Vancouver has now become a *hub* for us to meet up!

Hmm.. there are so many beautiful holiday memories made each year but my favorite would have to be anticipated for this year, Christmas of 2018. Yes, it has not yet to come but this year will be very special for I will plan a surprise birthday on Christmas eve for my dad and his twin brother. They are both born on the year of the dragon 🐉 and will be turning 55! This will be a very special moment because it is the very first year they get a conjoin celebration together as a family under one cozy roof.
My favorite memory would be a childhood memory on Christmas Eve. I remembered how excited my siblings and i would get before opening up our presents . My parents struggled and my father worked late nights at the restaurant as a chef. Hardly got the chance to see him much until the holidays. They honestly tried their best to give us everything we wanted. I am very thankful and blessed to have them . That’s one precious memory i will forever treasure .
IG @Hairbyannachung
My favorite holiday memory is when I was young, we’d spend New Year’s Eve at my aunt’s house in the mountains and we’d go sliding all the way down the mountain and go back up. We’d literally be doing that all day even in the dark and when the diner was ready, we’d eat a whole turkey with my whole family and eat dessert around the fireplace and play board games! At the end all the kids would be sleeping in sleeping bags all together.

My favorite holiday memory is from my childhood. Our parents surprised me and my sisters with a record player! We played my Mom’s huge collection of oldies (45s!!! If you know what those are! I’m giving away my age here perhaps! Lol!)
My favorite holiday memory is definitely going on a tour to San Francisco with 15 cousins 🤪💗😂 It was so funnn… the weather was super cold, rained, and snow at Yosemite. It was such a great memory, and it is something that is hard for us to do right now since our adult schedules hectic 😟. It reminds me to enjoy every moment of life because we won’t know what is going to happen next.

Watching fireworks at midnight right after the new year has entered with my family. We used to do that when I was a kid. Even though the snow was up to our elbows, we would put on our coats and go to our yard to watch the fireworks. The whole neighbourhood used to do it and since it was a family neighbourhood we ended up in someone’s backyard with blankets watching the night sky! Missed that a little more than I thought! @elektra_ni ❤⛄🎄🎁❤🎀🎁🎄⛄

My favourite holiday memory was definitely when I got to go to Australia with my family. We went to visit a bunch of relatives there, and we even went on a farm stay in a town near Melbourne. It was possibly the most fun I’ve ever had, and getting to spend time with these relatives I hardly ever see was super refreshing.

My favourite holiday memory is from this December! My family doesn’t celebrate Christmas so this is the first year I get to celebrate it with my boyfriend. Everything we’ve done so far for Christmas like buying a tree, decorating, buying presents etc has been the best memory ever. I feel like a 8 year old child getting so pumped for Christmas 😀
Just love the whole Christmas spirit where everything is decorated and pretty. @mashimaro810

I posted one for your IG but I’ll share another for blog.
My favorite memory was when I was super small I have 6 older sisters but we grew up with very little money so buying extravagant gifts wasn’t really apart of my family but more meaningful/ functional gifts were. I was so excited to open my stockings because we had 7 stockings lined up on the wall and everyday it would get fuller and fuller, I was so small I thought that it was MAGIC!!!! Turns out that my sisters stuffed all our stockings and by midnight we opened our stockings and had such fun things! Candy, hairbrush, scrunchies, cool pens, highlighters, and so many goodies. That was my favorite part when my family all lived under one roof and opened stockings + lots of joy & laughter.
My favorite holiday memory was when we used to go back to Mexico to visit family for the holidays and we would celebrate the 12 nights before Christmas with our extended family, friends, and neighbors. I miss it so much!

Spending time with friends and fam! @cancan22

Def the Christmas back in ’98- my parents worked every Christmas, but they decided to leave work a little early that year. The whole family got together and we drove out to Santa Monica to enjoy the festive lights. That was almost 20 years ago, but I can still hear my parents belting out Christmas carols in the car and the stuffing our faces with churros & hot chocolate!

my favourite holiday memory is spending last years Christmas Eve with my daughter. Driving around looking at houses decorated for Christmas. Coming home to hot chocolate and watching Home Alone cuddled up on the couch with my siblings and parents. At our extended family’s Christmas party we would play an epic game of bingo with prizes ranging from notebooks and toothbrushes to iPods and mini laptops.

My fav holiday memory is driving 13 hours down to central California with my whole family every Christmas to celebrate with my grandparents. We always had to squeeze into the back of my dad’s truck, but it was always the trip that my siblings and I looked forward to the most! The ride was long but seeing family was the best feeling!
@instalyokia our family tradition of Chinese food and a movie on Christmas 🙂 we’ve been doing it for more than 20 yrs now, starting when I was a kid and my parents can’t believe how packed theaters are nowadays.
My favorite holiday memory is see all the family members gathering around. See how they excited to talk about all the good and bad memories they have during a whole year.

My favorite holiday memory were the simple days when my family just spent the day indoors. We cooked yummy meals, ate and laughed together, went into food comas and napped, and began the eating process again! There’s nothing more heartwarming than being with my loved ones, and I am so grateful for days like those.
@miriamfalves
My favorites memories were the ones just spent with my family ,which were just my dad and mom .My dad would always ask us what did we liked the most and liked the least during the year. Afterwards we would go to the roster mass (I’m not sure if you call it like this in English ,but it’s just the mass at midnight of the 24th. And of course ,all the gifts on the next day 😋
I love how every yeary family goes to Christmas mass. Such a great way to celebrate! IG Name: daniellepelton
In my country, we get our presents on Christmas Eve. My favorite holiday memory is coming back from a winter walk in the snow with my parents and the presents would have magically appeared under the tree! It really kept my belief in the Christmas magic alive for a long time, which I’m thankful for 🙂 IG: hannah_img

My most favorite memory about holiday is when I moved to the U.S. and celebrated Christmas (finally bought and decorated the Christmas tree for first time) with every member in the family, especially my Mom. My Mom’s been living away from me for years now so I only get to see her once a year during Christmas time. So any holiday I spend with her will be my favorite one.
@esthergcho
My parents worked almost every Christmas holidays, and usually grueling hours. But they always made it a point for us to open presents together no matter what. As much as I hated waiting till they got off sometimes late at night, we enjoyed seeing each other’s face when opening presents. I didn’t understand then but now I know my parents were trying to teach us the value of togetherness.
@c_chuu
My favourite holiday memories surround planning and giving meaningful gifts to friends and family, and spending time with them ❤️
My favorite holiday memory was getting to spend it with my family, my mom, dad, sister, also my grandparents, all my aunts and uncles and cousins. Christmas wasn’t about the gifts or how much money you spent but it was about love, family and the joy of giving to those who are mostly in need. Going to Christmas eve mass and dinner with the whole family was the highlight of my holiday. Those were the memories I will cherish forever. 🤗

Woke up as a kid to no presents under the tree at home. I lived with my dad. I was soooo sad and cried and was inconsolable. My dad called my mom and told her what happened and she brought over half of the presents from her house and said that Santa got confused and left all my gifts there!
My favorite holiday memory is my first Christmas with my only daughter! Nothing beats spending time with one of the BEST gifts ever!!! @yanisceferrer
My favorite memory is introducing extreme ginger bread house making with my younger cousins. Seeing their faces light up at the sight of candy and laughing at me who would smear frosting on their faces. Nothing is more joyful that seeing the pure joy of the younger kids. @watupmon

We live in a distance relationship with my boyfriend. Last year his flight was deleted due to bad weather so we were prepared to spend the holidays apart, but he finally could find a flight and made it to home for Christmas, so we spent the holidays together. It’s a great value to be with your lived ones, every moment has it’s own magic, that never comes back to you

My favorite holiday memory was actually our family road trip to Lake Tahoe!! It literally took us about 8 hours from LA?? Maybe it was 10 hours, I don’t even know but it was a looooooooong ride. We he had a little tire accident along the way, but it was fun and adventurous. When we got to our Airbnb, we played card games, watched movies, and made amazing kbbq! The whole entire trip was so wholesome and I really can’t wait for another trip like that!!

One of my favorite holiday memories is when I received a pink Barbie scooter on Christmas morning when I was around Chloe’s age. I remember thinking how magical it was knowing Santa came into my room to leave a gift. The cookies and milk I left out in the livingroom were gone too. I love everything my parents did for me on Christmas during my childhood :).
Spending time with my loved ones ❤️
@anmyn
When I was younger, we would wait midnight for santa claus to come by and I would sneak out of my bed to see if santa ate de cookies and milk. we would only see « Santa » leaving the house by the window waving goodbye so we couldn’t see him close up since it was my dad. Opening the gift one by one and the smiles on everyones face was the best memories and still is to this day.
Driving around our neighborhood looking at the different houses with christmas decorations! So much fun and I’m doing the same with my kids as well! 🎄❤️ Ig: kassiesalfujita
Mine was probably coming back from South Korea, i had a layover in Qatar in which i missed my 3am flight(dropped my passport while running to my gate and only found it like 30min after the gate closed when the airport personal went all looking for it. I was 18 then and crying my eyes out, the day i was supposed to arrive home was my best friend’s birthday and it was the first time in years we could actually celebrate it together) Flights from Qatar to Morocco were only 1 every 2days so i had to stay 2 nights and 3days inside the Airport. I ended up getting to know the whole personal and shop sellers, information desk people basically everyone knew me as the crying little girl then😂 staring the 2nd day i was already acquainted with them and in my morning stroll around the airport would say hi to all the personal😂 Now i can definitely tell you i could go around that airport with my eyes closed. It literally felt like the Terminal Movie with Tom Hanks😂
There was this one house inmy neighborhood that had THE best Christmas decorations and I would always beg my dad to take the long way home to drive past that house just to see all the pretty lights and decorations! 🙂

My parents house has a fireplace so my sisters and I would trek out in the backyard for firewood. We’d make hot chocolate and sit near the fire, getting quite the kick out of watching my parents watch k-dramas dubbed in Vietnamese. It’s the few times a year all of us are together and *not* bickering.

My favorite holiday memory was when I was a kid and my dad would dress up and pretend to be Santa every Christmas. One Christmas, he sneaked down the stairs to leave our gifts under the Christmas tree before we all wake up and as he stood up from placing the gifts under the tree which then was under the stairwell, he hit his head and it left a bump until the next morning. We were all wonderjng as to where he got the bump until years later, my mom told us the story as to how he got that huge bump on a Christmas day. #12DaysGiveaway
@kristinemaermaid
My favorite holiday memory is my first New Year in New York city. It was my first new year away from home, nostalgic as it can get. I was pretty excited to see the ball drop. All in all I can remember is the crowd, the huge line for Starbucks, since it was freezing in New Year’s eve in NYC.

My favorite holiday memory was when my family and I went to NYC to my aunt’s apartment. It wasn’t huge but with tons of my family members went to gather together there one year. The food, the love, the laughs, it was all so beautiful! That one year my family ever got together like that I will never forget. I hope one day in my future family I can bring my new family that amazing feeling too. @carolynesteban
A favorite memory of mine was seeing these two huge gifts under the tree when I was a kid. We didn’t really do presents really so seeing them really made my small eyes drop to the floor. On Christmas I excitedly opened them to find two hello kitty pillows. I was honestly not that excited but what got me deep in the feels was knowing that my mom had gone to one of my favorite stores in the mall and got these for me. I’m in grad school now and the pillows are still at my bed at home!

We light up our homes with candles and my favourite memory is that of lighting up the candles with my cousins and sitting for the prayers with the ENTIRE family while we cousins used control our laughter! My favorite holiday memory is the first Christmas my friend turned boyfriend spent together. We went to see some Christmas lights, and in his car in the backseat he had a large bear! And I said, “Is that my Christmas present?” And he said, “No, it’s my Uber passenger.” I giggled, he put a lot of thought into my gift, and made sure the bear was squeeze worthy!

My favourite holiday memory was sitting in the car watching this house’s christmas lights synced up to a radio station. It was truly magical as a child. The lights changed to the beat of the music. My family and I just stayed inside 9ur warm car, listening to the radio, watching the lights, and drink hot cocoa that we brought in a Thermos. Unfortunately the family that loved in that house that gave me such a magical Christmas memory moved away years ago, and I have not been able to find another house that does this close by. But it’s a memory that will live forever in my memory! IG: @raychelng
My favorite memory is the one of the few years my mom managed to stay home with us instead of picking up the shifts people didn’t want in order to make ends meet.

My favourite childhood memory was when I was about 7 years old. My cousin used to live with me and my parents because his parents sent him to Belgium for a brighter future. My parents told us to go sleep in the living room while they were ‘house cleaning’ late at night. We were confused to why we should sleep in the living room and why they are cleaning. I woke up a few hours later in the car on our way to Disneyland Paris. it was amazing. By the way they had to wake up my cousin because he was older so a little bit heavier to carry from the couch to the car ahahaha.
I read your post and you mentioned that thicker creams makes your break out. I think that I might have the same problem. I never thought about that. I have very dry skin and only oily on my forehead. The moisturiser that I have to use for my dry areas makes me break out when I use it on my forehead so I have to avoid it. I hope to find some new products/ moisturiser to help out my entire face.

My favorite holiday memory is helping my mom decorate the outside of the house. It’s a super long process, usually the weekend after Thanksgiving. My first year away from home for college, I wasn’t able to visit my family very often due to the distance and my younger siblings were pretty bummed. I finally came home for Christmas/my birthday, and my family (who normally never “celebrated” Christmas) had put up and decorated our first ever Christmas tree in order to surprise me! Since then, we always put up the Christmas tree together right after Thanksgiving while drinking hot cocoa, eating brownies, and listening to Christmas music <3

As a Korean-American kid growing up in the American school system, I remember dreading the holidays because kids would ask me what I was eating for Thanksgiving/Christmas and i would dread having to explain all these Korean dishes to them only to realize that they’ve lost interest and stopped listening. As an adult in my 30s now, I look back on those days and think, “man, if only life was as easy now as describing Korean dishes to someone.” Those memories always bring back a smile to my face. 🙂

My favorite holiday memory comes from like 16 years ago. Me and my sister (4 years younger than me) got small pox at the same time on Christmas. My mum used to put some cream on us to heal them. But being so young (i was 6 years old) it was rather exciting than terrifying. We were like ladybirds. 🐞

These days no one talks face to face. So it’s nice when we all gather around and talk. I love it!

My trip to kanyakumari south asia in india. The year the gigantic tsunami took place. The trip was a fun trip with my entire family and we had so much fun from visiting water parks with my sister to my sister getting almost lost n found again. I have such great memories when i skipped my school sports event and went to this trip with my family. This place is the exact tip of india. We left the place 2 hours before the tsunami took place. I remember all our relatives calling to make sure we were okay. I was in grade 6. Then years later we visited andamans and nicobar island and we saw still some places emerged under water and villages where there is no more livelihood expect the growth of nature and birds. The trip was a very prominent memory.

My favorite holiday childhood memory. Big family gatherings and opening presents!
Best holiday memory threw me at first since I thought, ‘wait does she mean summer holiday or holiday as in Christmas’ now that I’m past the interpretation confusion 😂 my favourite memory will always be spending time with the family and getting excited with my mum about cooking and wearing santa hats while we cook. Best part is my family isn’t even Christian they came to London in the 70’s from Turkey and Cyprus so celebrating Christmas is something my mum go into once she was living in London and much more so once she had me and my brother, she always went above and beyond for events like Birthdays and Christmas (even mini milestones) the holidays definitely have changed over the 30 years Iv been growing up, people have gone and come, but one thing that hasn’t is the bond between me and my mum and all the excitement I can bring out in her now that I’m older and she’s a little more tired. So I guess I don’t have one memory it’s more what the holidays make me feel overall. 💕
My favorite holiday memory is probably walking the streets of Paris for the first time, seeing all the Christmas decorations and even light snow! Romantic and magical.
@an_na.ru
We never did the whole santa thing when I was growing up. We didn’t have a tree or fireplace but one year “Santa” left a present for me outside on our porch. Even though by then I knew Santa wasn’t real, it was really heart warming to have an experience like that growing up in an asian household. IG: @florencezhang

It may sound a bit sad but very memorable. 3 Christmas ago, I had to book a last minute flight to Australia as my grandpa was in critical condition and the the last thing he wanted was to see his granddaughters here in a Canada.
Granted I haven’t seen him for years and only get to see him once every 3-5 years. My sister and I was not sure if we could make it in time as it was a 20+ flight. But we were so fortunate to have been able to see him, hold his hands, and see that he wasn’t suffering. Days after seeing him, he passed. It is memorable since I now have no regrets and was able to fulfill his last wish. I truly believe he knew we were coming and held on until then. @trinh.ology

Favorite holiday memory has to be the trip to Europe with my family. So many things went wrong, like our bus getting stuck in the mud in Paris and later breaking down on the highway in Luxembourg, getting stranded on a river cruise in Germany because the tides changed, getting stranded on the highway because no one in Europe works on holidays including emergency vehicles, etc… and yet we were able to maintain a positive attitude about it all. My favorite holiday memory every single year has to be when my family and I would wear matching pjs. I started this little tradition about three years ago where for our family picture I would get matching pjs for my parents, brother, our dog, and myself! The first year I started this it was striped shirts, second year was flannel pj pants, and this year it’s all about Christmas penguin prints (fleece pj pants for my brother and dad, pj set for my mom and I, and a Penguin bandana for our dog).

Hi, this is Bisma. I loved finding out about new skincare products and I have a question about the retinol free serum so, since you can’t use retinol during the day time because it can do a reverse effect with the sun. Can you use this during the day?

My favorite holiday memory was when we were opening our secret santa gifts during Christmas. I accidentally opened someone else’s gift and it was filled with sex toys!! @peachy_pancakes
My favorite holiday memory is when my husband suprised me when we were dating with a fully decorated tree and 26 gifts under the tree. I had just come back from India after a tiring trip and he had everything decorated. We we’re engaged in 11 days and married in 8 months. Best memory ever. @smriti161
My favorite holiday memory is from when my twin sister and I were small and our parents were still together. We went to our granddad’s for Christmas Eve and our mom’s whole family would be there. My sister and I were still very small, almost still babies and my mom has a lot of siblings, who loved giving the lil babies all the attention. we were so loved by all of them and we love them all as well. and we still do. It was just so special and everyone was so happy and it was purely good times. Even though we are no longer in contact with that side of the family it is still a nice memory to look back at. And even though we don’t celebrate Christmas like that anymore Christmas is still the best time a year. I love how my family and I celebrate Christmas now, and I loved it back then. It’s different and that’s ok ❤️
@juliemariekl

My favourite Christmas memory would probably be receiving a ticket for Mastery University by Tony Robbins from my parents. That year was a year full of growth; coming out of depression, finding myself, building that support system and such. Receiving that gift made me realize how far I have made it, internally with myself and emotionally. It was definitely one for the books because now I’m growing and more open! @shaeflorant
My favorite holiday memory is, coming together with my family and spend time with them because I’m living alone in another city and I miss them a lot.
@bubenimpartim
Whenever I think of holidays, I’m reminded of my grandmother as I was very close to her. I’ve been living away from family since I was 15 years old because I went to a boarding school and holidays were the only time I could meet my family and be with my grandmother. She passed away 2 years ago but the holidays are still all about her and our time together.
my favorite holiday memory is watching Christmas movies while drinking some salted caramel hot cholcolate! 😀 And I love decorating the Christmas tree with my family ^^

My favorite holiday memory is coming together with my family and just watching Christmas movies and binge eating snacks all day long 🙂 _jenniferzou
I don’t have a specific favorite holiday memory, but I do really miss the time when I was younger when my whole family was together. I miss the big holiday get-togethers where everything just seemed so simple and innocent in my eyes as a child. I feel like as people get older, so many problems occur and families separate/get smaller. Nevertheless, I’m just happy to spend the holidays with the people I truly love and care about!

Decorating the Christmas tree and entire house with my entire family when I was younger. We would deck everything out in decorations and lights and eat cookies with Christmas music on!
Spending time with our family and three dogs. We always get together and all the kids get to make their gingerbread houses. It’s always loads of fun with lots of food involved.
Bennyloveschloe ☺️🎄
I don’t have many holiday memories bc holidays were not always the best time of year for me but I do remember one Xmas when I was around 6-7 yrs old, I wished for this one pencil box case that had all these little buttons and Knick knacks. I ended up getting it but I must have played with it too hard bc it broke. I remember my dad taking it and ended up fixing it for me. It was the best moment ever bc I loved that pencil case.
My IG handle is gabbtas.
I loved having all of our family over at my grandparents house on Christmas Day and all the delicious food! @cristalclearrr
One of my favourite holidays was with my family, back then when I was a child. We have a big family and the tradition is to go to dad’s on Christmas Eve and mom’s on Christmas. Singing the songs, gathering with cousins we don’t see often and sharing stories is the most wonderful way to spend Christmas 😬
@lala_ll
My favourite Christmas memory is actually New Years Eve (as that was our real “Christmas” that we celebrated when we lived back in Russia)! The parties were so lavish, the food was so immense and the people had fun on that one night to last them the year through. Now that I live in the US, Christmas has taken on a little bit of a different meaning, but it still remains a special day. Ig: @enbarres
My favorite Christmas memories have to do with seeing the faces of my loved ones content and full after eating. Christmas is so full of love, it’s freeing. @jncoolton
My fav memory, hands down having a massive food feast with my parents and people who have seen me growing up in Portugal. I’m grateful for being blessed with my loving parents, although because my parents moved to Europe 28years ago I’m not very close to my grandparents, its good having my portuguese grandparents during xmas! Can’t wait to finish the michaelmas term in uk and go back home🌟

My mom is a big advocate of skin care from an early age. I love the TLC and self love involved in any skin care routine.

@mel_a_herrera first I want to say I saw you putting on the product yesterday and I went on the their site to purchase the sample size to see how I feel about it!!! Thank you for sharing. My favorite memory has come this year. Nico (2 years old) is old enough now to understand the holiday. We also started the Elf (Alina) on the shelf. Ysa could care less about finding her in the morning, where nico runs out with joy to find her.
My favourite holiday memory is bumping into my fiancee at the mall on boxing day! We were friends in high school who lost contact while in university. That Christmas (in 2014!) My mom dragged me to the mall and his dad dragged him to the mall – and that’s where we met each other side by side in front of the cashier at the gap. 💕 Super silly but I’ll always remember hearing his familiar voice saying “faith?” From next to me and having me turn my head to see him there .
Ig: jar_of_faith
My favorite holiday memory is definitely dancing around the tree on Christmas Eve with my older sister to the Nutcracker ballet, pretending we were in the fairytale haha. We did that several years when we were younger, almost a tradition. Love my older sissy!! IG: @tasiafaren
Favorite holiday memory is the very first Christmas with my son. Watching him try to unwrap Christmas gifts is something I’ll always remember! IG: katienuggets #12DaysGiveaway
My favorite holiday memory is my family’s tradition every Christmas to get together on Christmas Eve and wait until the next morning to exchange gifts! We roast marshmallows by the fireplace, drink warm drinks, and the kids even have a dance competition downstairs to win a surprise gift (i think building traditions like this as a family is such a treasure). Christmas is always a joyful time for my family!

My favorite Christmas memories were when I spent them with my grandmother, mother but unfortunately they are no longer here anymore. But I do have a beautiful daughter to celebrate with.
My favorite Holiday memory, it is really old. I was 5 i guess, and all my family gathering together… we were at my meemaw’s house, and everyone was happy. I had a portable radio with a microphone to record my songs😂
I think that was the last year, when all the family was reunited. Because after that my peepaw passed away, and much has changed…😔

My most precious and favorite holiday memory is the first Christmas I spent with my husband. He came home from spending time with his family in Temecula early so that he could surprise me at home with my family. We opened presents and drank mimosas together by the tree all morning. It was magical. ☺️ @rinifoxworthy
Trips to hong kong @kewpie88
Fave holiday memory: family times @larissa.fall
My favorite holiday memory is the first time I experienced American Christmas after my family had moved from overseas. We went to pick our own fresh, live Christmas tree then brought it home to decorate! I have never experienced anything like this so it was a bit of a culture shock! I remember being mesmerized by how wonderful the real🌲tree felt and smelled! It felt like I brought the forest inside our new home! @pancakenmaple

My favorite holiday memory, though it’s more of a tradition, has been the hours spent constructing epic gingerbread houses that light up with stained glass windows and all the bells. As a working mom- this has always been a frivolity that my husband likes to remind me I have absolutely no time for but somehow go crazy and do it every year! This year my son has challenged me to make a gingerbread pirate ship. @manicanoziglia
