My NYC Shelfie

Part of my job is being in front of the camera all the time. From shooting for the blog or the channel to going to fashion shows and getting photographed for street style, it’s important for me to look my best! To make sure I’m always camera ready I make sure to take extra special care of my skin. You guys know how important my skincare is to me, and when I’m traveling it’s no different! For this New York Fashion Week, I gathered all of my skincare products together to show you my #shelfie!

I’m going to try to do a beauty shelfie of all the products I bring with me. Some of these products you might remember from the past as I’m a believer in sticking to a product that you know works, but it’s also my job to test and share with you guys some new products.

1. Caudalie Beauty Elixir Face Spray
There are many face sprays out there but this one still holds up as one of my faves as it leaves my fave super extra fresh and minty. I usually spray this right when I wake up after I wash my face to wake up my skin!

2. SkinCeuticals Retexturing Activator Serum
You might remember this serum from my French Pharmacy post, well I’ve been using it every day since I got it and I kid you not this serum has changed the texture of my skin. It’s a replenishing and resurfacing serum that instantly brings radiance and noticeably softer skin. I swear by this product and it’s probably THE best purchase I made this past month. I use it both in the evening and morning. You will notice an immediate difference… it’s quite incredible.

3. Kate Somerville Exfolikate
This is still to this day one of my favorites exfoliators. I wear a lot of makeup during fashion week so exfoliation is such an important step to my routine. It’s a gentle exfoliator that is great for all skin types.

4. Shu Umera Skin Purifier Cleansing Oil
I’ve been using Shu Umera Cleansing Oils for years now, and I swear by this product! If you read my post about how to properly remove your makeup, you will remember that cleansing oil is an essential part to properly removing all the impurities and stubborn makeup. I honestly think this Shu Umera cleanser has been one of the reasons why I don’t break out anymore… because I properly remove all the impurities from my skin before I go to sleep.

5. Darphin Ideal Resource Overnight Cream
I’ve been using this cream for the past month and it’s great because it acts as a moisturizer but almost as an overnight sleeping mask because it restores the skin’s glow and stimulates natural collagen overnight.

6. Darphin Oil
You guys know how obsessed I am with this oil. I am currently using the 8-flower nectar oil which is a rejuvenating elixir. I don’t think I need to go into detail about this oil since I talk about it all the time, but not a trip goes by when I don’t take this oil with me. I’ve been using it for so many years now.

7. Darphin Exquisite Beauty Revealing Eye and Lip Contour

I’m obsessed with this guy and it’s well on its way to being completely emptied. It’s an eye cream that really minimizes the look of dark circles and puffiness, but also enhances elasticity and firmness in the long run.

8. Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel Pads
I’m OBSESSED with these pads and I’ve been using them at home for a while now. I love that they’re so travel-friendly and that I can bring them wherever I go in these small packets. It’s a daily anti-aging extra strength peel in presoaked pads to resurrect radiance. It’s a two-step formula and it lightly exfoliates the skin giving it an instant radiance in less than 2 minutes. It’s also great for acne prone skin and aging skin.

9. Malin + Goetz Detox Face Mask
This is a mask that gives me an instant glow and radiance which is so important for me during fashion week, so I usually do this mask 2- 3 times while I’m traveling. It just gives my skin that extra glow since it immediately detoxes and purifies.

10. Estee Lauder Advance Night Repair PowerFoil Mask
You probably saw me doing this on Snapchat or on my Instastory. It looks quite scary as it’s literally a FOIL mask but this foil backed sheet mask allows the product to penetrate fast and deep within your skin’s surface to lock in moisture. The mask has 2x the Hyaluronic Acid which is double the dose of Advance Night Repair aka insanely glowing skin!

11. AHAVA Leave on dead sea mud Hand Cream
My skin gets quite dry during the cold winter months especially here in New York, so this hand cream has been a lifesaver for me! It’s formulated with dead sea mud that leaves my hands incredibly soft and supple!

12. By Terry Baume de Rose
This has been amazing for my chapped lips (especially in the winter). It helps soothe and plump! There’s shea butter in it so it’s incredibly moisturizing and it can double up as a nail treatment for dry cuticles!

13 Dr. Jart Liftra Contour Shaper
As you guys know, I never travel without this tool! It’s a massage roller that helps me lift my face and contour it. It also supports natural blood circulation and relaxes the muscles. It can also be used on other body parts such as the neck and arms.
