NYFW Day 4 : Adrenaline Junkie

Can you believe it’s already NYFW Day 4? It was probably my favorite day yet. With an amazing editorial with none other than Elle Hong Kong and my Rebecca Minkoff runway debut: it was absolutely a day I’ll never forget. Not to mention all of my incredible fans that came by the Rebecca Minkoff store after the show to say hi! You guys are seriously the best.

6:30AM : Hair & Makeup

I woke up feeling a bit groggy … maybe because I only got 3 hours of sleep last night? I had a big shoot with ELLE Hong Kong so the hair and makeup team arrived super early to our place!

8AM : Shoot with Elle Hong Kong

We spent our morning at Bryant Park shooting a special editorial. I had 3 looks, and each of them was so amazing. I was especially in love with the yellow Roberto Cavalli dress…aka Beyoncé’s dress! (Lemonade anyone?)

11AM : Rebecca Minkoff Runway

Literally rushed over to get my hair and makeup done for the Rebecca Minkoff runway show! I was the last model to arrive due to my ELLE shoot, so they literally threw me into hair and makeup as soon as I walked in the door. Luckily I had my liquid gold aka iced coffee in hand to give me the extra boost I needed!

12PM: Showtime Baby!

Not sure why I felt so nervous about this show, but maybe it was because of the cobblestone runway? As I was walking down the runway I could see and hear my team and friends in the crowd rooting me on, and I couldn’t help but smile all the way down the runway! Most of the photos that were captured I was straight cheesin’!

2PM : Store Meet & Greet

I met so many amazing people afterwards at the meet & greet. Thank you to everyone who came and waited in that line. It’s always so exciting to put a face to a follower! You guys are seriously the best!

6PM : Jimmy Choo x Net-a-Porter Dinner

Finished off my night with the Jimmy Choo & Net-a-Porter team to celebrate their 20th anniversary. It’s always so lovely to spend some time with Sandra, the creative director, as she has been such an amazing friend and role model to me.

I’ve always had dreams of walking on a runway ever since I was a little girl. I was always a little too shy to express those desires as I never wanted to get rejected and I never felt pretty or good enough for anyone. Thank you Rebecca Minkoff for believing in me and giving me a chance. Never underestimate the power of your dreams and desires!
