Why You Need a Sweater Vest
So, when you think of sweater vests, you probably think of your granddad, right? Well I did too until I found this Ganni one (similar here)! It’s slightly cropped, super fuzzy and has a subtle mock-neck (which I’ve been really obsessed with this winter).
I layered it over a cool bell-sleeved button down which is a great way to show off that cool blouse you’re wearing while still staying warm. Instead of pulling the collar of the blouse out and over the sweater, I kept it tucked in but peeking out just a bit to add some dimension! Since the sweater vest has a slight zebra print pattern in a gorgeous burnt orange, I knew I wanted to keep the rest of my outfit pretty simple. I threw on a pair of frayed denim (my go-to’s) in a darker wash to really balance out the look and some sleek pumps to add a punch of femininity.
Who knew I’d have a thing for sweater vests? Have you been wearing one this winter?

This is gorgeous! I love the sweater colour too.
I haven’t touched my sweater vests in years, but seeing this outfit makes me want to dig them out of my closet <3 🙂 Such a chic and classic outfit that's perfect for a more casual day in the office!
I’m dying over that bag. I want it so bad. YSL has a similiar that I’ve been gauking at.

Is it possible to pull off a V- neck sweater vest? I have one and am not so sure about that.

These photos are gorgeous, you styled this outfit perfectly!
I love how it adds dimension to a regular outfit. Sweater vests are probably great for those fitted coats you can’t wear much under! x
I have a sweater vest and I love wearing it!
I have to admit – I love sweater vests! I’ve always had a thing about them because they make for amazing layering pieces! I like to layer mine over shirts like you but I also like to experiment with them over jumpsuits! I love the way you’ve styled yours and you’ve really let the pattern shine through!
Seriously need your sweater vest:P
