For hot days, I like to wear a primer under my foundation. The Smashbox ‘Photo Finish’ Foundation Primer keeps my makeup in place all day- even in the DTLA heat!
As the temperatures in LA heat up, it seemed only appropriate to add a pop of red hot to my look! As you guys know, I usually gravitate toward neutral hues but I love adding pops of color to my everyday outfits. Something about a hot summer day makes me want to shake things up! My bright red Gucci bag and a bright red lip were the perfect ways to add a little spice to my black and white Proenza Schouler dress. And come on, the last thing you want to do on a hot day is put on a pair of jeans, right? A light and airy dress like this one is the ultimate way to look cool and stay cool. My tip? Rock a white dress! Though I love a good LBD as much as the next girl, white doesn’t absorb as much sunlight as a black does, so basically, a white dress means less sweat!

I saw this look and spotted this Proenza Schouler dress from a mile away. I love it so much and the whole Spring collection as a matter of fact. Seeing them in magazines and on red carpets has been cool because they look good no matter what, and this post is no exception. I like the tie around the neck detail of it and the black trimmings on the hems also. Plus I ilke that you styled this look with a great pair of mules and how you also added a pop of color to your look with your Gucci bag. You look phenomenal!
