Hope you all had a lovely weekend. Kicking off this week with Week 22 of my Dress the Bump series! This past week for some reason I went for a more muted and color palette. Isn’t it funny how you don’t notice what you gravitate toward until you see it altogether?
Monday
I got tricked by the weather earlier last week when the weather seemed to be getting cooler and I wore jeans and a turtleneck. I love the length of this turtleneck because it goes just over my belly and gives me a great silhouette. As my belly is getting bigger i’ve realized that my regular length shirts have been slowly riding up my belly, so this longer shirt length is quite ideal at this point. And guess what??? My first pair of Maternity jeans! Not going to lie, i’ve been trying to hold on to my regular (non maternity) jeans up until this point, but I finally gave in to maternity jeans…and ummm why did I wait for so long??? These Pea In The Pod jeans are possibly the best invention for a growing belly!
Turtleneck Knit: Aritzia | Jeans: A Pea In The Pod |Heels: BCBG (on sale) |Clutch: Valentino
Tuesday
I wore a similar styled dress last week, but an oversized dress is so perfect and comfortable for every day! Unlike most maxi dresses, I love that this striped maxi tapers in at the hem, giving it much more shape and definition. For some odd reason I LOVE pairing stripes with a pop of red, it’s one of my go to pairings & combinations. I’ve also been wearing these Balenciaga sandals quite often as they have a tiny wedge heel, which gives me a bit of height, but comfortable enough to walk around in all day.
Maxi Dress: Erin Kleinberg |Bag: Lancaster |Sandals: Balenciaga |Sunglasses: : Ray Ban
Wednesday
You might remember this dress from this post here! I love light knits for this Fall and the lace trim gives this dress an incredibly romantic feel. When dressing the bump I find that one of the most important ways to keep an outfit fresh and non maternity-esque is by accessorizing. I’m a bags & shoes type of gal, so I always try to keep an outfit unique with statement clutches and shoes. I absolutely love the pink/red lips on this clutch paired with my new favorite pointy ankle boots.
Dress: Free People |Booties: Sigerson Morrison |Clutch: Lizzie Fortunato |Sunglasses : Ray Ban| Necklace: Dean Davidson

If you’ve seen my latest video, trousers are great for pregnancy…. I love these draw string trousers because they can be adjusted according to my growing belly. (Can you believe that these trousers are one size fits all?) I wore this outfit to a very important meeting I had with a client, and I wanted to look classic & professional. There’s something so sophisticated about wearing wide leg trousers with a blazer… it’s one of those outfits that work for women of all sizes whether pregnant or not!
Blazer: Finders Keepsers |Tank: Ingrid & Isabel |Trousers: Basic Terrain |Clutch: DVF | Cuff: Luv AJ
Friday
I love the cut and color of this dress. I initially bought this dress the other week to wear to a wedding after realizing that none of my (wedding appropriate) dresses fit! I’ve been on the search for one pieces that have unique cuts & silhouettes since they are the most comfortable thing to wear at this point.
And there you have it, my week 22 looks! I feel incredibly lucky that i’ve had an easy pregnancy up until this point, and I hope that it will continue to go smoothly for the next few weeks. I feel like compared to my friends I haven’t been experiencing nearly the same amount of discomfort they have! But the bigger I get, the heavier (& more tired) I feel! Are there any expecting mothers or mothers out there reading my blog? As I’m heading into my third trimester what can I expect? Share with me your experiences in the comments, I’d love to hear about your experiences!
Also just in case you missed out on last weeks Dress The Bump Series, make sure to check out Week 21 Here!

Hi Chriselle,
I am almost 29 weeks pregnant with my baby and tall and slim like you, so far it hasn’t been that challenging, although since 3 weeks ago I have been experiencing enhanced back pain, I am trying to combat with walking and prenatal yoga.
I bought maternity jeans around 5 weeks ago and am loving them, along with more bump enhancing outfits, I feel before now the stomach looked a little less like a baby bump and a little like weight gain 🙂
Other than that, I am asleep when we try to watch a series or movie by 10 pm, but it’s all going ok! You will be fine!
Great outfits BTW!

Hi there beautiful, love all the looks but my favorite ones are the Wednesday and Friday looks.
I experienced a lot of leg cramps on my rhird trimester, especially up by my back and outer sides of my thighs because of the belly weight. The best solution dor that is walking often weekly, it keeps the blood streams and oxygen flowing through your veins. The worse thing to do is to stand a lot because that just increases the “spider webs” appearance on your legs. Just make sure you see wapk and massage your legs with lotion. Hope you don’t experience the leg cramping, it’s no fun 🙁

You look great! I’m so happy to see two of my favourite fashion bloggers pregnant at the same time as me! The other is Emily from Cupcake and Cashmere. I am almost 33 weeks pregnant and it’s been a pretty easy pregnancy for me too but now that I’m bigger it’s hard for me to do the little things like rolling over in bed, tying my shoe laces and walking up a flight of stairs. Plus being on your feet for a good period of time is challenging. Keep on posting the maternity wear photos! I love to be inspired!
I always look forward to this post of yours because I need ideas on how to style my baby bump as well. I am 24 weeks in like yourself and feel heavy and tired all the time too, so you aren’t alone there. I can also relate to the fact that none of my old clothes fit me either and have new ones sewn just for me. Thanks for all the great tips and I am really loving this series.
btw, discovered you on Instagram when I clicked on the hashtag 20 weeks, and there you were! 🙂

One of the things that I have always slightly feared about getting pregnant is looking like a big fat sloppy whale, lol. You, as well as a couple other Youtubers/bloggers, are making pregnancy look FAB! I am now excited about it! Thanks!
