What to Wear in the South of France

[parallax][/parallax]

Traveling to the South of France had been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember. Last year, I was lucky enough to travel to the Cannes Film Festival for the first time (you might remember me talking about it here!) and I was finally able to check that off my bucket list. After returning again this year, I wanted to share with you all how I created the perfect wardrobe for the South of France!

Cannes is the perfect combination of being effortlessly glam by day and full on glamorous by night. When packing for this trip, I wanted to make sure I wore outfits that would be appropriate to wear if I ended up at the beach or if I ended up in the city. This gorgeous crochet skirt that I’m wearing (see it here) and the cute ruffle skirt (similar herewere perfect to throw on and still feel comfortably chic in. I always talk to you guys about how much I like wearing dresses when I travel because they’re the perfect “one and done” outfits, but recently skirts have been my go-to because you can always layer something else on or style it with something else you might have for a completely different vibe.

When it came to going out at night, I knew I wanted to make an uber glamorous statement, and this gorgeous black gown (like this one) did just that. I wore my hair in a sleek low pony and rocked some absolutely gorgeous statement jewelry from Chopard and this gorgeous watch from Jaeger leCouture.

I love getting inspired by different cities to break out of my usual dress code. Its the perfect time to do it!
