The Gift of Memories

It’s amazing how many memories can get packed into something so small.

After I graduated college, my mom passed down one of her family heirlooms to me to celebrate a huge milestone in my life. It was a ring that she had inherited from her mother-in-law and I remember everything about that day so vividly. Passing the ring down to me was so meaningful to her, and the story she told me about the ring is something that I still keep very close to my heart and I wear that ring almost every single day. It’s so amazing to have a physical reminder of my family and where I come from.

I recently brought my second daughter, Colette, into the world and thought it might seem a little too early but I’ve already started to think of what pieces I want to pass down to her and Chloe. Of course, that’s not going to happen for many years now as I want them to be fully responsible to take care of them, but I always wonder what kind of women they will grow to be, and love the idea of passing meaningful memories and items down to them once they’re older.

I truly appreciate fine jewelry now that I’m a mother of two more than I ever had before. Though I love my costume jewelry and playing around with trends- I really do value the few luxury pieces I have. I can’t wait to pass them down to my girls!

To add to the list of things I want to pass down to Chloe and Colette, I was so excited to team up with Chopard for Day 6 of the 12 Days of Chriselle. I was able to go to their gorgeous flagship store at South Coast Plaza and learn all about their Happy Hearts Collection that symbolizes self-giving.

This gorgeous bracelet I’m wearing is made of 18k rose gold and has one of Chopard’s beautiful floating diamonds. It’s such a timeless piece and a reminder of everything 2018 brought me: a new life, my newly renovated home, my new office space, CINC studios… the good, the bad and ultimately, the perseverance of hard work!

I can’t wait to pass it down to one of my girls someday as a reminder and token of hard work and self-love. Thanks to our partnership with Chopard, we were able to make a generous donation to the amazing Baby2Baby.
