What’s more classic than polka dots?

I feel like every summer, I end up gravitating towards this print. Do you remember this post from last summer? Polka dots will never go out of style. Along with polka dots, there are a lot of other prints that have been trending these last couple of months! The best part is that these prints can totally help you transition into your fall wardrobe, too!

Leopard Print

Animal prints will forever be a go-to print for me. It’s timeless and you can pretty much find anything you want in leopard print right now! It’s been a summer staple (we’ve all seen this skirt on IG!) and my guess is that it will continue to be huge this fall. At this point, it’s almost a neutral. Unless, of course, you go the colored and even bolder route like this.

Polka Dots

Like I’ve mentioned many times before, polka dots are here to stay! In this post, I’m wearing a polka dot bathing suit (check it out here) which is doubling as a bodysuit! Mixing the same type of print is a great way to add visual interest to an outfit. My tip is to use the print on different scales- for example, my bottoms have small, evenly placed dots while the bathing suit has large dots thatare placed more sporadically. Knowing your print scale is the difference between looking chic and looking like you got dressed in the dark!

Stripes

Stripes are another classic print that I’ll never stop wearing. Thick stripes, thin stripes, horizontal, vertical, you name it! Between a classic breton stripe top to a colorful rainbow– you can never go wrong. This season I’m particularly loving this print inaccessories! Like this scarf, this bag and these shoes!
