Silk Outfit

During Paris Fashion Week, I wore yet another full monochromatic outfit, (have you seen my full fuchsia look ?) but this one was a bit more romantic. One of my favorite colors is a pale blush pink, so when I saw the outfit on the Jill Stuart runway in New York, I knew I had to get my hands on it. Luckily the lovely ladies at Jill Stuart were able to make my wish come true! I wore the look to the Elie Saab show as well as the CFDA Americans In Paris event where I got to hang out with some of my very special friends like Eva Chen and Aimee Song!

As much as I love this pale pink, I’ve never worn it head-to-toe before. So when styling this look I decided to pair it with a more masculine moto jacket to give it a little edge. It allowed me to toughen up the pink while still remaining whimsical and romantic! With equal parts girly and equal parts masculine, this silk outfit has the perfect balance! For some reason when I was younger, I never liked to admit that pink was one of my favorite colors. I think it was because I was always the girly girl and I wanted to fit in with the cool girls. Now that I’m older I can definitely say that pink is cool too. All I had to do was embrace it! That’s something that I really want to teach Chloe. You should never be ashamed of the things that make you happy.
