If You’re Feeling Fancy…

I live for fancy holiday parties. I like to dress up as it is, so dressing up for a holiday party is like two of my favorite things combined. I found this velvet wrap mini dress (check out a similar option here) and bought it without a second thought. I grabbed a pair of black tights and then a pair thigh high boots to finish it off! Though I could have been totally Christmas-y and did a red lip with my green dress- I decided to go with a nude lip instead.

If You’re Feeling Casual…

Is it considered outfit repeating if I had to wear this for a shoot and then wear the exact same outfit for a Christmas cookie party in a few weeks? Asking for a friend. An oversized sweater and black jeans is a no-brainer for me, so I gave it a little something extra by adding a bright red lip and some chic strappy heels. I’m a huge lipstick junkie, and I love finding long-wearing lipsticks and this one by Nars is my newest obsession. I even wore it for a night out last weekend- and it didn’t budge!

If You’re Feeling Trendy…

This outfit was inspired by Chriselle! I paired this midi-wrap skirt (check out a similar one here) with a red knit sweater and some thigh-high sock boots. To give it a little something extra, I put on my hat, which you might remember from this post here. I wouldn’t ever think to pair thigh high sock boots with a longer skirt… something about it makes me feel like I look too bottom heavy- especially with a sweater on top. But because the wrap skirt had a slit to show off even just a little bit of skin, it helped visually balance me out!

So here’s to some super fun holiday parties, tons of cookies and some great photo ops. Which look was your favorite? Let me know in the comments below and be sure to keep an eye out for my next post coming at you soon!
